Chapter 4

First time meeting a beautiful man like you

(REQUESTS ON HIATUS) Kokuzan oneshots

A/N: The picture above is how Muzan will look (Human version), as it is one of my favorite Muzan fanarts.

This is basically how I made Muzan and Michikatsu meet. I wrote this at 1 am and it was inspired by a fanart I once saw of Muzan.

And before you comment that I didn't give Muzan a fake name, in this, they do not know how Muzan looks, nor his name, so Muzan has no reason to change his name. This also includes elements of my future fanfic of my AU, I sadly just do not know in what period to start, so I will try to keep you all up to date!

Trigger warnings: Blood and terminall illness will be seen at the lines of "I am already lucky that the doctors have made me able to stand." till After about an hour, Muzan seemed to have somewhat healed from his... whatever he had.

Tsugikuni Michikatsu walked through the bamboo forest, he had just finished a mission, it wasn't a hard one, and he finished within an hour, most of the hour was searching for the demon, anyways.

He walked throught the thick forest, until he stopped, there was an open place, with a man standing infront of the moon. Michikatsu's eyes widened in awe as he spotted the ethereal figure standing tall amidst the bamboo forest, illuminated by the soft glow of the moon. Intricate strands of hair cascaded down the stranger's back; their beauty captivating Michikatsu's attention. The man turned around, revealing gentle features, soft eyes, and a gentle smile that sent a shiver down the young man's spine. Michikatsu felt drawn toward the mysterious stranger, and without thinking, he took a step forward.

Kibutsuji Muzan is a man of unearthly beauty, with sharp chiseled features that could cut through stone. His hair is jet black and falls in perfect waves down his back, framing his porcelain-like skin. His piercing blood-red eyes are framed by long lashes, and his lips are full and inviting, with a faint smile playing at their corners, he turned around and smiled at Michikatsu. "Hello," he said softly to the other man. His beautiful pale skin shining in the moonlight, he looked ethereal. He held a red Wagasa* in his delecate hands.

Tsugikuni Michikatsu gasped at the man's ethereal beauty. His lips parted slightly, letting out a hushed whisper of appreciation. His mind raced; he felt an unexpected fluttering of emotion in his chest. His gaze slowly drifted down the man's body, admiring every inch of his perfect physique. He had never seen anyone quite like him. His soft pink lips parted as he finally found his voice, whispering back, "Hello. Who might you be?"

The man chuckled softly. "Kibutsuji Muzan," he said with a gentle voice as he slowly walked towards Michikatsu. "And you? I've never seen you around here," he mumbled softly, fluttering his long, black eyelashes. Michikatsu took a moment to take in the man's beautiful features. It felt as if his thoughts were moving at a snail's pace. Could a man be this perfect? A strange feeling came over him; it was as if he couldn't take his eyes off of the man in front of him.

His heart raced in his chest, and his head was filled with all kinds of unexpected thoughts. He cleared his throat, "Ah, I'm Tsugikuni-Michikatsu. It's a pleasure to meet you, Kibutsuji-san," he said with a small smile towards the shorter man. "You too, Tsugikuni-san," he said as his hair flows in the wind. "I do have a request, Tsugikuni-san."

Tsugikunu tilted his head, his curiosity piqued at the man's request. He wondered what the beautiful Muzan could possibly need from him. "Please, what do you need of me?" he asked politely, his gaze glued to the man's soft facial features.

Muzan looked at his right sleeve, fiddling with the expensive fabric before speaking. "I have a problem, I am lost and I do not know my way back home. Would you be so kind and guide this lost one back to his house?" the male asked in a sweet tone, flicking his sleeve.

Michikatsu's heart raced when he saw the man fiddling with the fabric of his sleeve. He couldn't help it, something about the man's soft-spoken voice drew him in. Even his actions, like flicking a sleeve, seemed intriguing. Perhaps his interest in the man wasn't just physical. "Absolutely," he said swiftly, suddenly eager to spend time with the man. "I would be delighted to help guide you back to your home. Might I ask where your residence is located?"

"It is located in Kyoto, kind sir," he muttered, holding both his hands infront of his legs as he awaited Tsugikuni-san's answer. "Kyoto? A wonderful city," Michikatsu replied enthusiastically. He felt his entire face brighten at the idea of visiting the city with the man. He could only imagine how beautiful it would be to stroll down the streets of Kyoto, taking in the sights and sounds of the city, all while being in the presence of this handsome stranger. "I must warn you, my good sir," he said as he began to walk in the direction of the city, "It's quite a trip from here."

Muzan nodded, fully aware. "Yes, I am very aware, but I suppose I was curious on the outside instead of in the city, you see: my uncle is protective of me, and I do understand, as both my parents passed away when I was young, but I was curious to see how everything looked," he explained to the tall man as they walked through the bamboo forest.

Michikatsu listened attentively, his eyebrow raising in shock at the revelation of Muzan's parents passing away at such a young age. "My condolences for your losses," he said gently. "But I completely understand wanting to see what the outside world is like when you've been sheltered for so long."

As they continued walking, the young man added, "It doesn't seem fair for someone as wonderful as yourself to never be able to set your eyes on the world around you." The red eyed man nodded. "Yes, at a young age, I was not allowed to go outside, asd I was ill. Even now I am frail and my skin will get burns if I step under the sun," he frowned, looking down at the ground.

Michikatsu let out a small gasp of pity when he learned of Muzan's illness. So he was even more fragile than Michikatsu had initially thought. No wonder his uncle was so protective of him. "Does your condition have a name?" Michikatsu inquired with worry, looking down at the red-eyed man with concern.

"Not that I am aware of, but some joke around and call it the 'demon disease', as it sort of acts like a demon, if I remember correctly, as I cannot walk into the sun, neither can demons, am I correct?" he asked softly, looking at Michikatsu.

Michikatsu laughed softly, feeling himself become endeared by the gentle man. "Yes, that is true," he replied with a nod. "Demons are said to only be able to come out at night in the moonlight. You can't blame them for trying to make light of a terrible disease. I imagine it must make you feel very isolated."

He turned his gaze toward the man, his eyes soft with sympathy. "Do your burns from the sunlight hurt?" he asked. He nodded. "It does, it feels like I get skinned alive in certain parts, followed by pouring boiling hot water on the open wounds," the long haired man explained, shuddering at the thought. Michikatsu winced, his expression showing disgust at the thought of the intense pain and physical discomfort that Muzan must face every time he leaves his house.

"That sounds absolutely unbearable," he said with a slight sigh. "No wonder you never leave the house. I would feel the same way if I had your condition." Muzan nodded in agreement. "Which is why I leave at night, mostly with a guard or with my uncle, so that if the sun rises, I can be protected from its light," he explained carefully, his beautiful, long dark to light blue nails now on display too.

Michikatsu paused for a moment to take in the man's stunning nails. They were long and thin, yet so delicately shaped. How had he kept his nails to look so beautiful despite their length? "At night, it's quite peaceful," he mused. "You can hear the gentle chorus of crickets, and the birds calling out to one another. What's the longest amount of time you've spent outside at night?" He was curious to see what was the furthest limit of the man's disease.

"About 3 hours, as I am still in need of more medicine. You see, I sometimes choke on my own blood, which is quite painful, so I cannot stay outside all that long," he said with a montone voice. "I am already lucky that the doctors have made me able to stand."

Michikatsu grew concerned, "Choking on your own blood?" he asked with worry in his voice. "That sounds terrible. Is your illness fatal?" He wondered what might become of the beautiful red-eyed man. He reached out his hand and took one of the other's in his own, squeezing it tenderly.

"At first, it was declared a terminal illness, yes, but I suppose healthcare became advanced quickly, so I was saved with having a longer life span, as normally I wouldn't have been able to live past 20," he calmy stated, squeezing his hand back in responds. Michikatsu took in the information, relieved that he'd have the opportunity to spend more time with the beautiful man. If the doctors had predicted that he wouldn't make it past 20, then Michikatsu would enjoy every moment with this lovely person while he still could.

"That's wonderful news," he said with a small smile, his thumb gently brushing over the man's hand. "So, you're 20 now?" Muzan smiled at him before looking infront of himself again. "19, to be more precise," Muzan smiled softly, a little blush covering his cheeks at Michikatsu's gentle manner. "My birthday was last month, the third of june."

Michikatsu laughed softly at the boyish flutter of pink across the man's face. He found it quite adorable. This man had no business being this cute. "You are 19 years old and you have this illness, but you still manage to be one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen." He smiled warmly, a gentle breeze playing with his hair. Muzan had blushed at the compliment. "Thank you," he hummed. They had finally reached the edge of the forest, and Kyoto could be seen in the distance. "Is this your first time leaving Kyoto?" Michikatsu inquired.

"Yes, I suppose so, but you could walk me to my house, then you could visit me if you wish," He suggested softly, a smile appearing on his beautifully pale face. "It's no problem at all!" Michikatsu smiled softly. As he spoke he moved his hand slightly closer to Muzan's, giving his skin a slight touch. "Of course, I'd love to come visit you."

Michikatsu was slightly surprised when Muzan suggested that Michikatsu visit him. Maybe he really had caught Muzan's eye. "How far do you live from the city?" Michikatsu asked as he began to walk alongside the beautiful man.

Muzan stopped before he could answer, sweat forming on his forehead. He held his hand against his chest. He looked paler, if that was possible, anyway. "Kibutsuji-san?" Michikatsu asked with concern, noticing the way Muzan stopped before he could finish his last sentence.

Michikatsu felt his heart begin to pound in his chest at the way Muzan was sweating, his complexion becoming even more pale. He thought he'd even noticed the man holding onto his chest. Blood fell from Muzan's mouth as he got on all fours on the ground, panting as he gasped for air.

Michikatsu felt his heart stop when he noticed blood falling from Muzan's mouth, as well as the heavy panting and the way in which the man had fallen to his knees. He rushed next to the other man, quickly kneeling down with him. "Kibutsuji-san, what is it?" Michikatsu asked frantically, looking around for any sign of help. "What could have caused this? Are you in any pain? Is there anything I can do?"

Muzan panted softly, Michikatsu had sat on his knees, and Muzan fell, his head falling on Michikatsu's lap. He panted softly. "J-just... give me a... moment," he muttered, his skin hot. Michikatsu felt his heart racing as Muzan fell on his lap, the warm skin of the man's face nearly burning his thighs. He took Muzan's head into his lap and began gently stroking his hair, hoping to soothe the other man's anguish.

"Of course, take all the time you need," he said reassuringly. He was growing increasingly concerned for the man's health. He desperately hoped that there was something that he could do to help. After about an hour, Muzan seemed to have *somewhat* healed from his... whatever he had. "Michikatsu...?" he asked weakly.

"Yes, Kibutsuji-san?" Michikatsu asked, his voice filled with worry for the man he'd started to take a shine to. He looked into Muzan's eyes with concern, his thumb absently caressing the man's warm skin. "Are you alright?" He said softly, his eyes searching the man's for any sign of discomfort. "Yes, can you... help me up?" the long haired male asked softly, his hands and legs still shaking from the shock.

"Of course, I can." Michikatsu began to gently push the man up so that he was now sitting fully upright once again. Michikatsu had never seen someone in such a state. His concern for the other man was growing by the minute.

"It seems that you can move around alright, but was there anything I could do to help you get your energy back?" Michikatsu asked with caution, taking note of the way in which Muzan's body was still shaking involuntarily.

"I must rest," Muzan stated shakily, his eyes half lidded as he regains his breath. "It seems that this illness of your has taken a lot out of your energy," Michikatsu said as he looked at the man, his voice soft and gentle. He was surprised by the way in which Muzan was beginning to close his eyes. Did that mean he was beginning to lose consciousness? Was Muzan even alright enough to be sitting up? Michikatsu was deeply worried now.

"Shall we find you a place to rest, then?" he asked with concern. "I have to be home... Is it okay for you to carry me home?" he asked, rubbing his eyes to not fall asleep. He yawned softly and blinked a couple of times to 'wake up'. "Of course, I'll carry you home. But first, I must ask if you are truly alright. I don't want to risk anything happening to you." Michikatsu said softly.

"I am alright, simply tired. I have medicine at home for this, so I will be fine," he smiled weakly as the man picked him up. Michikatsu nodded, having already come to the conclusion that he'd have to carry the exhausted man home. He reached out and placed his arms around the other's waist, gently lifting him up so that he could now carry him bridal-style. He noticed how light the man was in his arms, a small smile forming at his lips.

"Very well," Michikatsu said softly, nodding. He smiled at the man's weak smile. In a swift motion, Michikatsu began to pick up speed, trying to hurry toward Muzan's house. He wanted to get there as soon as possible so that he could get the man the treatment he needed. As he sprinted through Kyoto, he noticed the many odd looks he was receiving, but Michikatsu ignored them. His only focus was being as quick as he could to return the red-eyed man to safety.

Muzan had cuddled up against Michikatsu's chest, nuzzling into him for warmth and safity. Muzan then stopped Michikatsu. "This is my home," he pointed to an expensive looking house, it seemed that Muzan was even richer than Michikatsu thought.

Michikatsu slowed to a stop as Muzan pointed out his home. It was a fairly large, spacious house. The wooden exterior was painted in a beautiful red color, and its roof was built in such a way that it looked like a butterfly's wing. "Oh. So you're quite well off, then." Michikatsu said, glancing at the house. He turned to face Muzan, who had already begun to nuzzle his head into his chest. He felt a small blush begin to warm his cheeks.

Muzan nodded softly with tired eyes. "Yes," he hummed as Michikatsu walked to the sliding door. With the man still in his arms, Michikatsu slowly slid the door open, stepping inside Muzan's home. The house had a large entryway, with a small table and two chairs. It seemed that the house had a very Eastern-style theme to it.

He gently began to make his way inside. "Where should I set you down, Kibutsuji-san?" Michikatsu asked, his voice quiet and gentle. Muzan pointed forward, and Michikatsu could faintly see a futon, that must be the bedroom of the beautiful man in his arms.

Michikatsu followed the man's gaze to the direction of what he'd assumed to be the futon. He carefully made his way over to it and gently laid Muzan down on the soft surface. Michikatsu knelt down beside the other man. While he knew he could've set him down on the chair nearby, he chose to sit there with him to avoid making him feel uncomfortable."Is there anything I can do to help you, Kibutsuji-san?" Michikatsu asked with a gentle smile.

Muzan hummed. "Could you grab my medicine?" he points to medicine laying on a table before laying back down and nuzzling into the soft blanket. "Of course. "Michikatsu stood up from where he was kneeling and walked over to the medicine that had been pointed out. He gently picked up the container and returned to his kneeling position beside the red-eyed man.

He opened the container and looked inside, his eyebrows slightly raised at the amount of pills the container seemed to hold. "How often do you have to take these, Kibutsuji-san?" Michikatsu asked as he looked up at the beautiful man. "6 times a day," he stated softly, looking at Michikatsu with tired eyes.

"That's quite a lot," Michikatsu said as he looked back at the man's tired eyes. "How long have you been taking these pills for? I imagine it must be hard on you." He had a look of concern painted on his face as he spoke. Michikatsu's thumb gently brushed the other man's cheek, the touch of someone else's skin sending a pleasant chill throughout his body.

"Ever since I was 10," he said as he put his own hand over Michikatsu's, a soft purr leaving his throat. "This feels nice," he smiled softly. Michikatsu smiled as he felt the man's hand covering his own. It felt soft and slender, yet so delicate in the man's grasp. He felt his heart flutter as a warm flush spread across his cheeks.

"Does it?" He replied softly, his voice filled with kindness. He looked at the man's hand and continued to stroke his thumb over the back of it gently. "Would you like me to continue?" He asked, his voice turning slightly husky as he spoke.

Muzan blushed. "I need to take my pills though, there's a water container there," he points at the container.

Michikatsu nodded and released his palm, noticing how close the man's hand still was to his. He was surprised by how soft the other man's touch was. "I remember," Michikatsu replied softly. He looked at his own hand, which the other man had been caressing, and felt a small blush begin to heat his cheeks. The man's gentle caress was beginning to have an effect on Michikatsu. He felt his heart race and his mind go blank as he stared back at the man he'd taken quite a liking to. "Michikatsu-san?" Muzan asked, snapping Muzan out of his daydreaming. "The water, please," he chuckled lightly.

A snap of reality came upon Michikatsu when the red-eyed man inquired about the water. He let out a sharp breath as he saw how close they still were to each other."Of course, Kibutsuji-san," Michikatsu smiled. He turned to look at the container that was nearby, grabbing it and opening it for the other man. He placed it on the man's outstretched hand before smiling softly down at him. "Drink when you are ready."

Muzan smiled at the caring man, slowly taking the pill and putting it in his mouth and drinking the water. "Thank you, but I do have a question," he insisted.

"You are most welcome," Michikatsu replied softly as the man swallowed the pill and drank the water. He raised an eyebrow at the man's question and nodded."Yes, Kibutsuji-san, of course. You may ask any questions you'd like," Michikatsu replied. He was curious to see what the man was so keen to ask about him.

"Mere minutes ago you said 'would you like me to continue', and I couldn't help but be curious on what you meant by that," he smiled as he sat, his hands in his lap now. Michikatsu felt himself blush again as the other man asked for clarification. He couldn't believe he'd accidentally said something so forward with his heart on his sleeve.

"Ah... well..." Michikatsu took a deep breath as he thought. He didn't know how to answer the question without seeming creepy. He decided to be honest with the man. "I was asking if you'd like me to continue to stroke your hands." Michikatsu admitted sheepishly.

Muzan blushed softly. "Mmm..." he hummed before smiling and nodding. "Yes, please. It felt really nice."

Michikatsu's blushing face got even redder when the man nodded and said he'd like him to continue. He felt his heart racing. He could barely believe that the man was so keen to let him continue with that innocent gesture. "As you wish." Michikatsu smiled, running the backs of his fingers softly over the back of Muzan's soft hand once again. He was aware of how close he was standing to the man but continued to ignore it. He couldn't help but hope for the man's words to become a reality.

Muzan smiled, laying down as Michikatsu strokes his hand. "Thank you, Michikatsu," he said before closing his eyes and fallling asleep, softly snoring. Michikatsu felt his cheeks burn as his touch sent the man to sleep. He hadn't expected such a cute and vulnerable reaction out of the man, but he liked it.

Michikatsu looked at the still body of the man and decided to make himself comfortable beside the man that he'd fallen for. He lay down on the floor and closed his eyes. He'd continue to stroke the man's hand as he slept, feeling content for now.

After a few more minutes, Michikatsu had gotten a message from a crown which he quickly shut up so it wouldn't wake Muzan up. "Shut up, will you?" he hissed at the crow. When the crow had told him his mission, Michikatsu wrote a letter and lay it next to Muzan, so that the man wouldn't panic if he was gone.

He stood up, going to walk away. He looked back at the sleeping man. Michikatsu smiled, he sighs and walks back, gently kissing the other's forehead before standing up again and walking away. "Have a well sleep, Kibutsuji-san," he said before leaving the house, on his way to his next mission.

A/N: Should I make a part two of this? Or should I make a whole story about these two love birds? EDIT: A wagasa is an umbrella in Japan.
