Sandra paced in her room restlessly, though they have come up with a plan to terminate Laura's pregnancy, she doesn't want to live under the same roof with Laura especially now that she is pregnant.She came up with an idea to terminate the pregnancy without Mason's help. She went to the kitchen, took some papaya from the fridge, blended n pour it into a cup, she placed it on the dining table, and rushed back to the kitchen.Laura had just finished taking a long walk in the garden, she was heavily tasty and the drink on the table looked divine. She didn't care to know who it belongs to, she gulped it till the last drop.Sandra rushed out of the kitchen with a fake shocking-looking table napkin. "Laura, why did you drink that?" She asked with wide eyes."There is no need to be angry it was just juice, I'll make you a new one, I was tasty." She laughed"That was papaya juice and it is unripe, you are not supposed to drink that it is not good for you." She explained.Alex came downstairs when he heard the commotion "what is wrong?""She drank papaya juice." Sandra was busily explaining what happened acting like a good sister, they were unaware of the fact that Laura was feeling some discomfort in her stomach."Alex I don't feel so good, it hurts" she muttered,"What do you mean it hurts?" He panicked. He rush to his room, grabbed his car key, and carried her to his car. Sandra smiled when no one was looking, and she followed to the hospital.Blood flowed from her vagina "Hurry Alex, she is bleeding" Sandra yelled, crocodile tears rolling down her milky cheeks, she held her sister in her arms who was crying due to the pain she was feeling.When they got to the hospital, she was rushed to the emergency room, the doctor ran some tests on her, and they were able to stop the bleeding and the pain she was feeling.Alex was called to the doctor's office a few minutes later, he had a stern look on his face "why in the world would you let your pregnant wife eat unripe papaya? Don't you know it is not good for the baby she is carrying?" He scolded.If it was a different case, the doctor would have been laying down on the floor with blood oozing out of his head."How is she and the baby?" He asked with a calm face."Luckily they are fine. She should avoid eating papaya, especially the unripe one, as it contains latex which could lead to early labor but since she is still in her first trimester, she bled which could lead to a miscarriage. Her body mistook the papain for prostaglandins which is used to induce labor. She is lucky." Alex nod and left the room after he was done with the doctor.He went to the lobby with an angry look on his face "you shouldn't hide the smile on your face little whore" he said staring daggers at Sandra."What do you mean Alex?" She feigns ignorance."Do you think I don't know about your plans? You are lucky they are fine. There's only one thing keeping me from kicking you out of my house or sending a bullet through your empty head and that is Laura, I want her to do it herself and that's why you are still in my house.""I..I... But" she couldn't form a single sentence in her mouth, it felt like her brain was normal and couldn't develop anything."You are lucky Mason didn't do anything to her the day you let him kidnap her, your days in that house are numbered, and stop trying to charm my daughter with your fake affection, she hates you to stupor." He went to meet his woman in her room.Laura was deep in thought she almost lost her child because of her recklessness. She caressed her tummy which is yet to form a pump."What are you thinking about love?" Alex asks, he has been standing at the door observing her."I almost had a miscarriage Alex, I do think without thinking, will I be a good mother in the future?""What are you saying? Sure you are a little careless and reckless but it makes you a bad mother, you take good care of Kimberly and that's enough proof that you are a good mother." He lift her hands and gave her knuckle and a kiss."You think?""I know my love""I love you" she whispered"Say that again""I love you Mr. Alexander Quinn" she smiled. This is the first time she is proclaiming her feelings for him.Alex gave babe." her a deep kiss before saying "I love you tooShe was discharged from the hospital the next day. Sandra was quiet throughout the whole day, she had no idea Alex had a whim on their plan, she thought she was calling the shots but it seems he was the one the whole time.She called Mason "Hi Mason, I think we should lay low, for now, Alex knows everything and I am scared of what he might do, I don't want to stretch his patience, it might snap." She said."What did he do? How did he find out?" the person at the other end of the phone asked."I tried killing the baby on my own.""What did I tell you? This is why I don't like working with people." He said disconnected the call.Sandra scoffed, if he had no use for her, he wouldn't have picked her up when she was working aimlessly on the street he wouldn't have sent her here.
