"Watch Your Steps Pt.2"

Sana Short Imagines

Y/N's cousin, Maria, appeared at her doorstep in a panic, her face flushed with worry. "Y/N, I need your help," she blurted out, her voice trembling with urgency.

Y/N raised an eyebrow, curious about the sudden urgency in Maria's demeanor. "What's wrong?" she asked, concern flickering in her eyes.

"I have an emergency at work, and I need someone to take my place for the day," Maria explained, her words rushed as she fidgeted nervously.

Without waiting for further explanation, Y/N's mind raced with possibilities. "What kind of emergency?" she asked, already thinking of ways she could assist her cousin.

Maria hesitated, her gaze flickering away for a moment before she finally met Y/N's eyes. "It's complicated, but I'm an assistant. Come on, it's just and easy job." she confessed, her voice tinged with apprehension.

Y/N's interest waned at the mention of the job, knowing it wasn't something she was particularly keen on. However, Maria made a proposition that caught her attention. "I know this is a big ask, so how about this? If you help me out today, I'll let you borrow my Xbox for a week," Maria offered, a hopeful smile playing on her lips.

Y/N's eyes widened in surprise at the unexpected deal, considering the offer carefully. Despite her lack of enthusiasm for the job, the prospect of having access to Maria's Xbox for a week was too enticing to pass up. "Deal," she agreed, shaking Maria's hand to seal the arrangement.

Maria rolled her eyes at Y/N's eagerness to strike the deal, but she couldn't help but feel relieved that her cousin had agreed to help her out in her time of need.

Y/N stood before the grand mansion, her mouth agape in astonishment. She checked the address once more, confirming that she was indeed in the right place.

With a lollipop still dangling from her mouth, Y/N rang the doorbell, her patience wearing thin as she waited for someone to answer. After three unanswered rings, she grew impatient and decided to take matters into her own hands.

Pushing the door open, the opulent interior of the mansion took her breath away as she stepped inside, her eyes darting around in wonder. She plopped herself down on the plush sofa in the living room, feeling out of place amidst the lavish surroundings.

As Y/N lounged on the plush sofa in the opulent living room, her attention was drawn to the sound of footsteps descending the grand staircase. A woman wearing casual attire made her way down, her expression preoccupied and unaware of Y/N's presence.

Y/N couldn't help but smirk as she recognized the woman from their previous encounter. Seizing the opportunity to break the awkward silence, Y/N spoke up. "Wow, this mansion is stunning," she remarked, amusement dancing in her eyes.

The sudden sound of Y/N's voice startled the woman, causing her to flinch in surprise. She cursed under her breath, her nerves on edge as she turned to face Y/N, her expression a mixture of shock and annoyance.

Sana's eyes widened in disbelief as she took in the sight of Y/N lounging on her sofa. "You?! How did you get in here?" she demanded, her voice tinged with frustration.

Y/N shrugged nonchalantly, unfazed by Sana's hostile demeanor. "Through the door, obviously. I'm Y/N by the way," she replied casually, her tone laced with sarcasm.

Sana's annoyance only grew at Y/N's flippant response. "This is private property," she snapped, her hand reaching for her phone to call the authorities.

But before she could dial, Y/N intervened, stepping forward to diffuse the tension. "Whoa, chill out," she said, her voice calm but firm as she addressed Sana. "I'm supposed to be here. My cousin Maria asked me to fill in for her as an assistant for the day."

Sana's eyes narrowed in suspicion at Y/N's explanation. She snatched her phone back from Y/N's grasp.

Y/N rolled her eyes at Sana's skeptical expression, her patience wearing thin. "Look, I'm just here to do a job. If you don't believe me, call Maria and confirm it yourself," she suggested, her voice tinged with annoyance.

Sana listened to Y/N's explanation, her initial skepticism giving way to begrudging acceptance. "Fine, I'll take your word for it," she replied curtly, her tone still tinged with irritation.

As Sana observed Y/N from head to toe, her attention was drawn to the lollipop dangling from Y/N's mouth, an irritating distraction in her eyes. Without hesitation, Sana reached out and plucked the lollipop from Y/N's mouth, tossing it into the nearest trash bin.

Y/N's eyes widened in shock as she watched her beloved lollipop meet its untimely demise. "Hey, what was that for?" she protested, her voice tinged with indignation.

Sana rolled her eyes at Y/N's dramatic reaction, unimpressed by her childish antics. "You're too old to be sucking on lollipops like a child," she retorted, her tone dripping with disdain.

Y/N's jaw dropped in disbelief at Sana's audacity. "Are you jealous or something?" she exclaimed, unable to hide the amusement in her voice. "If you wanted a lollipop, you could have just asked."

Sana's lips curled into a mischievous smirk as an idea began to form in her mind. Remembering their earlier encounter and feeling a surge of vindictive satisfaction, she decided to turn the tables on Y/N.

Without a word, Sana strode past Y/N, her gaze fixed on some invisible target in the distance. "Come on, we're going somewhere," she commanded, her voice brooking no argument.

As Y/N scrambled to catch up, curiosity piqued by Sana's sudden change in demeanor, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was in for an unexpected adventure.

As they walked, Y/N couldn't help but notice the mischievous glint in Sana's eyes, a stark contrast to her usual composed demeanor. The air crackled with tension, and Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that Sana had something up her sleeve.

Lost in her thoughts, Y/N found herself muttering under her breath, questioning whether Sana's actions were still part of her job as Maria's replacement. To her surprise, Sana heard her muttered words and turned to her with a wicked smile playing on her lips.

"Oh, this is far beyond your job description," Sana replied, her voice dripping with amusement. "Consider it a little... bonus for your assistance."

Y/N's eyes widened in alarm at Sana's cryptic words, her instincts screaming at her to tread carefully.

As Y/N and Sana arrived at their destination, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped them, momentarily easing Y/N's apprehension. Sana confidently strode up to the counter and placed their order, her demeanor calm and collected.

Y/N couldn't help but shake off the feeling of unease that lingered from their earlier encounter. Maybe she was just overthinking things, she reasoned to herself as she followed Sana to their table.

As they settled into their seats and began to eat, Y/N started to relax, convinced that Sana's behavior was nothing more than a harmless prank. But just as she let her guard down, Sana suddenly burst into tears, her sobs echoing throughout the cafe.

"Y/N, how could you do this to me?" Sana wailed, her voice thick with emotion as she accused Y/N of infidelity. "I saw you with another woman!"

Y/N's eyes widened in shock as she glanced around the cafe, feeling the weight of judgmental stares bearing down on her. She reached out to hold Sana, "Stop this act," Y/N then looked at the people around them and told them that she doesn't know Sana at all.

Sana then pulled away, her face twisted with anger. "Don't you dare touch me!" Sana spat, her voice filled with venom as she accused Y/N of betraying her trust. "You have no right to pretend like you don't know me!"

Feeling the weight of the accusing stares from the other patrons, Y/N's heart sank as she realized the gravity of the situation. Desperate to salvage what was left of her dignity, she grabbed Sana's wrist, her voice trembling with uncertainty.

"Please, you're making a scene," Y/N pleaded, her words falling on deaf ears as Sana continued to berate her in front of the crowded cafe.

With tears streaming down her cheeks, Sana stood up abruptly, her voice breaking as she delivered the final blow. "I'm breaking up with you, Y/N," she declared, her words echoing in the stunned silence of the cafe.

Y/N watched in disbelief as Sana stormed out of the cafe, leaving her behind with nothing but the judgmental stares of the other customers. With a sinking feeling in her chest, Y/N chased after Sana, her voice rising in frustration as she called out to the woman who had just embarrassed her.

"Hey woman! Are you insane?!" Y/N shouted after Sana, her voice filled with disbelief. But Sana merely smirked in response, a cruel satisfaction gleaming in her eyes, walking proudly while wiping her fake tears as if nothing just happened, as she disappeared into the distance, leaving Y/N to pick up the pieces of her broken trust she have on Sana.

(I enjoyed thinking about the scenes. Hope you guys also did.)
