"Cookie"
Sana Short Imagines
Y/N lounged on the couch, a craving for cookies making her stomach rumble. She turned to Sana, who was sitting beside her. "You know what I really want right now?" Y/N asked, a playful smile on her lips.
Sana tilted her head, curious. "What is it?"
"Cookies," Y/N replied, her eyes twinkling with anticipation.
Sana's face lit up with determination. "I'll make some for you!" she declared, hopping up from the couch.
Y/N watched with a mix of amusement and affection as Sana marched into the kitchen. "Are you sure you don't want my help?" Y/N called after her.
Sana shook her head confidently. "Nope, I've got this! You just relax."
Y/N chuckled, settling back onto the couch but keeping a watchful eye on her girlfriend.
Sana began gathering the ingredients and tools she needed, humming a cheerful tune. However, her clumsiness quickly made itself known. She accidentally knocked over a bag of flour, sending a white cloud into the air. Y/N covered her mouth to stifle her laughter.
"Oops!" Sana exclaimed, her cheeks turning pink. She quickly tried to clean up the mess, but it only seemed to spread the flour further.
Y/N couldn't help but giggle. "Need any help yet?"
Sana shot her a determined look. "Nope! I can manage."
As Sana continued, she made more small mistakes. She accidentally cracked an egg too forcefully, causing it to splatter on the counter. She spilled a little too much vanilla extract into the batter, and when she tried to mix the ingredients, some of the batter flew out of the bowl.
Each mishap made Y/N laugh harder. "Sana, you are too cute," she said, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes.
Sana laughed along, her spirits high despite the chaos. "Hey, I'm trying my best here!"
Then, as Sana added salt to the mixture, disaster struck. The cap of the salt shaker fell off, and a large amount of salt poured into the bowl. Sana froze, her eyes widening in horror.
"Oh no!" she cried, her face falling. "I ruined it!"
Y/N quickly got up and walked over, wrapping her arms around Sana from behind. "Hey, it's okay," she said softly, resting her chin on Sana's shoulder. "It's just a little too much salt. We can fix it."
Sana turned to look at Y/N, her eyes glistening with frustration and embarrassment. "But I wanted to make perfect cookies for you."
Y/N smiled, gently brushing a strand of hair from Sana's face. "They don't have to be perfect. I love that you wanted to make them for me. Let's do it together."
Sana took a deep breath, nodding. "Okay. Together."
With Y/N's help, they managed to salvage the dough, carefully removing the excess salt and adding a bit more sugar to balance the flavor. They worked side by side, sharing smiles and laughter as they shaped the cookies and placed them on the baking sheet.
As the cookies baked in the oven, Y/N pulled Sana into a warm embrace. "See? We make a great team."
Sana smiled, feeling reassured and loved. "Yeah, we do."
When the cookies were finally done, they sat together at the kitchen table.
"Moment of truth," Y/N said with a smile as she carefully placed the tray of cookies on the counter to cool.
Sana watched eagerly, her eyes wide with anticipation. "They look pretty good, don't they?"
Y/N nodded. "They do. Let's give them a try."
Y/N picked up a cookie and took a tentative bite. As soon as the cookie hit her tongue, she felt the overwhelming saltiness. She tried to keep her expression neutral, but her eyes widened slightly. Sana, noticing Y/N's reaction, looked at her expectantly.
"How is it?" Sana asked, her voice filled with hope.
Y/N chuckled nervously, trying to find the right words. "Well, it's... unique."
Sana's smile faltered, and she grabbed a cookie to try it herself. The moment she took a bite, her face contorted with the intense saltiness, and she quickly spit the cookie out into the trash can. Her shoulders slumped, and she looked at Y/N with a mixture of disappointment and embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry, Y/N," Sana said, her voice small. "I messed it up."
Y/N immediately pulled Sana into a comforting hug. "Hey, it's okay," she said softly, rubbing Sana's back. "It's your first time baking cookies. It's not a big deal."
Sana leaned into Y/N, feeling a bit better from her girlfriend's reassurance. "But I wanted to make something nice for you."
Y/N smiled, lifting Sana's chin to look into her eyes. "You did. The effort and love you put into this means more to me than a perfect cookie ever could."
Sana's lips curled into a small smile, her spirits lifting. "Really?"
"Really," Y/N affirmed, giving her a quick kiss. "And you know what? I'm not craving cookies anymore."
Sana laughed softly, feeling the warmth of Y/N's love and understanding. "You sure?"
"Absolutely," Y/N said, grinning. "How about we just cuddle and watch a movie instead?"
Sana's eyes brightened at the idea. "That sounds perfect."
