Chapter 32
Beware of the Villainess!
âDonât you dare lie! Just the last time I saw you, werenât you timid and weak?! Thatâs totally cheating! Did that white-haired dude scheme something again?!â
As my patience ran low at Jackâs continuous whining, I raised my sword and slammed the back of the sword into his head.
âAck! It hurts! Do you want to go!â
It grew even more noisy. It had the reverse effect. If he had the body of a werewolf, then he should make less of a fuss.
I let out a sigh and crossed my arms.
âYouâre noisy. If you want, Iâll fight you without a complaint. However, right now, itâs time for the reason for your visitation. Tell me why you trespassed this time and last time. What exactly do you want to do? It canât be that you came to drink herb tea and eat chocolate chip cookies with me, did you?â
Jackâs face decayed into disgust as though my words brought goosebumps to his skin. Jack brushed himself off and stood up and ran his hand through his hair.
âDamnâ¦â¦. I told you at the end of the letter.â
ââ¦â¦ Iâm telling you I donât understand what youâre saying.â
Those two red eyes shone with light as he approached me. Soon, Jack had pushed his face right in front of me and pointed towards the dark brown wound above his eye.
âLook at this. Thereâs a wound, right? Werewolves heal very fast from such wounds. What would a lady like you know? Only when werewolves attack others werewolves do wounds like this one form.â
Jack revealed his canines and started to let out a dangerous chuckling sound.
âAnd this, is the present that Nine, that bastard, gave me at that fucking ball.â
âNineâ¦â¦ youâre saying, heâs a werewolf?â
I attempted for a calm voice as I stared straight at Jack.
âOh, to be exact, he âwasâ a werewolf. Lady. Usuallyâ¦â¦.â
At Jackâs voice that was mixed with laughter, I gritted my teeth so hard that my molars felt like breaking.
âThat guy betrayed his own kind, and had his tongue cut off and canines plucked out. Such bastards arenât called werewolves.â
Jack didnât pay much attention to my reaction and continued as though he enjoyed it.
âI should have plucked off that bastardâs head when I had the chanceâ¦â¦ By letting him escape, the situation has become tedious and bothersome. Lady. Young lady has hidden Nine, that bastard, away, right? Seeing as you brought him to the ball, it appeared your relationship was rather close. Arenât you still hiding him away somewhere, right? If you bring him to me obediently, I wonât annoy the lady any longerâ¦â¦.â
ââ¦â¦up.â
âHuh? What, Ack!â
I slammed the abdomen of Jack, who continued to shit with his mouth, with the heel of my boot. Jack let out a sound as though he was suffocating and tottered.
âShut the fuck up.â
I smiled amiably and raised the sword.
âHayley.â
Hayley, who had been watching me with intoxicated eyes from next to me, jumped and responded.
âYes, yes! Ladyâ¦â¦!â
âAre you sure you removed all items and persons from the immediate surroundings?â
âOf course! I have removed them all.â
âYou did well. Then, could you also retreat for a while?â
I spoke in a low voice towards Jack who was glaring at me to death.
âI think itâs time to educate the friend whoâs less than a beast in that he doesnât listen to words.â
***
âDamn itâ¦â¦.â
âCan you now stop it? Iâm starting to find you pitiful.â
âSo noisy! Aaahhhh!â
Heâs already lost his reason.
I narrowed my eyes, and fuâ¦â¦ no, I batted away the Jack who rushed at me while foaming at the mouth with my sword.
Puck.
It was a normal person, I wouldâve heard the sound of their skull shattering into pieces. However, it was an attack that merely stopped Jack in his tracks. I already knew this would happen. After all, it was difficult for me to leave a fatal wound with that sword with my current skills.
However, I could make him kneel before me. I Â quickly slammed a blow just below the knee to Jack, who was tottering about after my hit to the head. Just like the sturdy werewolf he was, Jack didnât let out a single groan. It was just that he fell onto the ground.
