"Bambola wake up." A voice said while shaking my body.

"What?" I asked groggily. "School." The voice said. I opened my eyes and saw Matteo towering over me. "Wake up. We're gonna be late." He said.

I looked at the clock and saw it was 6:30 am. I stood up as Matteo left my room. I hopped in the shower and washed my hair and body.

All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, I clutched my stomach and hurriedly stepped out. I wrapped a towel around my body and quickly got dressed in my uniform.

I felt like I was peeing my pants, I went to the bathroom and locked the door. I sat on the toilet and saw blood. Lots and lots of blood.

I did the best thing I could think of. I screamed.

I heard heavy footsteps running towards me, then someone started banging on my door.

"Tali! Are you okay?!" Ace's scared voice yelled.

I'm dying! O. M. G. I'm bleeding! I'm gonna die!

"I'm dying!" I yelled.

"What?!" Ace yelled. I heard my doorknob trying to be opened then I heard keys jingling.

Ace burst in and saw me crying my eyes out. His eyes were wide but softened immediately.

"Princess, it's okay your not dying okay?" He said. "I am Ace! I am!" I yelled.

"Princess it's normal, nobody taught you?" He questioned.

I nodded and shook my head while fat tears rolled down my cheeks. "Well, I know a little about it I just thought it was a myth or something." I cried

"Uhh okay wow this is happening. Oh my gosh, you growing up okay, okay. I'll run you a bath and then I'll get Vincent 'cause he's a doctor and knows all this female stuff okay?" He said in one breath.

I nodded as he wiped my tears. He started to run a bath as I sat there just now realizing I'm sitting on the toilet.

Great! I embarrassed myself twice in one sitting.

I quickly stood up and pulled up my skirt trying to ignore the uncomfortable feeling throughout my body.

"Okay hop in the bath, I put bath salts and lavender soap in to calm your body. Vincent will be in here soon once your clean and dressed okay?" He said.

I nodded and smiled, then I started crying. Like really hard.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Ace asked me as he picked me up. I nuzzled my face in his neck as I continued to cry hysterically.

"I- just l-love you s-so so m-much" I cried. "I love you so much too princess. You are my everything Taliah don't ever forget that." He said as he put me down.

"Get in the bath and enjoy your time alone okay? And maybe talk to Romano he's been a bit down since yesterday." He said as he kissed my hair.

After he left I stripped my clothes off and got inside the warm bath.

Gosh, it felt so nice, after about an hour or two I finally got out.

I wrapped a towel around my body and went to my closet and put on sweatpants and a t-shirt.

I sat on my bed and clutched my stomach in immense pain.

A knock on my door brought me out of a painful daze. "Can I come in?" Vincent said peeking his head in with his eyes close.

"Yeah," I whispered.

He opened his eyes and look at me in remorse. "My poor baby, oh look at you I brought you some medicine." He said as he pulled out a white painkiller bottle and a small purple box

I quickly took the old water bottle I had next to my bed and swallowed two pills

Vincent sat next to me and put the little box down while taking a took a deep breath.

"So what do you know about your menstrual?" He asked. Menstrual? Wait oh that's what makes me bleed to death! Okay got it.

"Well nothing really, I thought the whole thing was a myth, to be honest," I said.

"Okay well, it's not you can start it from ages 10-16 years old. You being 15 is pretty normal but I think it's also a result of your past." He said.

He told me all there is to know from what happens while you are on your menstrual to how to use disposable pads.

"Whoa, that's a lot to go through," I said. "I know that's we give women more credit," Vincent said.

"Well it's noon now and you're not going to school I'll make you soup and tea while you rest up. Okay?" He said I nodded while snuggling into my blankets.

Vincent kissed my head and went out of my room I went into the bathroom and used the pad using the instructions Vince gave me.

After that I laid in my bed stating at the ceiling all of a sudden I get an urge to talk to Romano.

Hopefully, he didn't leave for any surprise work today.

I walked to his office and heard soft murmurs inside I knocked on the door waiting for a response.

'Come in' was heard. I wiped my sweaty hands on my shirt and slowly turned the doorknob.

I walked inside and took a slow but extremely deep breath and looked up at Romano.

"Did you need something?" He asked. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry if I hurt you but you hurt me too. You brought back pain that I could never forget. People say its pain makes you stronger but it just makes me hurt, hurt on the outside and inside." I blurted.

Within seconds I was engulfed in a bear hug by Romano. "I'm so sorry Il Mio Beaty non volevo fare del mal" he whispered.

Disregarding the Italian language that is foreign to me literally and trying to suppress the tears trying to fall down my face.

I hug him, even tighter. He lifted me off the ground and sat me in his lap on his big black chair.

"Principessa I'm so so sorry for scaring you I just my way and I snapped." He said.

"It's okay big brother I get it," I said while smiling warmly at him.

"So you want to change your last name?" He asked.

"No never, Waters is mom's last name," I said. "No, it's not, who told you that?" He asked.

"Mom" I murmured before everything went black.
