46 – Pajama Party with the Seven 2

Night time. Five of The Seven came to visit me.

They heard that the kids would crawl into my bed so they came to the puzzling conclusion that “If we turned back into young girls, could we sleep with him?”

I did not vehemently refuse, so we will be sleeping together.

I keep replaying the events in my head over and over again, but I still don’t get it.

Anyway, the magical swordswoman Eleanor, the teacher of the magic academy Louto, the Demon King Army Chief intelligence officer Vivi, the guardian maid Lejie, and the Magic Tool engineer Monana all came to visit my room.

Ferris the maid came along as well, but she looks like she’s their guardian.

The five girls are currently arguing at the foot of my bed.

「The spot closest to him should be reserved for me, the one closest to Sir Rain.」

Mini-Eleanor puffs up her chest in superiority.

Her once ample bosom has now become flat thanks to the Youth Potion. I suppose I should say they returned to being flat.

「That is inexcusable, Eleanor. I acknowledge your deeds as Hero Rain’s custodian, but that alone does not mean you are the closest to him.」

Mini-Vivi shoots a piercing gaze at Mini-Eleanor.

Normally, a gaze like that would make even a demi-beast cower in fear, but as a little girl, she just looks like she’s pouting.

「I believe if there’s one thing people look for when they sleep, it is comfort~ If that is the case, I think I would inevitably be the most suitable choice~」

Said Mini-Louto.

Eyes closed in an arc, a gentle air about her, and fluffy-looking brown hair.

I wouldn’t say she’s comforting, but it is true that I feel calm when I’m with her.

That’s only limited to when she isn’t going crazy, though.

「Guh… To be able to call yourself comforting… Louto, you’re strong…! I don’t have such strength…but, I will not give up the spot next to Rain!」

Mini-Monana looked frustrated, but she said that with determination.

It appears she has low self-esteem about her appearance, but I think she looks like a lovely woman.

Especially now, the part of her that she’s usually concerned about isn’t there.

「If everyone’s fine with being next to Sir Rain, then I’ll let you all have it. Instead, I’ll take the spot between his legs… Fufufu…」

「I will teleport you to a deserted island, I swear.」

To the side of the grinning Mini-Lejie, Mini-Eleanor retorts in a low voice.

Between my legs…? So her whole body would be under the blanket? Wouldn’t that make it hard to sleep…?

「Gasp! Y-you’re right… No harm should ever come to Sir Rain, even by a slim chance… So, is my plan a failure…?」

「She just admitted that it was her plan all along.」

Their arguing continued on.

I was getting a little sleepy, so I spoke up.

「Uhm, if you can’t decide through discussion, then how about deciding through rock paper scissors?」

Whenever the Swordmaster got a mission that he didn’t want to do, he would propose to play rock paper scissors or do a coin flip to try and push it onto the other Saviors.

They usually ignored him, or when they responded, he’d lose.

If the problem can’t be solved with words, then it’s better to find common ground using other means.

If this was the way of peace, there’d be nothing to say.

Everyone had a gleam in their eyes…at least, that’s what it looked like.

「I knew this would happen, so I prepared a lottery.」

Ferris took out five wooden sticks.

「They are numbered and you may decide where you wish to sleep in descending order. Is this agreeable?」

With this, it’s all based on luck.

But, Mini-Vivi objected.

「Wait a moment. Ferris, I trust you, but the people who will be drawing lots include Lejie, your sister. You are a Majin as well, so I am sure you love your family. Are you able to guarantee that there isn’t the slightest hint of foul play?」

It’s true that Lejie is important to her, although I don’t think that is limited to Ferris.

I can understand why Vivi doesn’t wish to leave any room for doubt precisely because she is taking this seriously.

The part I don’t follow is that the only thing they’re fighting so passionately over is who gets to sleep next to me.

「I shall have Lejie take the last remaining stick.」

「Why yes, there certainly wouldn’t be any foul play if done like that~」

Said Louto as she nodded.

I suppose Lejie knowing which stick had 1 or 2 written on it is the expected foul play here.

To the girls, the spot to my left or right would be considered a jackpot.

「Lejie wasn’t focused on getting Rain’s sides in the first place, so there wasn’t much reason for her to cheat.」

Looks like even Mini-Monana was convinced.

「Since her original choice of between Sir Rain’s legs isn’t possible, it’s only natural she would aim for his sides, right?」

Mini-Eleanor said so, but it appears she isn’t against the idea of the lottery itself.

「I see, I understand, Ferris. I apologize for casting doubt on you.」

「No, Lady Vivi, it is quite alright. Are you fine with this, Lejie?」

「Yeah…but, there is one thing…」

「Which is?」
