🎃Halloween Special Chapter🎃

This chapter's song is: In love with a monster by the fifth harmony!

This specific chapter will be set in the modern world so it will have no relations with the main story plot.

"Mom! I can't find my hat!" I yell.

"It's here silver drop!" Mom yells from in the kitchen. "Honey you look so cute!"

"Really?! Thanks! What do you think dad?" I ask my father who sat on the living room sofa, reading a newspaper in front of the TV. He looks over and I do a twirl to show off the whole look.

"Aren't witches supposed to be more scary and green?" He asks in his usual deadpanned voice.

"No way am I turning myself green! I'm a modern witch! I choose cell phone over bird delivery any day," I say as I adjust my big hat.

"I still don't feel comfortable with you going outside at night on your own..." Mom says.

"I won't be alone, I'll be with Rin and Monique and Violet and..."

"Ace?" My mom finishes.

"Yeah, Ace will be there," I sigh as I roll my eyes.

"Oh, that makes me feel so much better. Ace is such a wonderful boy. And I'm more than certain he'll keep you safe!" My mom beams. I mentally groan. "But I still think that I should call Silver to chaperone you."

"What mom no way! Silver's sooooo annoying! He left me in the store last time you forced me to go with him. I waited for two hours there until he remembered me!" I complain.

"Okay okay, I won't ask Silver," mom giggles as she cuts some apples up. "Remember, curfew is at..."

"10, I know." I hear the bell ring. "That must be them! I gotta go, bye mom, love ya!" I yell as I rush towards the door while hopping to zip my boots up. When I open the door I see Monique and Violet. Violet was dressed in a wonderland-y vibe with cat ears and a tail.

"Are you supposed to be the Cheshire cat?"I ask.

"Correct! I'm the cuter, more stylish Cheshire cat!" Violet says with a grin.

"And you are... Queen of hearts... NO no, you're the joker!" I say.

"Correct again! Perhaps I should've cut down on the red because it does look like I'm the queen of hearts," Monique says, assessing her costume.

(Monique as the joker)

"No it looks fine, where are the others?" I ask.

"I don't know, lemme call her..." Violet says as she takes out her phone from her kitty purse and dials Rin's number.

"Hi, Rin where are you? Mhmm...Mhmm.. Yep... Cool, be there in a few," Violet says before hanging up.

"So...?" Monique asks.

"So Rin and Len got stuck with babysitting duty and the terror twins would rather go trick or treating than go to the Scare Fair," Violet sighs.

"Are you serious?! The Scare Fair only comes on Halloween and there is no way we are missing it!" I say.

"But what about the twins?" Monique asks.

"Doesn't the Fair have an all-you-can-eat sugar fest? We'll let them loose and sooner or later they'll be down for the count and we can enjoy our night," I grin.

"Excellent idea, I'll text Rin the plan and to meet us at the entrance," Violet says as she whips out her phone again. We all made our way to the entrance of the Scare Fair. It looked amazing. There were pumpkin lanterns everywhere and from afar you could see the corn field. All the stalls were orange and black and some were even red.

"Where are they?!" Monique moans impatiently as she taps her foot.

"Speak of the devil and they shall appear," Violet says as she points to four blonde twins making their way towards us.

"Rin, what are you supposed to be?" I ask.

"I'm the Rachel Gardner from Angels of Death! I and Lucas decided to do a matching costume!" Rin says as she shows off her outfit.

"So does this mean that Lucas is going to be Zach?" Monique asks.

"Yup!"

(Allen as a vampire)

"I begged her not to but she refused to change," Allen sighs. Allen was dressed as a vampire with his hair gelled backwards and his cheeks having fake blood dribbling down.

"Why are we here for? You said you were gonna take us trick or treatinggggggggggg!" Alistair whines.

"I wanna go trick or treatingggggggg," Arielle whines as well. Both twins were dressed as werewolves.

"There's a trick or treating buffet inside, you can have all the treats you want," Rin says.

"Fineeee," Arielle grumbles.

"Okay, let's go in!" I say as I grab the twins by their hands and drag them towards the ticket area.

"Four child tickets and don't kids under five go free?" I say. The man was grumpy and buff. You'd never guess he was the one selling tickets.

"That'll be..."

"No need for the cost, you can just take it off the card," I say as I place my dad's credit card down. "I won family game night so this was my reward," I say to the girls.

We waltz into the Fair and immediately, the twins saw the buffet and ran.

"Don't wander off too far and stay at the buffet!" Rin calls out to them.

"Well that's the rugrats sorted, let's have some real fun!" Violet beams as she fist pumps the air.

We decided to go to the food stalls first since we were all hungry and to my surprise, Mason was there.

"Hey Mason, what's up?" Monique asks.

"Nothing much, just enjoying the bomb Halloween limited specials."

"Aren't you always with Ace?" I ask.

"Yeah, we gave been best pals since babies, but this time he's doing something on his own. Something for you I think," Mason says.

(Mason as the Red Knight)

"OOOOH! What is it?!" Violet got all in Mason's face.

"Sorry, can't say," Mason chuckles as he rubs the back of his head. "Hey you should try this pumpkin spice pie, it's fantastic!"

"Ooh, I'd love some!" Rin says as she steps forward, only to be blocked by Len.

"I'll buy you another one, with a separate fork," Len says as he walks off.

"Still the same?" Monique whispers to Violet.

"Still the same," Violet whispers back.

"I'm back," Len says as he comes with a new slice of pie. I roll my eyes at how overprotective he can be even though we live in the 21st century.

"Wow, this really is amazing!" Rin says as she is fed by Len.

"Is it really?" I twirl around to see Lucas standing right next to Rin. When the hell did he come here?!

"Lucas! Yeah, it's really amazing!" Rin says as she snatches the fork and feeds Lucas some. Allen was frozen stiff, still trying to process how Lucas managed to sneak from behind him.

Lucas was wrapped in bandages with a huge scythe.

"Where'd you even get that scythe?" I ask, there's no way a scythe this big would get past the sumo ticket seller.

"You don't need to know about that do you?" Lucas says nonchalantly as he goes back to being fed by Rin.

"You have hands don't you, feed yourself," Len snarls.

"Both hands are occupied," Lucas replies, showing one hand holding his scythe and the other in his pocket.

"Just leave it man, you can't get in between them," Mason sighs as he beholds the spectacle.

"Watch me," Len says boldly.

"Psst, let's ditch the bodyguard and go apple bobbing," Monique whispers into my ear. I nod and we sneak away, leaving Len and Lucas to fight it out.

Apple bobbling was very competitive. I sigh as I just left one fight only to witness another.

"You think you can beat me?" Aiden smirks as he faces Monique.

"Think? I know I can."

"Oh yeah, don't go crying when you're eating dust, princess."

"Princess? I'm a queen." Monique scoffs.

"We'll see princess," Aiden says as they both get ready to compete.

(Aiden as Sherlock Holmes minus the Cigar, don't smoke kids)

"Okay then," I say. I was stuck being the referee, "on your marks, get set, Go!" I yell. Both heads submerged in the water started picking up apples like crazy, spraying water everywhere. One big splash came from Aiden which sprayed all over my skirt.

"Are you serious?!" I yell as I try to use my big hat to dry my skirt off. I walk off, cursing them under my breath until I reach the pumpkin patch.

"Annoying idiots," I mumble as I place my hat back onto my head and look around. I was lost. "So much for a night of terror," I mutter as I scan around to see any landmarks. I see a big Boulder and climb it in hopes of seeing a way back to my friends. The boulder was slippery but I managed to climb on and look around.

"You're going to fall," I hear a voice say. The voice startled me and I slipped, now falling and screaming but instead of falling down on a bunch of dirt, I fell on something softer.

"What the-" I start.

"If your done screaming, you could get off. I mean, I have no problems with this but I'm sure you might," I heard the voice say again. Don't tell me...

"Ace?!" I gasp as I look up to see Ace's usual smile as I scramble to get off of him.

"The one and only," Ace said as he got up. Ace was dressed as an angel with a skull.

(Ace as the Angel of Death)

"Why are you loitering around in the pumpkin patch?"

"Well it was supposed to be a surprise but it seems fate has other plans," Ace said as he looks to his right. I follow his gaze to the picnic mat set with food and pumpkin cakes and caramel apples.

"Wait... What's this for?" I ask.

"Can't a guy do something special for his closest childhood friend?" Ace shrugged.

"I should be cautious... But you prepared red velvet cupcakes so I'll just be ignorant," I say as I walk over to the picnic.

"After you," Ace says as I sit down.

"I could get used to this," I say.

"This is disgusting," I turn my head over to see a pair of twins staring at us with wrappers everywhere.

"What are you two doing here?" I ask as I see Alistair and Aristella now sitting on a pumpkin.

"The buffet was amazing but it ran out too fast..." Alistair started.

"So we decided to look for some more treats..." Aristella added.

"And we came across this big scarecrow filled with all of our favourite candies and sweets..." Alistair continued.

"So we took it and then some old geezer was chasing us..." Aristella put another liquorice in her mouth.

"And we somehow ended up here..." Alistair took his lollipop out of his mouth.

"And now we're judging you on how indecent you're being in a public place," Aristella finished.

"That's somehow creepy on you two finishing each other's sentence," I say.

"What on earth," Arielle starts.

"Do you mean?" Alistair finishes as they both look at each other.

"Hey kids, how about some cupcakes?" Ace offers to the twins.

"This is why we like you the most Ace," Aristella says as she takes the cakes.

"If only you could be interested in our sister," Alastair says as he takes a bite.

"I'm pretty sure your sister already has someone," Ace chuckles.

"Yeah I like Lucas, he takes us to karate classes," Aristella says as she sits down.

"Karate classes?" I repeat.

"Mmhmm, Lucas says it's important for us to know how to defend ourselves," Alistair answers.

"Wait... If you're here, then how are Rin and Len gonna react when they don't see you two at the buffet..." Ace says.

I gasp at the realisation and grab Aristella and pick her up.

"Hey what are you doing?!" Alistair cries out as he is also picked up by Ace and we run to the fair. When we got there, Rin, Len, Mason, Aiden, Niki, Violet and Lucas were calling out for the twins.

"They're here!" I yell out which grabs everyone's attention.

"Al! Ari!" Rin yells as she runs to us. "Where have you been?!"

"We were with Sylvia and Ace," Aristella answers.

"We were having cupcakes," Alistair adds.

"Don't ever run off like that okay, you had us worried," Allen scolds the twins as he picks Alistair up from Ace.

"We won't," the twins answer at the same time.

"OMG, this is totally the best selfie scenario, everybody say Happy Halloween!" Violet squeals as she takes out her selfie stick.

We all huddled up near the biggest pumpkin we could find with Mason, Aiden and Monique in the back, Lucas, Rin and Len in the middle with Rin and Len holding the twins and me, Ace and Violet in the front.

"One..." Alistair counts

"Two..." Aristella counts.

"Three!" They both say at the same time.

"Happy Halloween!!!" We all smile and Violet takes the picture.
