Sylvia's POV:

Something's weird. And I don't mean, I got reincarnated as the villainess's of an Otome game weird, I just mean weird. It could be due to the fact that the Royal debutante is literally in two days... Or it could be because there is an entire squad in my fricking backyard. And all the soldiers are staring at me from my balcony while I'm trying not to notice. Yup, I think that's the weird thing that's bugging me. It's not like I can just shut the curtains in their faces, so I just pretend not to notice them and drink my tea.

(Sylvia with a teacup instead of a camera)

"Lovely book you're reading," Astro says as she appears on my bed.

"And lovely men you're trying not to stare at," Luna says.

"Have a nice time with twilight?" I ask as I turn the page.

"It's always so quiet with her, she rarely ever talks," Luna yawns as she rolls over. "So what's with the soldiers?"

"My father is talking to the Royal minister of defence, but he also promised his son that he'd be able to lead the troops today, so my father just said to bring the troops here," I say.

"I'm not sure your fiancée will approve of the mini army gawking at you," Astro says.

"Well good thing he's not here, but since you guys ARE here, why not help me eavesdrop on why they're staring at me. And remember to make yourselves invisible," I order, not looking up from my book.

"It's your turn mutt, I'll stay here and convey the message," Luna says. Astro grumbles as he flops off the bed and jumps down to the men. Luna starts clearing her throat as she starts speaking in different male voices.

"Man, the young lady of Scilla, is breathtaking!"

"She's a ten in my books!"

"The way she reads is so calming!"

"That prince is lucky to have a gal like her!" I blush at all the different remarks said.

"Hey, she looks a little hot, doesn't she?"

"Hot? She's smoking!... Ow! Why'd you hit me!"

"Why wouldn't I hit you when you're hitting on a 14-year-old you old lecher!"

"Old?! I'm 18!"

"She's too good for you, she's the only daughter of the dukedom of Scilla as well as the fiancée of the crown prince and future queen. Not to mention she's pretty, smart, powerful and has a multi BILLION gold company which supplies the royal family themselves, you being with her is just a dream!"

"Way to crush my heart like that..."

"... Is what they said, wow master, you're veeeeryyyy popular with the boys," Luna purrs which I try to ignore but still book her on the head.

"Alright, that's enough!" Luna speaks again in a deep male voice that I've never heard before.

"Yes, captain!" Luna announces in different male voices compiled together.

"What the hell were you all staring at so much that you weren't training?!"

"The captain is staring at you~~~" Luna informed me as she carried on relaying the message.

"You fools really are hopeless, to be staring at some girl like that only shows how weak your concentration is!" Excuse me! Some girl? I'm the fricking lady whose house you're having your practice in!

"Everyone is to do 50 laps around the mansion, and if I see you stop then I'll add 50 more!" The captain commands which is met by a yes sir before I hear footsteps.

There was silence for a few minutes before Luna screams to me to duck and pulls me under the chair. I scream in fright as I hear explosions in my room which made everything topple over and burn.

(the room go kaboom)

"What the hell?!" Astro yells as he appears in front of me, pulling a barrier over my head. Once the explosion was over, I bolted out of hiding and looked outside, only to see the captain fighting against masked figures in blue clothing. My bedroom was now on fire, and the smoke was getting to me. I stepped away from the fire and ran to the balcony.

It's been a while since I've experienced an attempted assassination...

"Astro, Luna, beast forms, now!" I yell as I see my familiars cuddle up in smoke and reemerge as a white wolf and black panther twice my size. I climb into Astro and hold on.

"Get me out of here!" I yell as Astro jumps out of the balcony and onto the backyard. The masked figures all had normal weapons which was already an advantage even though we were outnumbered.

"What the hell are you doing girl?! Get back inside!" The captain yells at me as he fights off three men at once.

"I'm not one of your soldiers, you can't order me around!" I shoot back as I climb off. The masked figures took one look at me and nodded to each other before charging.

Ten of the men were crushed and slashed by Luna while Astro was ripping apart the others. It was quite a violent scene, but I couldn't really pity them since they tried to bomb me up.

"What in god's name..." The captain said, shocked at the view of two beasts ripping apart the enemy.

"I hope you understand that if you speak of this secret, you will be targeted," I say as I summon an ice barrier to cover the wounded soldiers. Then, I create an ice bow and arrows, with the arrows being red at the end due to the fusion of my fire and ice magic. I start shooting arrow after arrow. The arrow would pierce the men, causing them to freeze to death while also making them feel like they were on fire.

"On your feet men! Fight to honour the name!" The captain ordered as he was met again with yes sir. I look around and see all the figures being fought off, which gave me a sigh of relief before I realise something... My parents! Astro was still helping the soldiers, so I whistled for Luna to come.

"To my parents!" I command as I climb on. Luna ran at full speed, jumping onto the roof and slipping in between the walls to the lounge room. As I come closer, I can hear struggles and screams.

I burst open the door and see my father protecting my mother and the minister of defence, AKA Mason's father.

"Sylvia!" My mom screams at me in both relief and fear. The men turned around to me and started shaking a little as they saw Luna in her beast form.

"Luna, only five survivors allowed," I say as I let her loose. The lounge was an open area that connected to the garden where I could see at least fifty more men attacking the servants and burning the place. This isn't an assassination; they want to massacre all of us whether we're noble or not.

I saw Lillian being apprehended by a masked man, and I shot his arm with my arrow. He flopped to the floor like a fish and screamed in agony.

"Run everyone! Getaway!" I scream to the soldiers, who scrambled to their feet to escape. I threw arrows at anyone who tried to follow them.

"Silverdrop!" My father yelled at me as a warning. In the corner of my eye, I saw three men trying to attack me from behind, so I took three arrows and shot them all at once.

"M'lady, get back!" Mason's father said as he charged straight into the assassins. My mother ran to me, only to be dragged back by a man who was wearing the same clothes as the attackers, yet his aura told me that he was the boss.

Before I had time to think, he took my mother and disappeared outside. No... Not disappeared... He ran outside at the speed of sound. My father called out for my mother but still had to fight off the incomers. I was livid at how some random people broke into my house and took my mother.

"Luna!" I called. Luna immediately stopped what she was doing and picked up, where we pursued the kidnapper.

"Get back here!" I screamed at the kidnapper as Luna picked up the pace. Pretty soon, she found his scent, and we were on the roof of the mansion where my mother was struggling against the man.

"Let her go!" I screamed as I sent ice shards and fireballs at the guy as a distraction. The distraction worked perfectly because while he was busy avoiding the attacks, he let go of my mother, who was pushed off the roof. Luna went after my mother while I used my magic to morph the person's shadow to tie him up.

"Do you know how furious I am? I wish I could curse at you, but I fear my mother would come back up just to scold me, but I'm really mad..." I say as I used his shadow to create mini spikes to dig into him.

"Why did you attack us?" I interrogate.

The man was silent as he stared at me. I made the spikes dig deeper, which caused the man to spit out some blood, but he was still staring at me... Or behind me. I turn back only to be blown in the face with a mysterious powder. I coughed as the powder invaded my lungs.

Soon after, my head became dizzy, and I started to get drowsy. As I fell to the floor, I saw the masked man coming toward me. I felt him pick me up, and I couldn't do anything because of the tiredness. Soon after, I blacked out...
