Silver Pt 2
The heroic villainess
This chapter's song is: stick together nightcore version!
Narrator's POV:
It was two days into the training programme, lunch time. Here, Silver was walking around the dining room, looking for a place to sit. The other boys had already formed groups so it was hard to find someone to sit by.
As he was desperately looking around for a seat, his voice was called from the other side of the room.
"Hey grey eyes! Over here!" The voice yelled. Silver looked back to see a boy his age waving at him.
Silver walked over to the boy. He had brown hair and eyes, very normal. Next to him was a blonde haired boy who had arrogance tattood on his face.
"You looked lost over there. Didn't find anywhere to sit did ya?" the brunette said. Silver nodded hesitantly. That only made the boy smile. "Well you can sit here! I'm Rudy! This sourpuss over here is Will!"
"Don't speak my name with that lowly mouth of yours! And what a lowly nickname! I'm William! William Spidel Collin Diamade! Heir to the Diamade mine company!" the blonde haired boy exclaimed.
"OK ok whatever smoothes your wrinkles Will, anyways, what's your name? You look like a Corbynn or a Kol..."
"My name is Silver."
"Ooh, how cliche considering your silver eyes," William smirked, only to receive a whack from Rudy.
"Don't be so mean Will! This is why you're a loner!"
"Ow! How dare you call me a-"
"Here have some bread, you look like you need it," Rudy says as he shoves a loaf into William's mouth.
"Mff!"
"Sorry about him, he's a bit sharp with his words. Course he doesn't mean it, but what can you do when you've been pampered all your life," Rudy says.
"You speak very weird for a noble..." Silver comments as he sits down.
"Oh? Yeah, it's cuz I'm not really a noble. I guess I am per say, since me mother married a noble. But meh, who cares about the who hows. I'm a noble now, just taking my time acting the part y'know? You've not got anything against people like me have ya?"
"Not at all. I'm glad to be of your acquaintance," Silver says as he holds out his hands.
"Yeah! Me too!" Rudy says as he shakes it. William also shakes it after a moment too.
"So, what's your full name?" William asks.
"Full name? Why'd you need to know something like that?" Rudy asks, swallowing some soup.
"You moron, it's to know how to talk to them. Noble etiquette! I explained this to you before!"
"Oh yeah, that thing where you have to speak more polite to bigwigs and that? Silver don't look like a bigwig," Rudy says.
"Don't judge a person so soon! Use your brain for once!" William yells.
"Okay jeez! So Silver, what's your name?"
"My name is Silver Armada Argent Scilla."
"Scilla? Now where have I heard that fro-" William grabbed Rudy's head and banged it into the table along with his own. This started Silver.
"Ow! What the hell was that for?!" Rudy yells.
"Shut up! This is the next Duke Scilla you know," William whispers.
"Hah?! Grey eyes over here?!"
"Don't be so disrespectful! He's from one of the four Dukedoms of the country! Both of our family's lands are in his!"
"Wha- is his family really that huge?!"
"Of course they are! Now pay your respects! We're sorry for our impolitness thus far, please forgive us!"
"No, it's fine. It's not like status matters here anyways, we're all here to learn under teacher," Silver says.
"See, if Silver's okay with it then we should be too! Let's get along then! Bonzai!" Rudy yells with enthusiasm as he jumps up from his seat.
"Sit down you idiot! You're embarrassing me!" William yells as he pulls on Rudy's clothes.. Silver's face reddened from the shock of these two new personalities. However a little smile emerged as he could feel that these three months will be full of fun...
"Oof."
"Get back up boy! You can't fall in battle!" The teacher yells. William groans as he rubs his sore back.
"Are you okay? Sorry if I was too aggressive," Silver says as he lends a hand.
"No problem, its my fault that I allowed myself to get hit by you," William grabbed the hand and lifted himself up.
Right now, the boys were sparring with each other. Silver and William got paired up while Rudy was paired with someone else.
"Damn these training lessons are hard," William complains.
"Less chatting and more fighting! We're not hosting a tea party!" The teacher yells.
"Come on, let's do one more round," Silver smiles as he gets in position, his wooden sword in his hand. William sighs as he gets into position before continuing the fight.
By the time they were done with sparring, both kids were gasping for breath.
"This training is hell," William complains.
"It's not that bad. Look, Rudy is enjoying himself," Silver points to him. Rudy was easily fighting against another boy. His grin shone in the sun as he knocks the sword out of his opponent's hand.
"That's your defeat, good game," Rudy says as he holds out his hand. The boy on the floor clicks his tongue before stomping away, slapping away Rudy's hand. "Damn, what's his problem?"
"Rudy! Over here!" Silver shouts as he waves. Rudy smiles as he runs towards the boys, sitting down as soon as he gets there.
"Yo, you guys taking a break?"
"Yeah, I don't think I can do anymore training in this sun," William says.
"You looked cool back then. Were you always good with the sword?" Silver asks.
"Nope not really. I just did a lot of heavy lifting before, so the sword feels really light to me. I just swing it the way the teach showed us and bam!"
"What's bam?" Silver asks.
"Hmm... How do I explain this in rich, sheltered boy? It's basically when you are trying to explain something super amazing happening as if you can't find the words so you create a sound. Like an explosion!" He explains using hand gestures.
"Wow, that sounds cool!"
"It is!" Suddenly a wooden sword flew past the boys and embedded itself into the brick wall being them, letting off a bit of steam. The boys looked towards the teacher, who as still in his throwing position.
"The next one will go through your heads if you don't get up right now!" he yells. All the boys stood up and got back to position, trying not to look at the still-steaming wooden sword.
"Tsk, children," he says. Behind the pairs, there were a group of noble boys who glared at one pair in particular...
