Chapter 79

Rillaine and Lucas

The heroic villainess

"Do you really mean that?"

My head shot up as I looked at the silhouetted figure in the balcony, behind the swaying curtains. My mind went blank before the cold touch of the wind brought me back.

"Lucas?!"

"If you didn't mean it then I'll leave-"

"No, dont! I mean, you can stay," I say, fixing my hair.

"I didn't expect to announce my presence here, I know you wanted space."

"No! I mean yes but no! I mean... ugh I don't know what I mean."

"Well start with what you do know."

"I know I like you. I really like you. But I'm ashamed..."

"Of what?"

"Of you liking me. Changing yourself for me to like you. I don't want to be the person who you change your personality for just to match mine. The you that you show me is charming, caring, always calm and content. That's no more than a doll. I want to see the sad you, the angry you."

"I never want you to see the angry me."

"I want to see you. I don't care about the fake personas or the pleasantries. I'm going to marry you, for God's sake. I don't want to be a pain for you in the case that you constantly have to pretend."

"Then will you accept me?" Lucas says darkly.

"Huh?" Suddenly, Lucas pushes me down onto the mattress, his leg locking mine into place as he holds my arms above me. His eyes shone a blood red as he gazed down at me, his glare covering every inch of my body.

"There is so much I don't show to you, Rillaine. So many different types of me. Can you accept it all? The manipulative me? The scary me? The lustful me?" His body moved closer toward me yet he stayed away, awaiting an answer.

"I will accept whatever you decided to give me. So long as it is you, and nothing except you." Those eyes softened, yet still illuminated the beauty spot on his left eye. Slowly, he descended onto me.

This kiss was unlike anything before. I opened my mouth briefly and he immediately went in. I was shocked, but not repulsed. His grip naturally loosened on me as his hand slid around my waist and behind my head, pulling me closer. My arms held him.

I don't know how long we spent, but he explored every crevice of my mouth. Suddenly, a knock came at the door.

"My lady, I've brought up some hot milk for you. Two spoons of honey, just as you like it."

"Two spoons? No wonder your mouth tastes so sweet," Lucas says. I tried to gently push him off, my arm raised in the direction of the door.

"Just... a min...ute," I breath out.

"My lady, are you okay? You sound out of breath?"

"Oh no... I'm fine... Would you stop?!" I whisper shout as I cover his mouth.

"Please leave it outside. I'm currently dressing!"

"But I already helped you dress?" He was now licking my hand, flaring up my cheeks.

"It's you know, a late-night try-on! I simply wished to dress up and it's immensely untidy. I'm so embarrassed. Please leave it outside!"

"As you wish my lady. If you need any help, you can just ring for me."

"Will do!" I turn to the red-eyed beast as he looks up at me.

"You incorrigible man! I told you to stop!" I burst into fury.

"I don't know whether that red blush is out of anger or satisfaction," he says as he pulls closer to my face again. Despite my outburst, we continued that until midnight. He had teleported the milk in and decided to play a game where he fed me through his mouth.

I don't know why but I couldn't refuse him, neither could I say I didn't enjoy it. In the end, he tuckered me out. He used his magic to tuck me into bed, before kissing me on my forehead and disappearing into the night. I couldn't go sleep until sunrise that day.

Curse him... I hope he gets home safely...

This was just a deeper insight into Rin and Lucas' ship. I believe there is some more room for growth but the next couple I'll be working on is Monique's alongside Sylvia's and possibly to think of one for Mason.

Which type of girl do you think would suit Mason?
