Chapter 12: A new bestfriend?
Switching to brothers
So I have been here for about a week, maybe a day less. Tomorrow I start school. I hate school, but then again, doesn't everybody?
I mean I'm good at it but I don't like it. My best subject is social studies. It's like a mix between history and geography.
I've been in my room, reading, all day, preparing myself for school. I don't even know why I'm so nervous. I wasn't nervous with my old school. Maybe it's because my brothers are here. Then again I'm always nervous.
By noon I get hungry (I know, I'm surprised too) and head downstairs.
I walk up to the kitchen island and try to reach some cabinets. I'm not that short for a fourteen year old. I'm 5'3. To some that may seem tall but I promise you with my parents height by this age I'm supposed to be at least 5'5. All my brothers are freaking giants.
I finally get a granola bar out. I look in the fridge to see if we have anything else and I see the best thing ever. Hideaway Pizza! I love this so so so much. I've only had it about three times but I don't care, it's still amazing.
I'm about to head to my room with my food then stop and remember about that big tree across the pond. My book is still upstairs so I head up there and get it. I still need to gather up some courage to ask Luke to build me a treehouse.
I head over toward the tree and sit under it. As I'm eating my food I hear laughter and see Jesse and Ian playing 1v1 in basketball with a laughing James on the bench, dripping with sweat. I can't help but stare at Ian. The way is muscle are flexing every time the ball it's the ground. My gawking at him is put on hold when I hear someone sit beside me.
"Ahhhh, he's very nice looking, no?" I whip my head around to see a blonde woman with beautiful brown hazelnut coffee eyes.
"Uh, I-I wasn't" I get cut off by her laughing.
"Oh darling I'm just messing with you" she's says airy. "But he is very cute. I can see why you were looking at him like that" she continued.
My mouth is agape at her. Did-I- I am so confused right now. Can I trust her? I mean for some weird reason I feel comfort in her.
"Oh my where are my manners," she sticks her hand out, "my name is Sasha. I'm one of your brothers-"
"Girlfriend?" I cut her off.
She blushes slightly, "Yeah" she sheepishly says.
"I know. I've heard about you" I clarify.
"All good things I hope?" She asks raising an eyebrow.
"Of course they are," she lets out a sigh of relief.
We start to talk about stuff. Good stuff, bad stuff, boy stuff. She really knows how to make a joke. It's crazy how beautiful she is. I've come to the conclusion that she is my new best friend.
"So let me get this straight. You, a kind beautiful, amazing, smart woman, is dating Caden?! I mean no offense to my brother or anything but why? He's so, so, so eugh and you're all, ahh." I say with a high pitched voice. "How on earth did you two meet?"
"Thank you for the compliments. Well to answer your first question, I don't know. He just seemed so grumpy and closed off and I am one curious girl so I had to pry him open. That resulted into us dating. And to answer your second question, we met at collage. We went to Harvard Law together." She explains.
I'm still in doubt that Caden could snatch this Goddess.
We get up and head towards the inside of the house. Once we get in I see Caden sitting at the island talking to Zack. They hear the door close and look over. Zack starts to smirk when he sees them look at each other. I take that as a cue to head over to Zack.
He whispers "come on, let's let the love birds have their reunion" in my ear. I look up at him and still see the smirk on his face. I follow him to the movie room and we sit down and pick out a movie.
"So Chica whah movie do you want to watch?" Zack asks.
"Ummm how about Titanic?" I say. Zack gives me a ridiculous look but once he sees my eyes he drops his head down in defeat.
In the parts where Jack is drawing her naked and when they are in the car having the time of their lives, Zack covers my face. I want to tell him I've seen much worse but decide against it.
We finish the movie and I'm not going to lie, I cried a little when Jack fell off of the door.
"I can't believe she just let him do that!," I look over at Zack, "There was totally so much room on the door for him!" I look over at him with my eyes narrowed in a questioning way. He repeats my actions and we both burst out laughing. I don't know how long it's been since I have had a genuine laugh and not just a little chuckle.
We talk about the movie all the way to the kitchen. Huh. It seems like the kitchen is our meeting place for everything. Well I'm not going to complain. I love being in the kitchen. It makes me feel free.
Idk if other states have Hideaway Pizza and it's just Oklahoma but let me tell you it is AMAZING! Okay but why was that part with Zack and Lidia so cute? Like I'm the author and I was fawning over it. Do you guys like Sasha? Well as always I hope you like it and don't forget to vote, comment and obviously like :)
