It was my first day back to school I was kind of happy to get out the house since my mom was keeping me in

I'm so tired of her and my step father they abuse me and abuse drugs that my step dad has

He is a king pin in Chicago known as Ace he brought everything bad into our home my mom was never like this

when my dad was here all I could remember was happiness then he went to jail when I was 6

He got out but never spoke to me when he did I used to write him and talk to him and it all stopped

I grew up being abused by my mother and I looked for comfort finding it in Dijour he was always there

I would sometimes stay with him when stuff got bad his parents loved me and adored me as one of their own

Even though his mother thinks we date I find it funny but it's ok I don't sweat it

I was in the shower as I washed up hearing Jhene Aiko play as I washed up until I felt clean

I got out walking to my room as I put on lotion and got dressed putting on the matching perfume

It was now 8:40 and I had class at 9:30 I went downstairs ate some waffles and bacon I came upstairs

Washed my face and did my hair and seen Dijour text me saying he would be here in 5 minutes

I grabbed my things and headed out hurrying to avoid my mother and her abusive ways

As I walked to Dijour car he was on his phone I got in making him look up he licked his lips as he started to drive off

I never would think that Dijour would like me so I brushed it off as we pulled up to the school he parked and looked at me

"we do this everyday let me see" he said I pulled up my sleeve to show him the cuts and there weren't any new ones

he let me out the car as he got out after walking me to class, "ok bye thank you" I said hugging him "Ight" he said

I walked into my first period which was World History I didn't like the teacher so I quietly went to my seat

"Well hello Mrs.Jackson" Mr.Kay. said to me " hi" I said as I sat down getting on my phone until class fully started

we had a project and he paired me with Jessica

he knew she bullied me all the time just because she liked Dijour

I never did anything to her she was super popular and just loved to pick on me no matter what..

I huffed as she moved to my table and we worked in complete silence "so you gone just be quiet bones" she said calling me the name I hated

She has been picking on me since she got to this school I hated it here and I was happy to graduate in a few months

I turn 18 soon and I have been saving up to get the fuck out my mothers home I have a small business and I tag along with Dijour sometimes

I liked to be with him I felt safe even with his drops... and we are always close and nothing has ever came between us not even his girlfriend

She is very jealous sometimes when I do nothing but I won't say anything because I'm to shy I just let her run over me like anyone else

I don't like how I am I want to change it and I am soon people won't bully me just wait

school was just over and I walked outside and sat down on my phone when Jessica and her crew came up to me

"Hey bones how you been" she said lightly hitting me "move Jessica I'm not in the mood" I spat at her

I really was just about to beat her ass and have Dijour take me home I didn't care at this point

I can fight I just don't because nobody has ever got me to that point but her I'm fucking fed up with she is ignorant as fuck

"Aww I'm sorry bones" she said now gaining a crowd because she knocked my phone down

I picked up my phone to see it cracked I instantly got up and tied my hair back as I dropped all my things

she stepped back as a circle formed around us she looked over to see her friends gone when she looked at me I punched her in the face

She was taller than me but I don't care I will beat a bitch that's taller than Dijour idgaf about that

She tried to pull my hair but I punched her in the stomach and face again as she fell I got on top of her and just let out all my anger on her

when my dad left, my mom constantly beating me,held in the house, my mom not caring about me..

I beat her and didn't stop when I seen blood people were recording but I didn't care I got up stomping her face as she cried for me to stop

her cries made me even more mad because she been bullying me for about 2 years so dont cry take it so i stomped harder

I felt myself get pulled off of her seeing blood and her crying, then seeing Dijour was the one carrying me I calmed down knowing he was gonna yell at me

he carried me to the car I looked in the back to see all my stuff there "you got anything to say before I do" he said "nope" I sat back and smiled

"So why you beat her ass like that man she could press charges" he said to me " because the bitch been bullying me since she came here and she started the shit to she can't press no charges" I said as he pulled off

We were going to the trap but I asked him to take me to get a new phone I didn't care for the old one anyways I went in and came out with a iPhone 11 and Airpod Pros

As we headed to the trap I set it up and we were at the trap when I looked up, he opened my door and I got out closing it after myself

"Wsg hoes" I said as I walked in and was greeted by smoke i seen Dee and Kay smoking

They gave me a head nod as I sat down they got on there phones then looked up at me like they seen a ghost

"What niggas" I spat "yoooo why you beat her ass like that" Dee laughed "because she tried me" I said as I shrugged and got on my phone

Dijour was upstairs so that's where I went he was on the phone when I came in so I just sat quietly

He looked so concentrated it was cute... wait wtf nooo I can't catch feeling I gotta chill he has a girlfriend

"Come on lemme take you home" he said "hoemygawd I hate that place" I said as I hugged and stood up

"Bye Favs" I said walking out the door

I never told people my personal life besides Dijour and his mom they were just so welcoming

We pulled up to the gas station as we got out I walked to the back of the store getting two Arizona's and two snickers

Coming back seeing Dijour waiting for me he payed for my stuff "thanks" I said as we walked out the door

he got gas and we left as he pulled up to my house I got out and grabbed my things " call me later iont playing" he said

I nodded and then went into the house it was quiet so I'm guessing nobody was here yet "yess" I said to myself

knowing I had the home to myself was just great and I didn't have to walk around in fear I just wonder where my mom is...

I went and did my homework as I got in the shower hearing my mom come home i washed up a few times getting out and putting on lotion

I wore a tank top and some biker shorts as I walked downstairs to see her drinking "come here Serenity" she slurred "yes" I said slightly scared

I walked over to her "where the fuck did you get that from" she said pointing at my phone "the store" I said in a duh tone

"SO YOU REALLY GONE DO SHIT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION YOU LIVE WITH ME YOU DO AS I SAY" she yelled "see no im not about to sit here and be yelled at I'm about to be 18 in two months I'm not dealings with you anymore bye" I said calmly

It was about 10 pm so I called Dijour

"yes" he said in a raspy voice

𝗳𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹..

"uhm can you come get me in like a hour and can I stay with you" I said getting quiet "mhm yea" he shuffled around putting his face in the camera

𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲

"ok thanks I'll text u" I said hanging up I immediately grabbed every bag I had and packed everything I could

I had almost everything in bags as Dijour said he was 10 minutes away I packed my last bag

I went into the bathroom seeing a pill bottle I wanted to take some but I just can't do this rn I want to leave healthy...

𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁.

and with that I went to the bottle and took 4 pills Dijour soon came I heard them talking

"where is she at" he said "the bitch upstairs" she spat

I tried to make my way to him as my vision got blurry and i felt my balance go away

"she not a bitch" I heard faintly as I fell and passed out

i woke up in an all white room and i didnt feel any pain i seen my grandma and i ran to hug her

"baby you cant do this you have to stop ok i dont want you here for good when its not time" she said hugging me

i nodded my head as i let her go

"now look down there baby" she said

i turned my head to see Dijour sitting over my now numb body as he held me and talked to me

he dropped tears and just held me "Serenity stay with me i-i cant loose you... i love you" he said as the ambulance arrived

i turned to my grandma and she told me to stay strong and stop running to drugs and suicide for my problems when i could tell Dijour

i nodded as she slowly faded away and i felt myself go into a deep dark state of mind and i felt nothing
