Epilogue II. Birth-Daze

Nova

*Two Years and Six Months Later*

Staring out at the lake, the sun shining on the water, making it seem as if it were sparkling. Sighing in happiness, my gaze drifted to the waterfall beyond the south wall of the lake.

There were many memories from behind that curtain of water.. not just Zaryn and I mating for the first time, but the night of our engagement as well, along with many, many other secret getaways when we had wanted to be alone with each other in the past two years since the birth of the twins.

My life has been so complete.

I have my wonderful, handsome and doting mate. My beautiful twin males. My pack. My friends and family.

Life is good.

I felt a warm presence like heat from the sun, shining on my skin starting at my bare calves. The warmth traveled up the back of my legs and thighs through the knee length flowing dress. I closed my eyes as a smile spread on my lips and large strong arms wrapped around my waist.

My mate.

He rested his hands on my very pregnant belly, his face ducking down to plant a kiss at the mark on the side of my neck which sent chills down my spine and that now familiar electric current inside my chest radiated to run through Zaryn's body and he groaned, breathing in my scent.

"How's my two females doing?" He rasped in a low tone, pressing himself into my rear, showing me the affect the sensations my electric currents had on him when we were touching affectionately. The same affect they had on me. "And why are you all the way over here anyway?" He wondered.

I sighed once more and turned in his arms, smiling as I gazed up into his blue depthless eyes that went on forever. "I was just thinking. About how happy I am. Annnnd... I may have been remembering our first few waterfall incidents." I bit my lip, winking at him as lust overcame the bond... from his side.

Pregnancy had my hormones out of whack again and somehow, instead of not wanting to be intitmate as much as I had during the first pregnancy, this time, I was always on.

Yes. We were having out third pup. A girl.. due anyday now.

She was powerful, too. Like the twins had been when they were growing inside me. Only this pups power seemed to be of love and happiness. I felt a lot of the both of those emotions this time around. Her little powerful jolts always kept me happy, along with Zaryn who has been so amazing with helping out with the twins and making sure I'm not going crazy.

"Hmm, which waterfall incident.." He mused with a knowing smirk. We have had many waterfall incidents since the night of our engagements.

I shook my head as I laughed. "The one that comes to mind is that one time you brought all that fruit and whipped cream..."

His brows shot up and a smirk formed as he leaned down, nipping my mark one last time. "hmm, how about after the party-"

"Nope!" I shook my head, walking away from him with a playful smirk. He caught my wrist, pulling me into his chest with a pout on his face.

"And why not?" He stuck his lip out, his mind sending explicit images into my mind.

Scoffing, I smacked him on the chest. "Because I don't feel necessarily sexy with this in the way." I motioned down between us where my huge belly stood inbetween of our bodies pressing together. "And we have lots of things to do this evening. Like get the crib set up.. put the pups toys in their room and-"

Zaryn sighed, cutting me off as he grabbed my cheeks and kissed me on the lips. "Okay okay woman jeez." He chuckled, taking my hand. "let's go."

We walked back up to the pack house from the shore and what I saw had me laughing hysterically. Both Blake and my Dad had shifted into their wolf forms and were riding the twins on their backs. The wolves were playing with each other, feigning attack while my males were screaming out with laughter. They did this all the time and it never seemed to get old.

The pack were standing around watching, laughing and smiling at the scene before them.

My two males. Already turning two! It seemed like just yesterday I was going into labor and Zaryn was about to have a panic attack with how scared he was. I should have been the nervous one since I discovered epidurals don't work on me but no, Zaryn trembled like a scared little pup.

Leave it to giving birth to scare a big bad Alpha male.

The twins had put me through a lot of pain that day with fourteen hours of labor. But like they say, as soon as you have them in your arms, you don't even remember the pain. It's true.

Zaryn and I had chosen the most perfect names for our sons. Unusual names but perfect nonetheless.

Our first born male, we decided on Acedon. Ace for short, which since he was born first made a great nick name for him. And also because Acedon is an anagram for Deacon. We decided to go with anagrams of our fallen friends.

Our other male, we named Drácon. Drác for short, like Drake. It was an anagram for Conrad's name. It was also a dedication to the moon, as Dráco is a constellation. I think it did them both justice. Ace and Drc. My powerful twin males.

I breathed out a sigh as I watched the boys yip and pretend to howl on the back of their grandfathers, wondering what powers they will inherit when they shift into their wolf. Zaryn and I had wondered this for quite some time.

When I was pregnant with them, they channeled their power to me to protect me, but we haven't seen anything since then except little things here and there. When they shift, that's when it will all come out.

Ace was more like me. He was quiet and always watching ... taking things in. He's a sweet boy and he really looks up to Zaryn, Always listening to what he has to say.. always wanting to go along with him wherever he goes but he is always comes back to his mama for hugs and cuddles, which I love, but when Ace was angry, he would put on this face that would frighten even the strongest wolf. Definitely that first born Alpha blood running through him. He was quiet when he was mad and wouldn't say a word but once when I left him to himself after getting angry at Drác for breaking his toy, I found him in their room, throwing toys around everywhere to alleviate his anger. The quiet types are always like that..

Drác was more vocal in anything and everything. Very social just like Zaryn. He loved attention and would always follow me anywhere and everywhere. He was my wild child. He loved to laugh and I could see him being a class clown. Drác has a sneaky side though.. but a good heart. He doesn't like to see anyone upset. And he will use his charm to get what he wants.

The one thing I have seen about the twins, power wise, is that together? If they want something? They will get it. It's almost like when they work together, they have the power of manipulation. It was almost scary.

It would take a while for their personalities to develop more but they were already coming into their own. I knew one day Ace would be the one to take over the pack for Zaryn and Drác, well he would be mated to an Alpha blooded female. Hopefully one without any brothers so Drác could have his own pack like what happened with Nic but... I don't see Drác actually wanting to take over a pack.

But what do I know? They are only two! Things can change! We never saw Nic taking over a pack either but look what happened.

Zaryn and I walked hand in hand over toward the tables that were piled high with food and desserts, finding mom and Blake's girlfriend Olivia who were both laughing at the grown male wolves and their grandpups.

Blake finally found happiness by the way. Olivia had been apart of the pack forever but with a pack in the hundreds, you couldn't really know everyone. Blake knew of her though. When he was Alpha, it was his job to know every wolf in the pack. Olivia's mate had died when she was in her early twenties and was left with a female to raise. Now, at thirty eight, her female is now mated and living in another pack and Olivia was alone when she and Blake began talking. It's rather adorable. We all really like Olivia and the best part is that neither of them want anymore kids and they are just happy being girlfriend and boyfriend. No bonds attached.

"Hey mom." I smiled, hugging her to me as best as I could with my belly in the way, pressing my cheek to hers.

"Hey honey." She whispered, smiling as we embraced. "My goodness!" she pulled away and pressed a hand to my belly. "You are about to pop any day now!"

Zaryn kissed mom's cheek and whispered, "Thank goddess for that."

Frowning, I smacked his shoulder. "Hey! I heard that! I thought you liked me pregnant!"

"Kiddin! I was kidding! of course I like you pregnant! I'm and Alpha!" He grabbed me up in his arms with the pack witnessing our playful banter. Kissing my temple, Zaryn rubbed his cheek affectionatly to mine.

I actually knew he liked me being pregnant because he never stopped talking about it. He wanted five or six pups but I let him know really fast that I wasn't trying to produce a football team. We could have four but I was actually really happy with three at the moment. After our little female came, I think I'll be good for a loooong while.

"Nova! Zaryn!" Eden's voice called from across the backyard through the hundreds of wolves that had come to the twins birthday barbecue. I spotted her tucked under Maxim's arm with his hand on her hip and his other, carrying their male on his side. Eden had discovered she was pregnant about a few months after my wedding and I was surprised to say the least!

Motherhood suited Eden well though. She still wore her sky high heels and clingy dresses but she wore them well with her pregnant belly.

Yes. She was also seven months pregnant with a female and their male would be two in about four months.

Eden was glowing as they met us over at the party table and Maxim had that proud look on his face that seemed to always be there now. He loved being a dad and a husband. Their wedding had been so beautiful too.. It should though. Eden had spent quite a lot of.. well I should say Maxim had spent quite a lot of money on their wedding.

But he never complained. He would only ever smile and say, "Only the best for my mate."

She had gotten pregnant on their honeymoon.... in Paris..

"Wow look at you! You look great Ede!" we hugged one another, pressing our cheeks together as Zaryn and Maxim shook forearms. "Goddess I feel like I'm about to pop, Eden."

She laughed as she pulled away and I felt a little bit of jealousy that Eden hadn't gained weight anywhere but her belly. Her ankles? totally normal! ugh.

"Well i'm right behind you so don't worry." She smiled, rubbing her belly before her eyes went wide. "Oh my gosh what if our pups are mates! one of them anyways! Wouldn't that be amazing!?" She gushed.

Maxim cleared his throat as he put their beautiful male on the ground to play with the other pups. "Honey, Zaryn is a distant relative."

Eden scruched her face in confusion. "Yeah. Distant. As in like eight or ninth cousins. Not a big deal. Sebastian and Freya are mates and he is her fourth cousin. The moon doesn't count it if its down the line. Please. This is my area of expertise. I am an oracle for crying out loud." She scoffed.

Maxim rolled his eyes playfully as he gave her a kiss to the temple. "You are right. I am wrong. So sorry."

A smirk pulled up at Eden's red lips as she glanced up at him. "And don't you forget it babe."

Maxim chuckled, shaking his head before his eyes met mine. "Hey Nova. You look great. Ready to have three pups running around yet?"

Sighing, I grinned. "I've been ready for nine months now. trust me. I just want to get her our so I can finally walk!"

"I hear that!" Eden exclaimed.

Scoffing, I scrunched my nose at her. "You aren't even big! You look rather comfortable in those gucci's" I eyed her heels pointedly.

Eden narrowed her eyes playfully. "Yeah well beauty is pain. I need a hotdog." She walked past us with a smile, headed to the table to fix a plate but Maxim chased her down, grabbing the plate out of her hand and made it for her.

Alphas....

He will more than likely make her sit on his lap and feed her too..

Just like Zaryn does to me at every single meal time....

Sometimes I want to just smack him but then I remember that it's his wolf going crazy with hormones. He can't really help the need to take care of me and the pup.

"Oh! There's my othe pup!" Mom shouted in excitment as she ran off to help a struggling Grace and Nic.

Turns out, the twin genese runs on my moms side of the family and Nic and I both got that gene.

Grace had wound up having twins as well and they weren't as lucky as Zaryn and I to have both grandpas and a grandma in their pack to help. But their pack did do whatever they could to help them out.

Zaryn and I watched with Olivia as Nic struggled with both of his toddlers and attempting to drag a large diaper bag along because well, Grace was also pregnant again.

With one pup this time.

Eden, Grace and I had all had our pups around the same time and now we were all pregnant again at the same time.

It was as if the moon was giving us a sign.

I had a feeling that our pups would be more intertwined in some way or another.

Maxim and Eden made their way back to where the three of us stood and Maxim laughed as he saw Nic trip over Tripp's little body, falling on his face. Tripp was a wild one, always running around the adult's legs when they walked.

The rest of us couldn't help but to laugh but Mom was picking up Tahlia and the diaper bag so Nic could calm Tripp down. Grace was bending over laughing as Nic sent her a playful growl.

This was going to be one great reunion.

By the time everyone had eaten and the eight long picnic tables were nearly cleared of all the food they had held, it was time to blow out the candles on the boys' cake.

We had to wind up buying a five teired wedding style cake for the pack and then two smash cakes for the boys because it was a lot to go through when you had an entire pack to feed as well.

Maxim and Eden's male, Jace, was playing with Nic and Grace's twins and the other pups while the rest of us crowded around and Zaryn brought out the cake with a fully clothed Blake and Dad. Their wolves had been busy for a while once Tripp and Tahlia had gotten here. They wanted rides too. So did Jace.

"Wait. Where's Gabriel and Elise?" I peered over at Maxim who frowned down at his cell.

"They should be here soon. He got caught up with pack business and was running late. I forgot to tell you." He responded in his deep voice.

Eden sighed. "They are always late for everything."

I chewed my lip as I watched the boys playing with the pretty wrapped presents setting all around them on the ground, pack members scattered all over the yard with watching eyes, hoping the Alpha couple's males likes their presents when they opened them.

"honey." I called out to Zaryn. He looked up at me with those blue eyes I love so much. "Why don't we wait just a few more minutes? I don't want to start without Gabriel and Elise. I feel like they will be here any minute now."

Gabriel and Eliza have become close to us. Like family. Twice a month we all get together and by all, I mean Nic, Grace, Maxim, Eden, Gabriel, Eliza, Zaryn, myself, and all of our pups plus mom, dad, Blake and Olivia. We are like one big happy family. We even went as far as to let each of our pups call us aunts and uncles then decided it would be a bad idea incase one is mated to the other. With how close we all were, it was bound to happen with one of our pups at least.

Wouldnt that be something.

He nodded with a smile. "Sure sweetheart. Infact, here they come." He nodded to the direction behind us.

We all turned to see Gabriel grinning as he rushed toward us with his mate, Elise, in tow and their little female who as about fifteen months old, riding on her daddy's shoulders. He was so very happy.

Upon becoming Alpha of the Moon Stone pack, Gabriel had still been in his Mr. Hyde mode but he was better at controlling it. Besides, he had Bane to take out his agression on, who by the way, is no longer living.

Gabriel had greived for the loss of his pup and mate for months and whipped the pack into shape so that they actually had a chance at surviving now if they were to go to battle. But about five months of being the pack's Alpha, Gabriel began to date again. Well, not really date.. but you get the drift.

That's when he met Elise.

Elise was a widowed female beta wolf. Her mate had died in the war along with most of their warriors and she had been depressed for a long while. She had never had any pups with her mate because they were newly mated when the war happened. Moon Stone had gone to visit another pack, Silver Moon, and that's when Elise met her mate... Reynold's younger Beta. She had said he was thirty four and Elise was thirty. She had moved back to Moon Stone to be with her mate and a week after their mating cremony, eleven days of living at another pack and knowing not a soul aside from her mate.

When she got word that he had died, she became reclusive and would dissappear in the woods in her wolf form every night. That's how Gabriel found her at first. He would also go out into the wood at night after getting drunk and let his wolf run free.

Five months of this greiving for the both of them. That's how long it took for the to actually meet each other one on one.

Elise had told Eden, Grace and I the story one night. She had been out as usual, prowling around when Gabriel's wolf tackled her out of nowhere, thinking she was a threat until he realised she was apart of the pack. Gabriel had shifted back, orderinng her to do so as well. Elise had known that Gabriel was her new Alpha but had only seen him from a distance once because she never attended any Pack functions.

Afraid, Elise had shifted and sat there coverin her naked form, scared to death because she had heard of Gabriel's reputation and the things he was doing to that wolf, Bane, in the basement of the pack house.

But Gabriel surprised her that night. He sat down right beside her, naked as the day he was born, and asked her what she was doing out in the woods so late and why she wasn't with her mate, as she still bore his mark. That's when Elise broke down in tears and told him the story and he held her, letting her cry on him.

From that day on, Gabriel never had another one night stand and began spending all his time with Elise. She made him happy and he made her happy. I had had a vision and allowed both of them to get the closure they needed by sending them to the moon to speak with their loved ones. I had alrady dont this with Gabriel but I did it for Elise too once he had told me what had happened to her.

Her mate had told her to be happy. To take a chance with Gabe.

And so she did.

Months later, she wound up pregnant and Gabriel marked her, saying that no female carrying his pup would go without his mark. He was old fashioned that way. Elise hadn't been ready for it but she just went for it and now she doesn't regret anything.

Neither of them do.

They are both so happy now and Leila has brought the both of them so much happiness.

Elise is the Luna now and she has made a lot of friends. We even started our own Luna's club. It's just the four of us - we get together and the males get together the same night, their Alpha club, doing whatever it is males do like playing poker.

Life has been good to every single one of us.

"Hey girls!" Elise greeted us as she smiled, out of breath. Her pretty jet black hair and light-caramel skin was beautiful, her grey eyes an exotic trait to her appearance because they almost looked silver. She was doubly mixed on both sides of her family tree and had come out with the lightest caramel skin, more like a nice tan. Her mother had come from a pack in Trinidad and met her father here in the U.S. on pack business.

"Hey Elise!" I hugged her, pressing our cheeks together as Grace and Eden wrapped us up in their arms as well.

"Group Hug!" Grace giggled.

We all laughed a bit before pulling away and turning to our males who all smiled at us lovingly. They loved how we all got along. We loved it too.

"Good to see you Gabriel" I smiled at him and he actually hugged me. He does this often now ... ever since I sent him to the moon for closure, we've had this sort of brother sister bond thing going on.

"You look good, Nova. Glad to see you guys are so happy." Gabriel smiled back and it touched his eyes, the joy glowing inside him and shining out for the world to see as he took Leila back from Elise.

"thanks Gabe."

"Alright, the pups are getting wild, we need to crank this birthday party up a notch and get the cake done and start with the gifts." Zaryn was back in daddy mode, noticing our pups were starting to fight with one another over who's present was who's.

Nic slapped him on the back with a chuckle. "I agree with you on that one. Their uncle uncle is starving for some of that cake." He sent me a wink.

Nic has this thing... since he is both mine and Zaryn's brother from a different non-related parent, he calls himself the uncle uncle, the uncle to the 2nd, U2, the list goes on. It's cute. Annoying when other ears here it but cute. Our parents get a good laugh out of it.

"Okay everyone!" I stood with Zaryn's help as we made our way toward the center with dad and Blake carrying the cake to the emptied Picnic table. Getting into my Luna role, I stood side by side Zaryn as I made my little speech.

"We want to thank each and every one of you for coming out today to celebrate the twins' birthday! it's been such a wonderful two years with all of you. We have had so much help from the pack and we consider all of you not only our pack but our family." I smiled out at all the wolves in the crowd.

"My mate is correct." Zaryn's deep voice rumbled, giving me a shiver of delight. "You are all our family and every single one of you will always have a seat at our table. I want to thank you in advance for the gifts the twins get today because I doubt our hands will be able to send out two thank you cards to each wolf." He joked and the crowd responded with laughter.

"Okay! here we go! Ace, Drác, come on boys." Zaryn called our toddler males who both snapped their heads at us at the sound of their names being called and ran over towards us, forgetting the fight they were having.

Zaryn lifted each male and put them ontop of the bench seat of the picnic table, placing their very own smash cakes in front of them and lighting the candles. The pack all begin to sing on cue.

"happy birthday to you. happy birthday to you! happy birthday, Ace and Drác. Happy birthday to you!"

"Come on buddies! blow out your candles and make a wish!" I rubbed them each on their little backs, watching with intent and a smile as Ace frowned, concentrating hard on his wish before blowing the candle out gently. Drac on the other hand, I dont even think he gave another thought to the wish. He just started spit-blowing at the candle until eventually it went out.. laughing once the flame had been distinguished.

Everyone began clapping and calling out "yay!" and my two males both looked up to Zaryn and I with pride at the fact they were both a year older.

"Mommy" Ace called me over, tugging on my shirt.

"Yes baby?" I leaned down to him, smiling as he studied me with his usual concentration face.

"Does this mean tat I a big boy now? Do I get to be a Awpha wike daddy?" He asked seriously with his little toddler voice and his head cocked to the side.

I could hear the laughing wolves as they heard his little voice ask the question but Ace eyed them with a little baby growl coming from his chest. A human growl, as he had no wolf yet.

Smiling, i shook my head. "No baby. You have to grow up to be big like Daddy first. And you have to get your wolf." I explaind.

Zaryn ruffled his hair, squatting down to Ace's level. "And you'll have to fight daddy and win.. to prove that you are strong enough to take care of the pack. Remember. Being an Alpha is a big responsibility so you need to grow up to be big and strong to protect them from harm." His blue eyes twinkled as he explained this to our firstborn. I only fell in love with him more and more every time he opened his mouth.

"Mommy!" Drác whined as he too tugged on my shirt.

Turning toward him, I sat on the space between to two boys, watching as Drác's little features screwed up in confusion. "Do we get a mate now? I hewd unc unc Nic say tat when we get big we get a mate. What's a mate?"

A breath of laughter escaped as I shook my head at the way he titled Nic his uncle uncle. "A mate is like what I am to daddy. A soul mate. One day, when you get your wolf.. you will meet a female who smells really nice and makes your heart feel like its beating a mile a minute and you will want to hug her and keep her forever."

"Ewwwww! I don't want one of doze!" He scrunched his nose.

I only laughed harder and so did Zaryn as we stared at our little males who always had a million questions for everything.

During my laughter, I felt my undies flood and stopped laughing abruptly, thinking I just pee'd myself. It tends to happen when you are pregnant.

"Eww mommy pee'd hersewf!" Drác announced to the entire pack as they all bursted out in fits of laughter but that's when I realised.. it wasn't pee. I couldn't smell it.

Wide eyed, I looked over at Zaryn with shock and horror.

This pup was coming today. My water had just broke.

As if understanding, Zaryn's eyes went wide as well and his gaze darted all around, landing on my dad and his who were talking amongst themselves. "Dads!" He called out, both males snapping their gaze up at Zaryn.

"Nova's water just broke. Can you two handle the unwrapping of the presents?" He was in his Alpha mode now, giving everyone a job to do while still making sure that the twins had a good birthday and got to open their gifts.

Mom and the rest of the females all gasped as I stood carefully, my white dress wet from the crotch, down, showing the proof.

Zaryn was behind me in a moment as Blake and Dad both began to bark out orders to everyone after a nod in our way. They were some seriously great granddads.

Olivia scurried over to me with mom and I thought that Mom might have a heart attack. "Are you okay!? Do you feel anything yet? Should I get your bag? "

I held up my hand, trying to breath in to relax my nerves, both my male pups looking up at me with sadness in their eyes.

"Mom im fine. we are going to head down to Doc's.. wait. Doc!" I called out. Doc immediately made his way through the crowd with Daisy at his side. "My water broke! time to get down to business!"

Doc grinned, he had been wanting to deliver this female for a while. Daisy and Doc were family too. They would always come to our family functions and with working with Daisy and Eden with my gifts, It had been hard not to get close to them. "You got it Luna! We are on our way." He saluted and turned, Daisy giving me a wink before trailing off after him.

"Mommy! Does that mean our baby sistew is coming today?" Drác whined with his blue eyes giving me the puppy dog look.

Zaryn swooped in to save the day as I felt a pain in my side. He could always sense when I was in pain. "Yes, Drac. Your sister is coming, and looks like you three will share a birthday now! isn't that a great gift?"

Oh goddess I hadn't thought about that. birthday's were going to be hell now.

"No! I don't want her! give her back! tell her to wait until tomorrow to come! This is our buffday!" Drác whined.

Ace whipped his head to face his brother with a mean scowl. "Shut up Aysh! Tat's ow sistew. She coming for us to pwotect!"

I shook my head as I smiled down at my boys. Ace so wanted to be like his daddy but had the personality of a little me. It was so adorable.

Hissing in pain, Zaryn wrapped up the convo with our boys and scooped me up in his arms as we bid our farewells and told the boys to behave for their paw paw and Papa. They were in charge as of now. We told everyone to stay here for the twins' then mom, Eden, Grace, Elise and Olivia were welcome to come to the clinic. I wanted my mom and the girls close by when I delivered but it was only going to be me and Zaryn in the delivery room. This was our special bonding moment.

Everyone got to their stations and Zaryn carried me up to his truck, placing me on the seat with a towel beneath me and my bag with all my essetials by my feet. I wanted to get out of this wet dress but I was about to put on a hospital gown so there was really no need for me to shower, change, and all that mess.

Zaryn started the engine and headed down the dirt road toward the clinic as I felt anothe sharp pain in my side but it wasn't a contraction just yet. They were coming though.

Zaryn glanced at me with concern, grabbing my hand in his. "you okay sweetheart? You need me to do anything?"

"No. Just get me there. I need the pain meds! The epidural won't work, i know. But the pain meds will." I cringed as a little foot craned itself between my ribs.

He brought my hand to his lips, kissing the back of it before looking over at me with a smile on his face. "I love you so much Nova. You know... We have three pups now. All with the same birthday. Is this a sign or what." He grinned.

It was a sign alright.

I knew after I recovered from having our female, I would have to tell him what I have been shown in my visions the past few weeks.

Our pups were very special.

Three of a kind, though born two years apart.

It rarely happens but when it does, It's only to moon gifted females.

It would cause unwanted attention from others but we had plenty of time to prepare for all that. We have managed to keep my gifts a secret after all this time so I'm sure the moon was truthful when she showed me my pups future.

But what I do know?

Is that we are going to be happy for a very long time.

Rubbing my belly slowly, I smiled down through tears I never knew I had been shedding. "I love you my sweet female. You will be a daddy's girl thought with your mama's heart. I can't wait to meet you."

I gazed over at Zaryn as we pulled up to the clinic and he raced out of the truck with a clenched jaw. He meant business. Running over to my side, he opened the door and pulled me into his arms, carrying me and my bag toward the door of the clinic and I could only stare up at his handsome chiseled face.

He peered down, realising I had been watching him.

"I love you Zaryn. Thank you. For being so wonderful to me and the boys. For everything." I leaned in and pressed a kiss to his mark.

Grinning, he kissed my nose. "I love you too and I will do anything for the love of my life. Now. Let's go meet our new little female."

It's Time to come and meet your mommy and daddy, little one.

Lyra Elara Stone.

Another dedication to the Moon. Lyra, my middle name, is also a constellation, it's brightest star being the Vega star. Elara is a moon of Jupiter.

It was perfectly fitting and It had just popped into my head as soon as we walked into the front door of the clinic.

As Zaryn followed Doc to my room and placed me down on the bed, I peered up through my lashes, biting my lip.

"What is it sweetheart. You have that look where you aren't sure but want to ask me something." he mused. He knew damn well I wanted to ask him something. The bond.

I sighed. "What about Lyra Elara? Another declaration to the moon.. keep it celestial?" I asked with a hopeful tone.

He narrowed his eyes in thought, his hands on my waist as he crouched in front of me. His gaze locked onto mine and a brightness entered his eyes.

"I love it, honey. It's beautiful. You are beautiful. Of course that will be her name." He leaned in, giving me a long lingering kiss before a painful contraction rolled through my body and I cried out for a second before it disappeared.

I was about to have my female. My Lyra Elara.

My family is perfect.

My pups are all perfect. All three of them.

My mate is perfect.

Life is perfect.

Also.... merry christmas! I need to go get my child's santa stuff out. She is two and excited lol. I have no tree this year and that part really is sad and we don't really have any other family to celebrate with besides the dad which he is just not the best person to be around and is plain ole awful but wish me luck!!!!!
