Marriage again

It had been almost two weeks since that conversation. I saw her panic and I didn't like it. I had called Armaan and we had worked instantly on getting him rusticated from his job. Within a week, he was caught up in a scam and he was terminated from his job. He was now jobless and Nikita's family were reconsidering his marriage.
Nikita POV:
I had come back to India. To Kolkata, to meet Masi. It's almost been two years since she did what she did to me. I didn't have the courage to meet her before, but I have it now.
I was with Mom and Dad, who were at the hotel, and I was standing in front of the reception, waiting for them. I didn't think I'd be back in Kolkata this soon. I didn't even want to step foot here, but I wanted to meet her.
We reached the station where we asked to meet her and we were taken to her cell. She looked like a mess. No more jewelry she always adorned, she looked humbled in every way possible.
"Nikita?" She said and came closer.
I felt myself getting weak but I forced myself to talk, "Yes. The same Nikita you tried to sell."
"You have to understand, that was a necessity."
"It was a mistake. A sin."
"I gave you a caring husband, whether or not you agree."
Husband. Right. I'm not gonna tell her that she's wrong.
"Husband?! What husband?!" Aai suddenly spoke.
SHIT. I didn't tell them about Mayukh. Shit.
"Aai, we'll talk later."
"No you tell!"
"Aai please."
"Yes Tai, go ask her how she ran away with that Bengali businessman's son."
"SHUT UP BUA" I yelled, and looked at Aai, "please wait outside. I'm coming."
"Bua, You gave me a caring husband under what circumstances?!"
"Does it matter?"
"How dare you?" I screamed.
"Keep your voice down. Remember who you're talking to."
"She's my wife. You remember who you talking to."
A deep voice entered. I turned to see him. Mayukh? How is he always wherever I am? I'll ask him later. Right now, I know I needed him.
"So she didn't leave you. Gold digger." Bus scoffed.
"For your kind information, she's doing great on her own. She doesn't need my money." He held my hand.
"I.... I hate you Bua." I cried.
"Whatever."
"Let's go Nikita." He turned at the police, "Make sure this woman regrets every word she said today, and yes, I hope you give every wound on her body which she gave Nikita."
He took my hand and took me outside. Coming outside, I got even more of a surprise. Aai, Baba Ruyash Dada, Manisha Bhabhi and Mayukh's parents. I held my duppata in fear. I was in a skin tight pastel pink salwar with white patiala pants.
"What.... What are you all doing here?" I stuttered.
"Nikita, come home," his Mom said and then turned to Aai, "Yamini Ji, Amol Ji, Please come home, let's talk there."
Aai reluctantly agreed but I could see anger in her eyes. I felt scared and upset.
~~~
We were all seated at Mayukh's home. Bruno was in my arms. I tried to act normal but I was scared.
"What's going on, Nikita?" Aai asked sternly.
"Aai... Iâ"
"I'll tell you Aunty." Mayukh intervened.
I looked at Mayukh, as if saying no, but he looked at me, and said, "It's time."
I sighed as he spoke, "Aunty, Uncle, when the whole incident happened with Nikita, she had run away and had found me. It was a coincidence that I was in the same place. I was with my friends, not for her. I saw her struggling and her Bua had come and surrounded us and had brought the 60 year old man with the sindoor. She... she was ready to do the marriage there or she had her on gun point, ready to kill her, but.... I had no choice but to... to put sindoor, to.... take her as my wife."
Aai, Baba and Rahul were staring in shock.
"So, we got married. I brought her to the hotel I was staying at and I didn't do anything wrong, we didn't do anything. The next day, she went back to Indore. I didn't think we'd meet again, but we met in Dubai. We didn't take anything forward, we just hid everything until she then came here, and I coincidentally came here too. We've not been in touch for a year now."
A huge silence followed.
"Aai... I'm... I'm sorry I didn'tâ" I felt tears in my eyes. I knew I couldn't tell her because I didn't want to put her in guilt.
"Aunty she didn't tell you because she knew you were already in guilt with everything that happened, even though it isn't your fault. She didn't want to give you one more thing on your head that you ruined one more life, which you didn't." Mayukh completed.
He's been completing my sentences for the entire time. I couldn't help but feel safe with him. I thought that even I should talk to his parents, because they must equally be in shock.
"Uncle, Aunty, Dada... I..." I tried to say something but I just couldn't, "I'm sorry. Iâ"
I saw them... smiling?
What?
"We knew for more than a year beta. Mayukh accidentally told us." Aunty said.
"Oh... I'm... I'm sorry." I looked at Dada, thinking he might not have known, but he also chuckled.
"I also knew."
Oh.
I could see Aai Baba sitting in thought watching everything. I knew they felt betrayed that they're the last ones to know. I tried to calm things but before that, Aunty intervened, "Yamini Ji, Amol Ji, if you don't mind, can we all have a conversation?"
Aai looked and instantly nodded, "Ji, of course."
"Without the kids." Aunty added.
What? What conversation without us? Oh God, we're screwed. I looked at Mayukh, who somehow didn't look affected. Everyone looked at us and I got the hint. We had to leave. We got up and stepped out of the house.
Mayukh POV:
"So..." I said.
She looked at me fiercely. She looked hot yet pained, it hurt me. Instead of replying, she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the garage, so we aren't seen. Tears were running down her eyes the whole time.
She pushed me back against a wall and screamed, "Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this Mayukh? What's your problem?"
"What happened to you Nikita?" I asked in concern.
"What am I doing?! You're the one who's always around. What do you want from me? I told you I'll stay away from you, you told me you wanted me away? What happened to that?!"
I could feel the anger in her eyes.
"Nikku.... I..." My eyes softened seeing her in pain.
"Don't. Don't say anything. Look, just stop this. I know what you want... just take it and bloody go. Leave me alone. We're not meant for each other Mayukh. You hate me!"
I felt my anger boiling. Hate her?! What the heck?! Here I'm dreaming of making her mine and she thinks I hate her?!
"Hate you?" I don't.... I don't hate you. I never did."
She gave a fake chuckle, "Yeah sure you don't."
Is she insane?! Has she lost it?!
"Nikita. Don't be an idiot. What the heck are you saying?"
"Don't act stupid Mayukh, we both know what you want."
I pinned her to the wall harshly, "WHAT THE HECK?! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?"
She gasped in fear but her tears didn't stop, I felt my eyes slowly watering too, but my anger took over my sadness.
"What am I doing Mayukh?! This is what you want?!"
"Enough Nikita! Before I do something I regret."
"Something you regret?! Mayukh you want this, so just do what you want and then let me go my way and you go yourâ"
I slammed my lips on her to shut her up. I was beyond angry right now and I didn't know went to yell at her, I don't know what she's saying or what she's implying but I didn't know any other way to shut her up. I pushed her against the wall and kissed her deeply.
Nikita POV:
He was kissing me with so much anger yet gentleness. He pushed me more towards the wall and I couldn't help but moan.
"What... is wrong with... you?" He said, between kisses, "what... is in your head... what are you... thinking?
His hands went around my waist tightly and I held his bicep for support.
He finally let go and his eyes were dark with anger and desire. His hands were still tight around my waist. I looked down in fear. His hands were tightening around me.
"What happened to you?" He said, cupping my face.
He was angry but his anger didn't let him become harsh. His eyes and words were screaming anger but he was still handling me gently. What is this man? Is he real?
"Iâ"
"Nikita? Mayukh?" I heard Bhabhi say.
Shit.
We backed away. I quickly took my duppata from his hands and put it around me and fixed my hair and face, I then walked out while Mayukh stayed behind.
"Ji Bhabhi." I said, trying to take her away from the garage.
"There you are, they're calling you in."
"Ji."
"Where's Mayukh?"
"He... uh.... He'sâ"
"Right here." He said, coming near us.
Where did he come from then?
"What were you both doing?" Bhabhi asked suspiciously.
"Nothing. I was in the garden." Mayukh said.
"Hmmm." She replied, not convinced, "Anyway, not my business what you two are up to, but go inside now, they're calling you."
We nodded and walked inside to seeing everyone sitting on the couch. I looked at Aai, who looked much more relaxed.
Mayukh stood next to me, as if supporting me as we felt the piercing gaze of everyone.
"Sit down." Aai said. We sat down. I sat next to Aai and Mayukh sat on the empty couch. "So we thought a lot about everything and..."
"And?" Mayukh asked.
"We want you two to get married, properly."
