Chapter 39 (Anna is back)

Kate's prov

After our dinner we both payed for our meals...ya I didn't let him pay, we walked out and it's freezing out here, my mom practically threw me iut of my house so I don't exactly have a coat. I looked at jake walking besides me with a smile on his face.

"What's with you" I asked curiosly

"Nothing..... it's my happy face." He beamed

"Okay....I didn't know a dinner with me will make you that happy." I chuckled at him

"What..? No, I am happy because Anna is coming tomorrow." He told me with a grin.

"She's my best friend I am supposed to be happy not you. You can't just steal her from me and you better remember that." I am really mad at him...I am feeling insecure.

"Woah....girl chill!" He put his hands up in the air

"No....it's my best friend you are talking about." I argued

"And mine too." He answered back

"No she's not your best friend" I told him

"She's coming tomorrow let her decide that" he is smiling

"Fine" I agreed

"By the way dinner was that not bad....you know" he started conversation after getting in car.

"Ya it wasn't" I smiled at him

He smiled back then.... looked at me confused "it's freezing...why aren't you wearing a jacket?"

"Long story" I said it in a sing song voice

"please do tell, I have got the whole time in world" he chuckled

"My mum thought it's a date so she kinda threw me out of my house because she didn't want you to wait." I explained

"Well.... I hate waiting but I wouldn't mind waiting if that means you're gonna dress up properly and tie up your hair like this." He chuckles and looks at me.

I saw this whole new side of him today....he actually needs a good laugh often or he'll actually turn into a jerk he alwaya pretends to be....

"Let me turn on the heater you'll feel better."

Then we drove off.....we both talked about how we are going manage the whole project thing. We have a lot of time Jake assured me that, he kinnda owns the college and is actually a business man too. So he knows how to deal with Mr. Will, he told me that after college we can go for more than one restaurant a day then.....when we have all the information we are going to do the paper work at my place.

"Here.....we go Miss Erric." He announced when we stopped in front of my house.

"Thank you Mr..... Mr? What's your last name" I don't remember his last name...

"Walter" he said without looking at me.

"Oh....ok but that's difficult to remember I'll stick with Jake." I told him and moved out of his car.

Mom was standing at the door for sure because it didn't took her more than a knock to unlock the door. She dragged me in and I noticed everyone in the living room with popcorn ans snacks.....obviously they did it on purpose they want 'DETAILS' but then who am I to destroy this for my family so I grabed a pillow and started from the beginning.

I heard a car engine shut off....and then someone banging my door.

I shot my eyes open and whipped my head at door....it has be Anna. I ran downstairs and saw her smirking at me.

"I missed you so much." I shouted and welcomed her for a bear hug.

"Lets get ready we have to go college" she said after pulling apart.

"Ya...let's meet outside in 15 mins?"  I asked and she nodded in response.

Anna's prov

Finally home. I got inside after meeting kate, she looked happy....so am I. I am a bit tired but it's important to attend college for that stupid project everyone's trapped in. I'm  with this guy Ayan and he's mad, like really mad...he has this thing about football which is always in his hand, sometimes I wonder how did he manage to eat, write, drive, etc....because that football is always in his hand. Maybe he sleeps with it at night. I chuckled at this thought and got upstairs to get ready. I took me 20 mins because the weather is freezing so I took a while to decide what should I wear. I love winters it's my favourite season....sweater, scarfs, jackets....most of all car rides. Kate isn't a big fan of cars she's more of a bike person which is another wierd thing about her. She blackmails me in summer to go on that scary bike but in winter she agrees with my car without bribing her into things.

I got outside and saw leaning on my car......mostly we both look like zombies this early in morning but today is different which means people should watch out. We both are not sleepy then we are definitely crazy.

"Come on...jump in girl." I said her patting my hand on my car.

"Oh....sure Anna banana, it's freezing out here." She said while getting in.

"So how was your trip? Everything okay?" She asked me while I started the engine

"It was the most confusing trip ever....and you are asking like you don't know anything about it" I fixed my gaze on road but still know that kate is curious to know about the trip.....

"yaa...but still if you wanna talk about it again." She's stubborn and lying me that she heard the whole story instead I know she fell asleep that night I told her about my trip.

"Nah...let's leave it to that. I am not sure it's a topic we should talk about today." I huffed amd a slight smile tugged my lips.....it's fun teasing her and she should learn that next time lying isn't an option.

"Okay." She shrugged

"So...? What about The project?" I inquired

"we're working on it" she said beaming

"What's with that Happy look?" I asked her wiggling my brows at her

"Oh...My God Anna...! Eyes on the road" she yelled at me with wide eyes.

I chuckled at her reaction....I was looking at the road too but then seeing her like this is funny. She's scared when I drive and same goes with when I join her on that scary bike.

This the perfect Example that We both trust each other with  pur lives.

"Chill...I got this." I said winking

"No no no.....eyes on the road Anna." She told me

"Watever" I sighed and entered our college parking.

We got out and walked towards or building....

We saw some of our classmates so kate decided to stop for a chit-chat. I don't involve easily there are only few friends in my life and they are all best. Kate talks to everyone in our class, we also made some friends at the costume party but then I didn't exactly got any chance to interact woth them any futher.

"Hey...Anna you're back." Sue squealed and hugged me.

"Ya...she is..now let her breath." Kate pulled us apart. She's possessive when it comes to me,

"Hi...how are you?" I asked sue

"I am fine but we missed you soo much."

I looked at kate when she said 'WE' then I got pulled in another hug with realisation..OH..JENNIFER.

We talked then the boys came I don't remember much anything but their names It's AYAN (the one with football in his hands) NICK (the one who's funny) EDWARD (the sincere one) and I don't see Alex anywhere.

"Anna it's not my birthday today." Nick said.

"I know that. Why would you say that?" I asked him confused

"You gave a present by coming today so I was making sure you know it's not my birthday." He joked and let's take it back when I say he's funny.

"Shut up Nick. Yo Anna! What's up?" Ayan interrupted

"Seriously guys....give her some space." I heard someone behind me.....I turned to look at the owner of the voice. ALEX

"You don't tell her what to do or not to do with her Alex." Kate used her stern voice.

Kate don't know the story about us as she fell asleep but now I will have to tell her.

"WOAH...KATE? What's with you" Alex surrendered his hand in air and asked her.

"Umm....nothing we are getting late for class let's go. We can talk about it later" I dragged kate to the class and everyone followed us. We are actually late but Mrs. Claire let us in her economy class anyway......we all got into our seats.
