Making Friends

(Raymond POV)

I woke up and looked next to me to see my little flower sleeping peacefully. I smiled at the pack symbol on her shoulder. All the Alphas have it. I get up, retrieve some clothes from my closet and I slowly make my way to the bathroom.

Turning the shower on I strip and start washing myself. Once I'm done I dress in the new clothes and I make my way out of the bathroom. Seeing that Loretta is still asleep I make my way past her and into the kitchen.

Taking out some of the groceries from the other day I start on omelettes. I finish that then I place two spots on the table. One for me and one for Loretta. Suddenly Loretta's scream echoes through the house.

I leave everything and run up the stairs into my room where I see Loretta against the headboard and a spider on the foot of the bed. When she sees me she runs over the pillows and jumps in my arms crying and shaking.

"You okay Loretta?" I asked her gently. She shakes her head and begins to sob. My wolf doesn't like it that she's crying. "What's wrong?" I ask still gently. "S-s-spid-der." She says shaking.

I look at the spider on the foot end of the bed. "You afraid of spiders?" I ask her gently. She nods her head. "One of them bit daddy's sister and she died." Loretta cries in my neck.

Now I understand why she's scared of spiders. Must of been a Black Widow. Those spiders can make your heart stop in minutes. Luckily spider bites and venom does not affect werewolves. But I'll tell her later. For now I want her to know I will always protect her.

Still holding on tightly to Loretta I take a jar that happened to be in my room and I catch the spider in it. I close it and I walk downstairs. When I enter the kitchen I set Loretta down on the chair.

While she looks at me I walk outside and I open the jar and throw the spider out. Then I walk back inside and I show the empty jar to Loretta. She giggles and jumps off of her chair. In the next few minutes she's clinging to my leg.

"You're my hero daddy!" She says giggling again. I smile at her then I bent down and picked her up. My sweet little daughter I sit down on the chair and I set her on my lap.

I have already set the food down before Loretta screamed. I take a knife and fork then I feed Loretta a piece of omelet. While she's chewing I eat a piece and so we finish the breakfast I made.

"Loretta?" "Yes daddy?" She says looking at me. "I have a surprise for you." I say. I stand up and I turn her around so she faces my chest. "Close your eyes." I tell her smiling.

She does so and she also hides her face in my neck. I smile down at her. I walk up to her bedroom first. "Alright look." I say. She takes her face out of my neck and opens her eyes looking around.

Her eyes grow big. "Pretty!" She exclaims. I smile. "That's not all." I say. She looks up at my puzzled. I show her all the rooms we prepared for her the other day. When I'm done she looks at me and throws her arms around my neck.

"Thank you daddy!" She shouts. I laugh at her enthusiasm. "You wanna come with me today?" She nods her head giggling. I take her to my room to get her ready. I'll start using her room from tomorrow.

I finish bathing and dressing Loretta. Once I'm done she smiles at me when I pick her up. "Alright, come on. Let's go." I step out of the house with Loretta on my hip. After a 30 minute walk we are in front of the pack house.

I walked in opening the door. Then I walk up the stairs to the children's play room. I opened the door and a hundred pairs of eyes look at me. I set Loretta down. A go on my knee's next to her.

"You have to play here while I do some work, okay Sweetheart?" Loretta nods her head. "Yes daddy." I smile at her and kiss her forehead. I stand up and make my way out of the room closing the door behind me.

(Loretta's POV)

I watch as daddy closes the door behind him and then I turn to the rest of the kids in the room whose all looking at me now. I start feeling self-conscious and I know my hair is changing color again.

"That's awesome!" I turn around to see a boy with black hair and green eyes smiling down at me. "Hello." I say shyly. He holds out his hand. "I'm James Salamander." I take his hand. "Loretta Roland."

I smiles and then he starts leading me through the room by hand. The rest of the kids had all started playing again. He stops where a boy and a girl is playing. They stop what their doing and they look at me.

I feel my hair changing a deeper color as my embarrassment grows. James leads me to the other boy that looks exactly like him except that he has blue eyes. "This is my twin brother." He says.

The boy smiles at me and sticks out his hand like his brother did. "John Salamander." He says as I take his hand. "Loretta Roland." I say. The girl then smiles at me. "Jolene Salamander. I am one year older than these two."

I smile at her. Soon we are playing. Me and Jolene building puzzles and the boys running around. Suddenly Jolene sits up. "Let's go play outside!" She shouts out making the boy stop and nod their head. "I'll have to ask daddy first." I say.

They nod and we leave the play room searching for my daddy so I could ask his permission. We walk down the big halls and I catch daddy's scent.

(Raymond's POV)

I smell Loretta getting closer and I hold my hand up for my Beta to stop talking. He does and the rest of the guys in the meeting looks at me weirdly.

A knock sounds on the door. "Come in!" I call out. The door opens and Loretta shoots in like a bat out of hell. She stops in front of me eyes bright. I notice a girl and two boys standing at the door.

"Can I go play outside daddy?! Please?!" I smile down at my daughter. "Alright Sweetheart." I look at my men in the meeting. Dylan is only here because he went with us to Arabia.

"Dylan. Please watch them." He nods his head. "Yes Alpha." "Yes!" Loretta shouts out and I watch as her hair turns Multicolored. I quickly take the paper out that she gave me. Okay so she's happy.

I watch as Loretta runs out. Dylan runs out after the children. I smile at the door they just left through. "Alpha? The counter attack plan?" Harry says. "Oh yeah." I look at them all.

"As I said..."

(Loretta POV)

I run out of the room where daddy was and we all run down the stairs with one of the men that was with daddy. We run outside and into the woods. Me and Jolene runs behind one tree and we undress and shift.

Jolene had to help me getting my dress off. When we go back the boys are already shifted and there's another wolf. Only a big one. He has brown fur and blue eyes. The boys both have black fur but James has green eyes and John blue eyes.

Jolene also has black fur but she has brown eyes. My wolf is white with blue eyes. When I'm in my wolf form my fur changes color with my emotions. I still don't know what I am and daddy never told me.

We run around playing tag for a while. I am about to tag James. Then the big brown wolf jumps in front of me and growls at the trees. I look at the trees where a red wolf with patches of missing fur walks out.

The brown wolf growls and the red one growls back. They have a stare off for a while. Then a howl sounds behind us and four more wolves run into the clearing.

Now there's four wolves around us children and the biggest in front of our group. The wolf in front of the group has black fur and he is very big.

(Raymond POV)

"Alpha." Dylan's voice echoing in my head immediately puts my wolf on high alert. "What's wrong." "A rogue wolf just entered to where the kids are playing." I growled.

Standing up I mention to three of my men to follow me. We run out of the pack house and I shift into my black wolf tearing the clothes I had on. I follow Loretta's scent like a bat out of hell.

I come to the clearing and see Dylan's wolf standing in front of Loretta and one of the twin boys. The other two also behind Dylyn but a few meters away. I reach them and jumped in front of Dylan.

I growl at the red wolf and he cowers then runs off. I turn around. "Dylan. Archer. Search the territory and tell the guards I wanna see them in my office tomorrow."

I turn back to Loretta. The boy is still standing close to her. My wolf is on the edge and the young cub is way to her for his protective instinct. Mine too actually.

I growl at the cub and he jumps away from Loretta bowing his head. "Take the other back to their homes." I mind-link my men not caring who did it. I walk up to Loretta and rub my snout in her neck.

Loretta lets out a wolfish laugh and puts her paws on the sides of my snout. I lick her then I pick her up by the scruffs of her neck. With Loretta in my mouth I start heading home.

When I get to the doors I set her down on the porch. Loretta turns around and jumps on me. Ha. My little daughter sure has energy. I guess I'll just say it was because she was trapped in the palace for a long time.

I gently shake he off then I shift. Keeping my back to Loretta so she doesn't see anything she shouldn't I open the door. Loretta's wolf speeds past me.

I quickly move upstairs into my room and then I get dressed. I walk back downstairs when I'm finished and I find Loretta fast asleep on the couch. I bend down picking her small wolf up in my arms then I start heading to her room.

Her room- which I made sure was next to mine- was still spotless since she's never been in it. Balancing her with one hand I open the blue bedsheets with the other. I lay her down on the bed and then I close her up tucking her in.

Before I leave the room I kiss Loretta's forehead and I softly close her door. I smile as I make my way too my room. I've never seen Loretta smile as bright as she did today.

It seems like she's made friends. I am so proud of my little girl. I get in bed and I fall asleep instantly.
