chapter 17

Author's POV.

Vidhyut opened his eyes slowly when the Alarm rang. He was about to get up off it when he felt a wait on his chest. He looked and realized that Jeevika was sleeping in his chest. And was making an irritating face. That's when he realized that he still didn't turn off the Alarm. He smiled and scratched his hands to take the phone which was on the bedside table.

Once he turned off the Alarm he saw the date and realized that it's her result day. He thought that because Of her Maa's health and then marriage she must forget about it.

He slowly untangled himself from her and went to get fresh. Once he was done with his morning runite he went to the closet and took out her Hall ticket for her seat number. And went to check the result. But when he finally results load his face falls. He started getting worried about Jeevika's reaction.

When she woke up she didn't find Vidhyut. So she thought he must be down in the living room. So she got fresh and went downstairs. When she reached there he saw that Vidhyut was sitting on a sofa with a closed laptop with his head in his palm.

She approached him and set beside him and slowly asked,

" What happened, Vidhyut?"

He looked up him with sad face and said,

" Jeevi, do you know what today is?" She thought for moment and realized,

" Ohh shit Vidhyut today is my result"

" Correct, and I have just checked it "

" Wow you checked already. Ok tell me D how many percentages I got. Will I get admission in the college I want? I have already thought about two or three colleges but I want to take admission in the best college. What happened, why are they not speaking?"

He looked at her with sad expression, came closer to her and cupped her face and said,

" You know bachha life doesn't go the way we planned right? And you know right everyone gets a second chance and it's ok to take a break and think what we have to do further. Heena. And you should know that life doesn't end here. I am and will always be with you no matter what."

Jeevika looked him with worried face and teary eyes and asked,

" Why are you talking like this Vidhyut? Is my result not good ? Didn't I score well? But I have worked hard."

" Sorry Meri Jaan but you failed "

" No you are lying, " she said and stood up. But he pulled her on his lap and said,

" Why will I lie to you? I have checked it"

" No it's not possible" saying she hugged him and buried her face in his neck. When he realizes she is crying he breaks the hug. But still she is not looking at him.

" Shuu why are you crying Look at me baby

When she looked up at him that time he regret making her cry and said,

" Sorry baccha don't cry. I was just pranking on you. You have passed exam and score 94%"

He said while getting happy and excited. And She looked at him with wide eyes and an angry face.

" You peaked on me saying I failed."

" Sorry I was just pulling your leg. I never thought that you would cry. Sorry." Saying he suppressed his laugh. She narrowed her eyes and started hitting him on his chest.

" You Idiot, buffalo, donkey, monkey. Why did you do this to me? Why did you make me cry in the early morning?"

Now he laugh out loud and said,

" Sorry yaar, I never knew you would react like this and cry. I was just pulling your leg."

He was laughing and she was hitting with her hands. Everything was fine till she was hitting him. But one line didn't settle him which changed his expression.

" You know what, I will not talk to you. You know what, I have a better Idea. I will divorce you and leave you."

He caught her both hands in one hand and grabbed her from the back of her neck. And brought her face to close his face. This proximity affects her. Her breath got heavy and she stopped speaking,

" What did you just say ?" He asked with a dominating Voice. Which she heard for the first time. He was always gentle and warm with her. So she gulped and said,

" I won't talk to you."

He nodded his head in no and changed their position now they are in a lying position. Her head was on the hendrest of the sofa and he was now on top of her. She gulp, he brought his hand down with was holding her nape of neck and slowly slid her T-shirt upside and pinched her waist and said,

"Shii"

" Try again baby"

" I won't.... Talk ...to ...you...I will leave you..." she said whatever she was able to remember while shattering.

" That's where you are wrong, baby. Now that you are married to me. There is no option of leaving me. Understand. "

Saying he hid his face in a crook of neck. When she didn't reply. He bite her there and said,

" Answer me meri Jaan " and sucked a little there.

" Ahhh understand."

" Say you belong to me."

" I belong to you."

He came again to face her and said,

" You better remember this "

She nodded with pout. Their moment was broken when suddenly someone opened their main door.

" Fuck we didn't see anything" this was Abhimaan. He closed his eyes and Advika who was with him turned around.

Both of them stood up from the sofa and Jeevia corrected her T-shirt. She was embarrassed and hid herself behind Vidhyut.

" You can come in and open your eyes." He said with anger in his voice. As his moment got disturbed because of his arrival. They turned towards them and smiled. Advika was the first one who spoke to make the environment normal.

" Very good Jeevi. You did well in the exam. We are so proud of you."

Jeevika also got excited and Hugged her.

" Thank you so much Advika di."

" Wait, how do you know about her result and how did you check?"

" Vo we didn't know. But Maa asked her about it when she stayed there. Also took her Seat number. So when I went to Kitchen she was cooking Gajar halwa for her. That time she told me. Also she is the one who checked first in the early morning." Advika explains.

" Wow, she cooked Gajar halwa for me. But then why didn't she come here with you?" She asked with a little pout.

All three looked at each other. As they know the truth. But of course they can't tell Jeevika now as it's too early for her. So Advika lied,

" Vo jeevi she went to temple to thank god as you score good marks. Also want to pray that you can get admission in whichever college you want."

Jeevika became happy listening to that and didn't ask further questions. They happily ate sweets and celebrated her good result. Vidhyut denied going to the office and helped her with the college from filing and everything. Also take her to dinner.

This is the day Jeevika finally got admission in the college she wanted. She is very excited about that. Also her best friend is back in the city. Currently they are having breakfast and arguing over should Vidhyut Go office today.

" Jeevi I am still telling you I can take a holiday , you know. I also take half."

" Ohh ho Vidhyut I am telling you I have checked everything. There won't be any problem. I have to just submit them and my admission is done. Also no need to worry Mahima is also there with me. If there will be any problem. I will call you." She said while serving him Paratha.

" Are you sure ? And why are you not having your breakfast?"

" You know I woke up late. So I just had my morning tea now. So I will have later on. And yes I am sure no need to worry."

She said, Once he was done with his breakfast. She went with him till the door. It's their new routine. She always goes with him till the door to bid him goodbye when he goes to the office.

Once they reached there he hugged her. They stayed there for a while. Once she broke a hug she tiptoed and kissed his cheek.

" Bye, have a nice day."

" Hmm, call me if you have any problem. And bye. " He said and kissed her forehead. And gave her Chocolate.

"Is this for me ?" She asked with her shiny eyes.

" Yes this is your best of luck chocolate. You can have it once you submit all your documents. And your admission gets confirmed."

She got happy and hugged him. He reciprocated it. And kisses her ckeeks.

Once he went she turned around only to see Sujata was there. She gave Jeevika a warm smile and Jeevika blushed as she knew that she witnessed their little romance.

" I never saw Sir this happy. He loves you a lot. "

She blushed more while listening to this.

Jeevika came out of Car running. Mahima saw her and was shocked. She didn't know about her marriage.

" Jeevi what is this? Whose car is this?"

Jeevika told her everything. And she became shocked,

" So you mean to say you married to the Vidhyut Sihna. "

" Yes. He was the Vidhyut Maa always talked about."

" Hmm, the situation when you got married is sad. But I think he is Good man. He did a lot."

" I know. " While smiling thinking about him.

" Ohho thinking about your Husband haa" she teased Jeevika who was smiling.

" Haa toh, can't I think about my husband. And he is my husband and only I have the right to think about him." She said while huffing.

" Fine, no need to get all possessive. Let's get done with these formalities then tell me about him and your marriage life. How much progress you made"

" Fine, let's be done with this."

Before they can enter driver who came to drop Jeevika came to her and said,

" Ma'am if you will take time then Can I go home? Actually my wife called me saying that my daughter suddenly started throwing up. She alone won't be able to take her to hospital. So Can I?"

" It's ok Kaka you can go. Anyways, all these formalities are going to take time. Also after this I will catch up with my friend. So it will take time for you can go."

She said.

They stood in line for documents submission. It was a long line so it took time. First it was Mahima whose process was done. All her documents are ok. So she was done with her work. And jeevika gave her documents. Just then Mahima's phone rang.

She went to talk and come and said,

" Vo My aunty is here. We have to go to some of her relatives' homes."

" Haa toh you go."

" But Jeevi you are still not done."

" Aree it's ok. I checked my documents and everything was ok. So I won't face any problem. So you go. Once I am done I will go home. Also now that college is going to start we will be meeting everyday. So we will talk later ."

" Are sure there won't be any problem "

" Haa I am sure you should go."

Mahima left as jeevika told her. Just then Clark call her and said,

" Your documents are not complete?"

" But I have checked everything that was there." She said while thinking how is that possible.

" Actually you gave your exam as Jeevika Vashisht. But you got married before taking admission. So now your gardien and the one whose name you are using is your Husband. So there is a form that you have to submit with his signature. "

" But I didn't know about this, " she said while panicking. The clerk was experienced so he knew this kind mistake happens.

" No need to panic. I will give you a form. It's only 11. You can fill it and ask for his signature. You can submit till 12:30. "

She nodded. And took form. She decided to first call Vidhyut. She tried calling him but he didn't pick up her phone. She continued to call him till the next fifteen minutes. But when he didn't pick up. She decided to go to his office as she can't take risks. When she came out of the college she realized that she asked the driver to go when he took her permission. Also she didn't ask for his number.

" Jeevi, how can you be so silly? At least you should have taken his number. "

But she realized that she have Vidhyut's office address. So she decided to go by herself.

So the longest chapter till now.
