chapter 46

Surprise Update. Hope this will make all of you happy.

Author's POV.

Vidhyut entered his cabin in the London office. Abhimaan also entered behind him. He saw Vidhyut sitting on a sofa messaging his temple. He came and sat beside him and hugged him. They stayed in the silent for sometime then Abhimaan decided to broke,

“ Are you ok to share with me?”

Vidhyut knows that this is their personal matter but in this situation he doesn't know how to react. He is understanding Jeevika's point of view. But his anger towards the situation doesn't let him think straight. And he knows someone who can help him. Not only will he help him also he knows  that Abhimaan will never judge him and his relationship. So he decides to tell him everything. He sighs and tells him everything.

“ I can't believe she took all things like this. Trust me Vidhyut I never knew she was listening to our conversation. And will take this meaning and this thought entered in her mind.”

“ I know Abhimaan, it's just that college event has implemented that nonsense thought in her mind and then when she saw you and Advika she took this whole different meaning.”

“ Hmm But Vidhyut Don't feel bad but it's not only her fault.”

He looked at Abhimaan with a shocked expression.

“ Try to understand Vidhyut. I accepted that what she said that she wants divorce is wrong. And I am not going to justify that. You can be angry on that matter.

Look I am not telling you that you made her feel insecure. But you yourself have decided that she is not ready to take this further step in a relationship. You said she never said but tell me have you ever asked or discussed this topic?

Vidhyut realized that he was right ; he never discussed or even asked her.

“ I understand that you are concerned about her but still not even asking was your fault also. You need to understand that she just turned 19 yesterday. You know she is just a teenager. And It's not like you don't understand how their mind and body works. And that just happened with her.  And all that nonsense talk made her feel like that.

It's not like that both of you are never going to take the next step but you decide on your own. So now being angry that she didn't tell you that is not right. For girls it's already very difficult. On top of that she is just a teenager , which made the situation worse. She is too small to be vocal about this.

You see, all of us have the advantage that we are mature enough to understand things, feelings and are ready to be in a relationship. But she was not. still she works commentable on that.

Think about it. She was maybe seventy percent at fault but you yourself are at least thirty percent at fault for not asking her. Get angry at that Divorce thing. I am not stopping you but for this you need to think this way also.”

Vidhyut looked at him and nodded knowing that he was right. He just can't decide what Jeevika wants without even asking. Abhimaan smiled and patted his back. And went back.

Kajal enters Jeevika's room; who is crying while sleeping on her stomach and digging her face in the pillow. She came and sat beside it and started caressing her hair. Jeevika looked at her with her red swollen eyes.

Kajal’s heart clinches looking at her. She always sees her happy, bubbly, teasing eighter Abhimaan or Vidhyut. But now looking at her she is feeling worse. Jeevika set up on bed and asked her innocently,

“ Are you also here to hit me like Maa or shout at me like Vidhyut?”

“ No beta, I am here to hug my daughter. I know how much she likes to hug and cuddle but no-one hugged her today.”

“ Sacchi”

“ Sacchi” she said and opened her arms to which Jeevika just hugged her tightly and cried.

After some time kajal spoke,

“ jeevika if you don't mind tell me beta what happened to you suddenly?  Why did you suddenly ask for a divorce suddenly? I know you love Vidhyut then why?”

“ You will get angry just like Vidhyut. Or worse will slap me like maa”

“ Trust me beta I won't do anything like either of them. I am here to listen to you. I know how it feels like that  when nobody listens to your side of the story and blames you.”

“ Pakka”

“ Pakka” she assured her with a smile. And set on bed with her back on the bedpost and jeevika put her head on her lap. And started telling her everything. Once everything is done she looked Kajal and said,

“ I know Aunty, that's What I did wrong. But succhi I think he is not happy with me.”

Kajal sigh and said,

“ Should I tell you one thing Jeevika?”

“Hmm”

“ You know he is my sin right?”

“ Ji Aunty,” she said slowly.

“ You know Jeevika, he is just like his father.”

Jeevika looked at Kajal curiously. Vidhyut who also comes back to talk jeevika stops at their bedroom door at the mention of his father's name. Never in his life does he listens Kajal talking about his father. Not only that but nobody has ever listened. Only his father or Kajal what actual relation they share.

“ How aunty?”

“ Niraj, was his father's name.” She said with a smile that love can be easily seen in her eyes and voice.

“ When I met Niraj for the first time , I was pregnant with Abhimaan. And you already know what kind of relationship I was sharing with his father. Abhiraj Abhimaan’s father never cared about me. You know I was pregnant with his child but not even once he asked me how I'm handling this pregnancy. But Niraj was not like this. His wife had already died at that time. He was all alone in this world. Just like Vidhyut was alone when you met. We instantly became friends. When my own husband didn't care about his pregnant wife that time he did. He used to fulfill all my cravings and used to take care of me.

Slowly we fell in love you know after being in love for almost a year we took this drastic step which changed everything. I became selfish and took advantage of that situation. But he still respected me. And again took care of me during Vidhyut’s time.

You know why?”

“ Why?”

“ Because he was all alone in this world and knew the meaning of love, care and family and put them before any physical needs. And my Vidhyut is just like his father who knows the value of love. Beta if you don't fulfill his need I am sure he won't say anything.  If you get angry he will listen to you. He will bare all your tentrem just not think about leaving him. The inner child in my Vidhyut needs love and only you can get him.

One more thing you need to understand is that if there is a man like Abhiraj and your teacher’s husband then there's there is man like Niraj and Vidhyut who knows that value of true love. And both of us are lucky to have them in our life.

Last thing Jeevika I know you are a teenager but beta you also need to work in your relationship. Why this all happened is because you didn't talk to him. And beta when you take this next step then you need to be vocal about this. You need to tell him what you like and what you don't. She. You want it when you don't. And beta it's completely ok. He is your husband and can share it with him.”

She said to her with a smile and Jeevika nodded understanding her mistake. And kajal kissed her forehead. Vidhyut who listened to all this wiped the tears that escaped his eyes. All his life he thought that he was a result of his parents' dirty deeds and secrets. But for the first time listening to his mother he felt that whatever everyone says is the result of pure love of his parents which they never express.

He also realized that though they never talk but his mother knows him very well and  this time supports him also by making Jeevika understand the point he may have felt difficult.

Soon he knocked on the door. Jeevika, who was hugging Kajal, looked at the door. Kajal came out of her embrace and stood up but Jeevika held her palu. Kajal smiled at her and said,

“ it's on beta nothing will happen. Talk to him once everything will be fine.”

And left the room.

So here is the update.

I was not planning to give it today but then decided otherwise. Hope all of you will be happy with this.

Now Vidhyut and jeevika both know their mistakes and will they be able to solve their problem?
