chapter 58

Author's POV.

Jeevika slowly opened her eyes and found herself in the safest place in the world, her husband's arm. She smiled looking at his sleeping figure. It's been a few days since they consummated their marriage.  Days have beautiful scenes then and nights are passionate and filled with love.

An idea stuck in her mind and she smiled mischievously.  She slowly came out of his embrace and sat on his stomach. His eyebrows frowned but he was tired so didn't bother to open his eyes and tried to sleep again.

But someone started tracing his abs. Knowing that it's his naughty wife. He didn't bother to react. But she didn't like this ignorance. She moved herself a little down to his stomach and leaned herself towards his face. She slowly started kissing him on his cheeks to his jawline.

He controlled himself from smiling and continued his act of sleeping. When he didn't even wake up after this she got a little angry and bit hard on his neck.

“ Issh Jeevi.”

He couldn't control himself from moaning her name. She likes this idea and bit him once more.

“ Shiii”

He moan and had enough of her torture so flip them. Now he is on top of her. She was shocked by this sudden action and pouted and asked,

“ You were awake all this time?”

“ Yes meri jaan. How can I sleep when someone is doing her naughty action and sweet torture on me.”

“ Then why were we not waking up?”

“ Why will I wake up when someone is showing her love for me.”

She giggled at his behavior. He couldn't control himself anymore and kissed her. After their little make out session. They had their hot bath together.

After that they went on with their daily routine.

At night they had their dinner and after a beautiful love making session she was laying on his necked chest. And tracing his abs. He looked at her and realized that she is in her thoughts.

He kissed her forehead and asked,

“ what are you thinking Mari Jaan?”

She looked at him and said that,

“ If I ask you something, will you listen to me, Vidhyut?”

He got confused with this. And raised his eyebrows,

She got up a little and he helped her to wear his shirt. And he also wore his clothes. She settled herself on his lap and cupped his face.

“ Vidhyut you know I love you right?”

“ What happened suddenly jeevi you are scaring me?”

“ you answer my question. Tell me you know that I love you.”

“ I know Jeevi that you love me. Now tell me what happened?”

“ Nothing has happened. But I think you should talk once with kajal aunty.”

Listening to her expression of his face changed. He removed her hands from his face and said,

“ I think we should sleep jeevi.”

She looked him and said,

“ I know Vidhyut you don't want to talk about this but at least listen to me and try to understand why I am saying this.”

He sighed looking at determination of her face and said,

“ Why this sudden talk when we never discussed about this”

“ That's why we are discussing it now. Vidhyut, listen and try to understand me. I never said this but always feel at least once listen to her perspective. I always thought that you are free from the past. But when you didn't go to your school reunion and that day refused to meet Vikram I realized that you are still affected by that thing that's why you didn't talk about that. Also after that when we went to Abhi’s home I saw how you ignored kajal aunty.

I also came to know that you know about her past from Abhi but never talk yourself.  Vidhyut what you came to know about her past and her feelings towards Abhi. But you never know what she felt for you, your father and her relationship, what she went through when she gave up on you. Also didn't share your insecurity feeling with her, how did you feel when they called you with names. Vidhyut talks it out at least once. So you can also be free from this berden.”

Vidhyut fist his palm and gulped and said,

“ I don't want to. I don't want to know her story. And I don't want her to tell her my. Let's sleep.”

He tried sleep but she didn't let him and said,

“ Please Vidhyut once at last. it will give you closure.”

This made him angry and he spoke,

“ What do you want me to do to talk to her? Where was she when I was crying for my mother. How I felt when they called me son of bitch and whore. I know what happened with her was wrong but I don't want to know more. I am happy in my life. I don't need any closure.”

He said angrily and made her sit on the bed and sleep.

Next day he went to the office even before Jeevika woke up. When she didn't found him she realizes that he is angry with her. She just wanted him to move on completely. She doesn't want him to ignore things because of his past and feel bad when someone mentions it. She just wants him to have closure.

She Sighed and called him. For the first two times he cut the call. But then picked up,

“ Hello…” she said,

“ Can't you understand that I am having some important work that's why not picking up call.” He said angrily and cut the call.

He was in his cabin with his assistant and Rahul and Priti who came there for somework. Among all of them only Priti read the name flesh on his phone as both the boys were discussing something with each other. She got happy when she realizes that he sought on jeevika. She thought,

“ I know this little girl can't keep boss happy. Now this is my turn to come close to him. And I will win him.”

But she decided not to share his feelings with anyone. As all office staff are fans of jeevika and will not like this idea.

Next two days went like this. He avoided talking with jeevika. And Jeevika tried every possible way. When she wasn't able to do this she decided to go to his office. And forced him to have lunch with her.

All this while when they had lunch Vidhyut didn't speak even a single word with her. She is controlling herself all this while but now she can't. So she asked,

“ Are you not going to talk to me Vidhyut?”

“ Jeevika, I have a lot of work. You forced me to have lunch so I had it with you. But now please go back home and let me finish my work.”

“ It's been two days, Vidhyut , you haven't talked to me.  Please Vidhyut tell me what is running in your mind. Please, I am here to listen to you.”

Nothing is helping Vidhyut's state of mind now. He is not able to decide what he wants to do. This only added to his anger.

He stood up from his place and was about to move when Jeevika held his hands and tried to stop him. But he jerked his hand because of that his hands collided with glass and resulted in it breaking.

“ See what happened because of you jeevika.”

“ I was just trying to talk to you.”

“ Then don't. Please leave jeevika.”

“ But…”

“ I said leave jeevika.”

He said in a harsh tone. Hee eyes got teary listening to his tone. And she Left the cabin.  Priti who was standing outside listened to all this and thought of this as her chance to go near Vidhyut and make place in his heart.

Once jeevika left she entered the cabin. Vidhyut turned towards her. Before he can asked she said,

“ Let me help you with this sir”

And started collecting glass pieces before he could refuse. One piece stuck in her hand.  He sat down and took her hand in his. Just that time jeevika entered. He looked at her and then Priti.

“ Vo my phone.” She said with teary eyes and took her phone and left.

He stood up from his place and cursed himself,

“ Fuck.”

He looked priti and said,

“ Leave priti.”

“ But sir….”

“ I said leave,” he shouted from the top of his lungs.

Once she Left he destroyed everything in his cabin. Vihan, his assistant, was shocked with all this because Vidhyut did this type of behavior for the first time.
