Chapter 215

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 215 Untitled

"Yes, Grandpa, she is two years younger than me. In alternative

medicine, the older you are, the better your medical skills are. Your

health is the most important thing. You should think twice!"

Daisy whispered to Liam, but the volume was enough for everyone in

the living room to hear.

"This..." Liam did hesitate.

Cordelia still sat quietly without saying a word.

She suspected in her heart that Milo deliberately arranged for her to

come here to recuperate Liam's body, and Milo must know about the

relationship between Liam and the Kingsley family.

At this time, Eason glanced at Cordelia and asked her what she meant.

Seeing her shaking her head, Eason understood, and did not introduce

anything about Cordelia.

Seeing that Liam hesitated, Daisy said persistently, "Grandpa, do you

want to call your friend again to confirm? I know Ms. Graves, she is a

fashion designer.”

"Oh?" Liam put away his smile, looked at Cordelia seriously and said, "I

think Milo is really confused. It's fine if he doesn't come in person, and

it's really unreasonable to send a new hand to fool me."

Eason said coldly, "Mr. Watts, you also know Mr. Carter's temper, think

twice before speaking.”

People who knew Milo, the master of alternative medicine, knew his

temperament. Whenever a patient doubted him at all, he would

immediately stop the treatment and left.

Even his apprentices were very arrogant when they cured diseases.

People like Cordelia had a good temperament, and they could patiently

give Milo’s friends a little more chance.

Liam sneered, "Eason, I have known Milo for more than sixty years, so I

don't need you to remind me."

However, the words of his precious granddaughter made him murmur

in his heart.

He spared his life and dared not take any risks.

At this time, Cordelia finally said, "Mr. Watts, since this is the case, we

will leave. I will truthfully report your situation in detail to Milo.”

With that said, Cordelia had already got up, picked up the medicine box

and was about to go out.

Daisy suddenly raised her voice and exclaimed, "Stop!"

Cordelia didn't turn her head, let alone hesitate. Instead, she continued

to walk out, with Eason following closely behind.

"Bodyguards, stop them!" Daisy commanded arrogantly.

As soon as these words came out, a group of bodyguards had already

appeared at the door, blocking their way.

Eason turned around, and asked in a cold voice, "Mr. Watts, what is the

meaning of this?"

Liam smiled and looked at Eason before saying, "Don't worry, Daisy

may have something to ask that little girl."

Cordelia turned her head and glanced at Daisy. Then, she said calmly,

"Miss Kingsley, we are not familiar with each other, so I don't want to

communicate with you.”

Daisy smiled and said, "Cordelia, I know that you are unhappy with my

upcoming engagement with Elijah. That's why you pretend to be Milo's

apprentices to sneak into my grandfather's home.

"I advise you, just tell the truth and don't struggle anymore. Stop

pretending! I know exactly what you're capable of.

"If you insist on making such an ugly mess when Elijah finds out, what

do you think will think of you?"

Eason took a step forward and was about to speak when Cordelia

grabbed his sleeve and stopped him.

She opened her mouth lightly, and her perfect lips opened and closed.

Her tone was light, but her words gave people the impression that they

were indeed loud and filled the entire living room.

"I've let you down. I'm Evie Carter. I'm sorry to have disappointed you."

She added, "Furthermore, I declare that the Kingsley family and the

Watts family will be blacklisted forever in contacting with Carters!"
