Chapter 219

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 219 I Won't Marry Anyone Else

Gabe nodded in agreement.

Both of them secretly thought, "It's a pity that Elijah and Cordelia's love

relationship is interrupted by dictatorial Gideon.”

"Then you leave!" Suddenly, Gideon raised his voice with full power.

Elijah squinted his eyes and gradually put away his indifference. He

looked at Gideon coldly and said, "Grandpa, you should take care of

your health at your age. Interfering in others’ business and then getting

angry is not good for your cardiovascular and renal systems.”

"You're being impolite! How could you speak to me this way?" Gideon

banged his cane on the ground

Edith couldn't stand it anymore and reminded, "Gideon, this is

Cordelia's villa, and Elijah is already an adult. You can't interfere in his

affairs like this."

Gideon angrily exclaimed, "Spare the rod and spoil the child. It's all

because you two spoiled him."

Gabe smiled and said, "Dad, then let me discipline Elijah. Your health is

more important.”

"You all..." Gideon coughed as he spoke.

His face turned red, and he started to gasp for breath.

Edith realized something was wrong and quickly said, "Oh no, Gideon is

going to have an old illness attack.”

"Hurry up, let's take him to the hospital,” Gabe said hurriedly.

Cordelia saw that Gideon seemed to be having an asthma attack, so she

quickly took out a bottle of spray from the medicine box and handed it

to Edith.

"Mrs. Hansen, quickly spray it for Sir Hansen.”

Edith's eyes lit up when she saw the spray. "Cordelia, you're always so

thoughtful!"

As she spoke, she quickly sprayed it into Gideon's mouth.

After spraying the medication, Gideon's condition improved after a

while, but his face looked ashen.

Edith earnestly said, "Gideon, you really have to take care of your

health. If it weren't for Cordelia having medicine at home, you might..."

Gabe, who had long not taken over the family business due to his

health, echoed from the side, "Exactly! Dad, you should worry less."

While calming himself down, Gideon said, "Alright, I shouldn't worry

about you guys. When I return, I'll pass on the company I've fought

hard my whole life to Cuttie. You guys can work for them for the rest of

your lives!”

Upon hearing this, both Gabe and Edith fell silent.

Despite their fondness for Cordelia, Cordelia was unable to conceive

now.

Suddenly, Gideon remembered Daisy. He was in a mess during his

illness attack and didn't pay attention to her.

At this moment, Gideon noticed that Daisy was far away, with a terrified

expression on her face.

Gideon felt disappointed. He looked at Cordelia, and his tone became

much calmer after going through the illness attack.

"Cordelia, I have no other choice. I hope you can understand. Since

you're divorced from Elijah, stay away from him and don't affect his

remarriage.”

Cordelia's divorce from Elijah was to fulfill Elijah's wish, and she was

about to speak up to show her stance.

However, Elijah suddenly held her hand and interrupted her, saying,

"Grandpa, except for Cordelia, I won't marry anyone else!"

"You!" Gideon was provoked by Elijah’'s words and about to have

another asthma attack.

"Elijah, stop provoking your grandfather," Daisy said sadly, "Moreover,

where can't I compare to Cordelia?"

"Go away. You can't compare to Cordelia." Elijah glanced at her with

contempt.

His eyes were so disdainful that Daisy felt she was being looked down

upon.

Daisy looked at Elijah in disbelief, feeling that she had lost face.

Clearly, Elijah’s attitude shocked everyone present, especially Cordelia.

Her emotions at the moment were highly complicated.

She murmured to the man who had always stood before her, "Elijah,

you..."

"You make me love and hate you at the same time!" Cordelia didn't say

the second half of the sentence.
