Chapter 23
Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)
Chapter 23 What's Your Problem?
âMr. Victor, you are drunk. I'll send you back home.â
The man looked up, bewildered.
Ben whispered something in his ear, and the man was stunned and said
immediately, âOh, I am drunk indeed.â
Elijah had already left the box with Cordelia in his arms.
Before going out, Cordelia glanced sideways at Eva and gave a cold
smile as if she was mocking her.
âYou want to be with Elijah? Over my dead body!â
Eva was so angry that she felt like beating someone.
Lamia secretly watched the farce. âGood job, Cordelia!â
Elijah dragged Cordelia all the way to the terrace.
It wasn't open for business, so it was pitch dark there.
Elijah forced Cordelia to lean on the railing and pressed his whole body
on her.
âCordelia, I didn't know you could be so promiscuous. How dare you
seduce that man?â
Cordelia smiled. âI'm promiscuous?â
verbal divorce. I don't mind you fooling around with other women
outside. Why do you meddle with my business now?â
Elijah narrowed his eyes. âWhat? Are you interested in Mr. Victor?â
âIt's none of your business. Ah..."
Suddenly, she was lifted into the air, and she was so frightened that she
immediately hung on Elijahâs neck.
The man put Cordelia onto the railing, leaving her entire back hanging
outside.
âElijah, what's your problem?â
Elijah smiled. âNow you are afraid?â
âPut me down!â Cordelia glared at him angrily.
Elijah raised his head and kissed her sexy lips ferociously, which hurt
Cordeliaâs lips.
âHmm... let me down!â Cordelia was a little afraid of heights. She was
worried that this man would go mad and murder her.
Elijah sneered, carried her off the railing, leaned her against the wall,
and forced his long legs into hers.
He didn't stop kissing Cordelia while doing all that. Cordelia resisted,
but she became weaker and weaker. Her lips would swell for sure.
"You smell so good.â Elijah licked his thin lips eagerly.
Cordelia glared at him with shame and anger. She wanted to curse him
but couldn't say a word.
âI'm drunk, and it's a good thing you came. Take me home later.â
Seeing that she didn't speak, Elijah said and pulled her back to the box.
Cordelia suddenly said, âElijah, how could you be so calm?â
âWhat do you mean?â Elijah looked back and examined her.
Cordeliaâs delicate little face became cold.
She was impressed by Elijahâs composure. His wife caught him flirting
with other women, but he didn't panic or explain himself. Instead, he
found fault with his wife!
Suddenly, Eva came over in a wheelchair, followed by Lamia and Ben.
She could tell what happened from Cordeliaâs swollen lips. The three of
them had different expressions.
Eva gritted her teeth and said, âElijah, can you take me home?"
Elijah came to Eva, squatted down, and said patiently, âLet Ben take you
back. I'm too drunk to take care of you.â
Eva immediately grabbed Elijahâs sleeve. âNo! I want you!"
Her eyes became red as she said that, making her seem more pitiful.
Lamia kept rolling her eyes at Eva.
Cordelia quielly clenched her fist behind her back.
How could Eva be so shameless!
Finally, Elijah sighed, âOkay, I'll see you off."
Cordeliaâs eyes turned cold, and she turned to leave.
Someone suddenly clasped her waist, and a manâs voice came from
behind her ear. âDon't go, baby. Can you drive me?â
