Chapter 298

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 298 He Belongs to Another Woman

Hearing the noise inside the room, Cordelia walked in carrying a fruit

platter.

"What's wrong? You look furious.”

Cordelia was quite calm. After all, she didn't check the messages on her

phone.

However, Cordelia could imagine that if she saw them herself, she

would have been infuriated as well!

After all, the whole of Beilve City was laughing at her now.

Imogen puffed up her cheeks angrily. "This Laura is really disgusting.

Weren't you not friends with her anymore? She sent you a message,

making sure you knew it was her, and signed it with her own name."

"Is she mocking me?" Cordelia asked, smiling, "She acts as if she's the

one engaged to Elijah.”

Imogen widened her eyes and asked, "Cordelia, I really admire you.

How can you still laugh about this?"

Cordelia gradually restrained her smile and said seriously, "Imogen,

don't you think I'm lucky? It allowed me to see through a scumbag

early on."

Imogen felt that Cordelia's words made sense as well.

Imogen sighed helplessly and continued to check the messages for

Cordelia.

Just then, Adam returned, bringing Eason with him.

He walked in and immediately complained about being hot, saying he

wanted to eat some fruit.

Cordelia naturally went to the kitchen to cut some fruit again for him.

Eason furrowed his brow and came to the kitchen doorway. "Cordelia,

don't spoil Adam. Let him do it himself."

"It's okay, just a small thing,” Cordelia gently replied.

Eason approached and helped her wash the fruit, skillfully peeling and

cutting it.

Cordelia looked at Eason in surprise. "Eason, are you a cook? Your knife

skills are amazing.”

Eason chuckled and said, "Since I was young, I've always wanted to be a

chef, a tailor, and a driver, so I can do all three."

Eason said it with obvious confidence.

During this time, Cordelia watched him in amazement as he prepared

the fruit. Before long, Eason had finished and arranged it in a beautiful

presentation.

And then, the two of them went to the living room together.

Cordelia expected everyone to discuss the exquisite fruit platter, but

Imogen grabbed her hands and pulled her toward her room.

"Hey, hey, slow down." Cordelia anxiously looked at Imogen's belly.

"Cordelia, I want to show you something. You can be angry, you can be

angry, but please don't get too worked up, okay?" Imogen said

cautiously.

"Is it some gossip about Elijah?" Cordelia asked calmly, and her face

filled with scorn, "No matter what he's doing, for whatever reason, I

won't care anymore. Let him be!"

In Cordelia's mind, Elijah had already missed the chance to explain

himself from the beginning, so there was no need for any explanation

from now on.

"Alright, take a look!" Imogen took out her phone.

These photos were just sent by Adam. Each one was in high definition,

and there could be no misunderstandings.

When Cordelia saw Clare smiling at the man beside her in the coffee

shop, her eyes filled with unmistakable admiration.

Seeing this scene, Cordelia couldn't help but feel a sense of

disappointment deep in her heart.

Elijah was her man before, but now, he belonged to another woman.

"Cordelia, last night Elijah secretly met with Clare in the coffee shop,

and they went to an apartment together. It seems like it's in the same

neighborhood as your little apartment!"
