Chapter 319

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 319 Pretend

In that case, Elijah naturally followed Cordelia.

What Cordelia didn't expect was that Samuel and Jenny prepared a villa

for her.

This villa was located on the hillside with beautiful scenery, and it

looked like an old house with signs of renovation.

Jenny took Cordelia around the house and said, "Miss Carter, how is

this place? Are you satisfied with the environment here?"

Cordelia nodded. "Thank you. I like it very much.”

"Miss Carter, you can call me at any time when you need my help in

Bloom City, and I will do my best to help you," Jenny said sincerely.

"Okay, I will." Cordelia smiled lightly.

The two came to the yard together, talking and laughing.

At that time, Elijah and Samuel were enjoying the cool breeze and

smoking under a big tree.

Seeing Cordelia and Jenny coming out, Elijah immediately put out the

cigarette.

Seeing his conscious action, Samuel smiled lightly and also put out the

cigarette.

"Well, you two haven't seen each other for a long time, right? We will

go first. You can enjoy your time,” Jenny said and was about to take

Samuel to leave.

Cordelia quickly asked, "Elijah, don't you leave with them?"

"No. I will stay here a little longer. I have to go to a banquet tonight, so

I'll just leave when it is time," Elijah said in a casual tone.

Cordelia gritted her teeth. She had expected this.

So, after seeing Samuel and Jenny off, Cordelia immediately put on a

sullen face. "You can do what you want. Please don't disturb me. Thank

you."

"Cordelia." Elijah came to her with strides.

Cordelia looked at him warily. "What are you doing?”

"Don't move." Elijah raised his hand and picked up a petal from her hair

like playing a magic trick.

Cordelia took two steps back awkwardly and said, "Is everything okay

this time?"

"We will always have something to do.” Elijah smiled.

Cordelia glared at him, turned around, and left.

Elijah grabbed her quickly and pulled her to sit on a bench in the yard.

"Miss Carter, I just want to be your Facebook friend. I hope you will

consider it again,” Elijah stopped smiling and said seriously.

Cordelia sneered, "You guys are still harassing me whenever you want,

even if we are not friends.”

Elijah frowned slightly, thought about it carefully, and realized that

Cordelia was talking about him and Clare.

Of course, what Cordelia said actually included Laura.

Elijah didn't like Cordelia’s words. It seemed that she thought he and

Clare were on the same side.

Of course, in Cordelia's view, they were on the same side.

They were both good at acting.

"Since you don't want to, then... please don't blacklist my new number

again. I can assure you that I won't harass you anymore,” Elijah said

sincerely.

In this way, at least Elijah could call Cordelia if he wanted to talk to her.

Cordelia raised her eyebrows. "Elijah, you don't have to be so humble."

Elijah deserved what he suffered today.

The more he behaved like this, the more Cordelia felt that he was too

good at pretending, especially pretending to be pitiful.
