Chapter 322 Tell Elijah

Cordelia was having dinner with Eason, Adam, and Imogen. They were

talking and laughing. Suddenly, the incoming text message alert rang.

She thought it was some kind of notification message, so she glanced

at it casually but saw the first word of the message was "Evie".

So, she picked her mobile up and checked the text message. Her

eyebrows gradually frowned.

Imogen had already noticed Cordelia's movements. She came forward

with a smile and asked, "Let me see! Is it a message of expressing love

from a man?"

The next second, she saw the message content and immediately got

angry.

Her angry expression was even more severe than that of Cordelia.

"Cordelia, can you bear this?"

Cordelia darkened the phone screen and said flatly, "It has nothing to

do with me if he gets married or divorced.”

Adam and Eason also heard her words. They looked at each other in

unison, but neither asked her anything.

annoying.

Cordelia didn't take that text message seriously, but Imogen did.

She took Cordelia's mobile phone, put it in front of Cordelia, and

unlocked the screen with her face. After that, she took a picture of the

message with her mobile phone.

"What are you doing?" Cordelia asked.

Imogen snorted, "That bastard dared to send a message and provoke

She thought Imogen would share this matter with Ben and criticize the

from Elijah.

"Did Laura send this message to Cordelia?"

It was an unknown number. Elijah was not sure about the sender. But

might be Laura,

Imogen stood up, walked away from the dining table, and rolled her

telling Cordelia about the things between you and Clare.

continue sending messages to Cordelia.”

Elijah’s tone was cold. "Well. I see.”

responsibility for the trouble between you and Cordelia! You'd better

take some action, Elijah.”

Imogen had a fake smile, and her voice was contemptuous. She

thought, "Humph! Don't underestimate me!"

Before hanging up the phone, Elijah said, "Thank you, Imogen.”

Although his response was short, Imogen understood a lot from it.

He probably knew nothing about what Laura and Clare had done

before.

"The squeaky wheel that gets oiled. Cordelia has been too proud to tell

Elijah about these trifles. Fortunately, she has a good friend like me.”

Imogen murmured and returned to her seat happily. Just after she sat

down, she heard Adam say, "Cordelia, I want to ask you a question. For

example, if you break up with your boyfriend one day, will you consider

your pursuer?"

Imogen immediately looked at Cordelia with a gossiping look, staring

at her beautiful eyes and waiting intently for her answer.
