Chapter 365 Something Happened Between You and Eason

Cordelia shrank her neck and wrapped her arms around Elijah’s neck.

"Do you like me because you like sleeping with me?"

Elijah chuckled, and his tone was casual. "The only thing I knew about

you at first was your body.

"As I gradually noticed many aspects of you, I began to like you.

"You always surprise me, just like in bed.”

Hearing Elijah’s titillating words, Cordelia blushed.

How could Elijah be so straightforward?

Suddenly, Elijah stood up and carried her up. "Baby, shall I take you up

to sleep?”

"OK," Cordelia responded softly and buried her red face into Elijah’s

chest.

Elijah did not stop flirting with Cordelia.

When the atmosphere was romantic, the phone charging on the

bedside table suddenly rang.

Cordelia pushed Elijah away and reached out to take the phone over.

Then, she picked it up.

Elijah saw the caller ID on the screen.

It was Eason.

It was late. Elijah didn't know why Eason always called Cordelia so late.

Elijah was unhappy, so he bit Cordelia's shoulder.

Cordelia felt the pain.

"What's wrong, Cordelia?"

Cordelia bit her lip. "Nothing. Eason, what did you say? Did Mrs. Mia

Holland come to Beilve City again?"

"Yes, she left this morning and didn't tell me. I just knew it." Eason was

disappointed.

Elijah heard what Cordelia said and stopped bullying her.

Elijah knew what Mia would do in Beilve City without even thinking

about it.

Cordelia chatted with Eason for a while before hanging up the phone.

Then, Cordelia came to the balcony connected to the bedroom and saw

Elijah smoking.

Just when they were in bed, Elijah had taken off his shirt, so he was

standing on the balcony topless.

He had a smooth back, wide shoulders, and a narrow waist without fat.

That was enough to make many women fascinated with him without

looking at his face.

Cordelia stepped forward and hugged him from behind. "Did you hear

just now? Mrs. Mia Holland has come to Beilve City. Elijah, you'd better

pay more attention to your mother to prevent Mrs. Mia Holland from

provoking again.”

Although Mia might not do that, Cordelia had to guard against that.

"OK." Elijah threw away the cigarette butt. He turned around and

hugged Cordelia in his arms. "Does he often call you so late?"

"No, Eason usually contacts me when something happens. That

happened suddenly today, and he just apologized to me for calling so

late,” Cordelia said truthfully.

Elijah noticed Cordelia's tone when she talked to Eason. She was not as

close to Eason as she used to be.

Although Cordelia was no longer close to Eason, which made Elijah

satisfied, he couldn't help but think about it.

Why was there such a change? Did something happen between them?

"Cordelia, did something happen between you and Eason?" Elijah

asked.

Cordelia was stunned. Then, she shook her head. "Nothing. He wanted

to live with me, but I rejected him."

It was within Elijah's expectations.

For a moment, Elijah felt that a storm was blowing in all his cells.
