“He’s right, Mr. Higgins. We are bodyguards, and we usually have to wear something loose. It would be a waste of money if you also bought us suits.”

“You can wear them whenever you want. There will be plenty of times for you to accompany me to important occasions. You must look sharp!”

Adrien checked the System secretly, and it didn’t object to him. Instead, the EXP on the control panel increased to 10 million points.

Adrien was a good–looking man, and the tailor–made suit chosen in the morning made him look sharp but elegant, superior but restrained. Darcy and Sylvia had never seen their boss like this. They were slightly taken aback by his appearance.

“What? Do I look old in this suit?”

“No. Mr. Higgins. You look amazing. You will overshadow the movie stars if they are here.”

“You flatter me, Darcy. I’m just an ordinary man. Let’s hit the road.”

Darncil slowly stopped the car at the entrance of the Crown Emperor Hotel. Before Adrien got out of the car, Sylvia and Angus came out first to clear the road, and then Darcy and Ethan got out to help Adrien.

Everyone looked dashing in their top suits!

The usher was confused when he saw Adrien come out of the Bentley car. He had no idea who Adrien was, not to mention Adrien’s staff members. However, the usher still greeted everyone warmly.

“Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Crown Emperor Auction of Reburg. May I see your invitation letters. please?”

Sylvia gave three invitation letters to the usher.

The usher was stunned! The people in front of him would sit in the VIP seats of the first row, right in the middle! Only truly powerful men could have access to those seats. However, this handsome young man in the middle of the group had three invitation letters. He must be….

The usher couldn’t even imagine how powerful this man was! He just ushered them in cordially.

“Mr. Higgins, bodyguards are not allowed to go inside. Therefore, Darneil and we will wait for you outside.”

“Okay. Find someplace to have a rest.”

Adrien, Sylvia, and Darcy followed the usher and entered the hotel. The usher even spared Adrien the trouble of capital verification. Just as Adrien and his staff passed the desk for capital verification, Lilianne and Celia finished their capital verification.

“Ms. Olson, isn’t that Mr. Higgins?”

I’m not sure. I only saw his back Lilianne began to regret coming here today. However, she couldn’t miss out on this opportunity because she heard that Hester West, the president of Reburg Treasury Bank, would attend the auction too.

As Adrien entered, he said, “I have to use the restroom. You guys wait for a moment.”

“Oh, I have to use it too, Mr. Higgins “Sure, let’s go.

Darcy is a woman, Mr. Higgins. She can’t go with you.”

I was kidding? Adrien laughed Grapici 21 Lilianne and Celia didn’t see Adrien when they got inside, but they saw Hester, who sat on the first row on the side, having a good time chatting with the president of Golden Mountain Group.

“Ms. West, long time no see.” Lilianne greeted Hester, which surprised Hester a bit.

“Ah, yes. It’s been some time, Ms. Olson.” Hester glanced at Lilianne coldly. She had been expecting Adrien. He had become a premium customer of Treasury Bank since he banked a cheque for more than 114 million dollars in her bank. Adrien spent the money soon, but his personal account received over 1.6 billion dollars from the Development Department just the other day, which made Adrien’s account one of the top ten personal accounts in the country. Hester was praised and rewarded by her boss in Sunrise City for having such a rich man as her customer. Therefore, Hester was disappointed not to see Mr. Higgins in the auction.

“Ms. West, may I have a word with you?” Lilianne asked.

“What is it, Ms. Olson? The auction is about to begin.”

“You didn’t know what happened in Corestar Group, did you, Ms. West? Two cargo ships carrying goods worth over 300 million dollars imported by the Corestar Trading Company sank in the ocean the other day. Ms. West, did your bank loan that money to her?”

“Zip it. David Hamilton! It’s none of your business!” Lilianne snapped, her face darkening.

“Is it true, Ms. Olson?” Hester asked.

“Well… it’s true. We are still investigating the incident. About the bank loan…”

Hester squinted at Lilianne first, then Celia, and said, “Ms. Olson. As I understand it, Mr. Higgins is the biggest boss of your company. He’s right here in Reburg. All the influential people in Reburg are here today for the auction. Why isn’t he here?”

“Huh? You know Mr. Higgins?”

“Oh, I’ve got it! It was you who gave an internal call to Ms. Olson’s office and asked about Mr. Higgins the other day.” Celia said to Hester in amazement.

“Yes, it was me. Mr. Higgins is one of the top ten premium customers of our bank. I would say yes to him if he came to me on behalf of Corestar Group. However, you came to me instead. So, it’s a hard no. Your creditworthiness and deposit in our bank are no rival to Mr. Higgins.”

Hester’s words left Lilianne dumbfounded Lilianne had no idea how wealthy Adrien was!

“Who is Mr. Higgins, Ms. West David asked.

“He’s the biggest shareholder of Corestar Group I don’t know how many personal assets he has, but he has over one billion dollars in our Treasury Bank. Rich people like him usually live in Sunrise City and Trified, but he is living right here in Reburg”

“Really? He has a deposit of more than one billion dollars! Wow, this new boss of Corestar Group must be powerful!”

Tell me about it! However, someone seemed to have despised this powerful man entirely.”

Hester and David ignored Lilianne and Celia and resumed their conversation.
