“Wait!” A voice sounded from the crowd.

Everyone looked over and saw a small figure walking out from the crowd.

When the woman saw that it was actually a child calling out to her, she instantly changed her previous nervous mood.

Ye Xun hid behind the child in fear.

The child rejected everyone’s kindness and pulled Ye Xun’s hand towards the park not far away.

The two of them walked to the small pavilion in the park and sat down.

Ye Xun wiped his arm from the fall with his handkerchief.

The child kept staring at Ye Xun’s face, as if he was thinking about something.

After Ye Xun was done treating his injuries, he smiled at the child. “Thank you so much for what you did! My name is Ye Xun, what’s yours?”

Ye Xun looked at the child’s face carefully and a bold idea appeared in his mind.

Perhaps, this was the person her mother had been looking for all these years!
