He Must’ve Gone Crazy (2)

Pei Qiqi shook her head. She didn’t want to trouble Chen Xinjie all the time. Plus, she could still endure.

Chen Xinjie sighed, “Qiqi, you are wasting your good looks.”

Pei Qiqi knew what she meant and didn’t comment. She merely smiled and listened to class….

The next lesson was done by 2:30 pm. She rushed to the bathroom to change and then took a cab to Sheng Yuan.

Ever since she found out Tang Yu was the President of Sheng Yuan, she had been wearing one set of clothes when she left Summer City then changed before going to Sheng Yuan.

In the taxi, she tied up her hair and used her lipstick. After putting up those thick frames, the taxi driver shook his head, “Young lady, you are actually really pretty. Why would you do that to yourself? Are you going to some costume event?”

“Yes!” Pei Qiqi went ahead with his story and then secretly checked herself out in the mirror. She looked pretty deceitful.

When she reached Sheng Yuan, it was exactly 3:00 pm. She quickly went to change into her uniform and reported to HR. Ms. Wen wasn’t there today and the assistant manager Xiaoning was in charge.

Guan Xiaoning was in her early 30s and wasn’t married. When Ms. Wen was away, she liked it when the others call her manager, instead of assistant manager.

Pei Qiqi stood before her. Guan Xiaoning stared at her lipstick. Manager Guan’s lipstick was actually darker than hers….n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

“You are the new hire?” Guan Xiaoning checked out Pei Qiqi’s uniform and found it to be an eyesore.

Was it necessary for an intern to wear the uniform? Especially for her to wear it in such an… alluring manner?

However, for her to mess up her face like this, Manager Guan was happy. Or else everyone in Sheng Yuan would be outside the HR door right now. Guan Xiaoning had seen what Pei Qiqi actually looked like.

Pei Qiqi glanced at her and knew right away she wasn’t a kind woman. Her heart skipped a beat but she smiled anyway, “Yes.”

Guan Xiaoning swung her heels and left while clicking her heels.

Xiao Liu slid over in her chair and said in a small voice, “That demon’s about to cause trouble. Ms. Wen’s days off are the worst!”

Just then, the sound of heels clicking arrived again. Xiao Liu gave her a look and returned to her spot.

Guan Xiaoning brought with her a chubby looking girl. With a serious expression, she said, “She’s new, she started today. She’s going to take over your responsibilities…”

Pei Qiqi waited quietly but Xiao Liu secretly shot her a look. As expected, Guan Xiaoning continued, “Today, we are missing a few cleaners. Pei Qiqi, you should take charge of cleaning the first floor. There’s no need for you to wear a uniform. I’ll ask someone to bring up the cleaner’s uniform!”

This was obviously to make fun of her. Pei Qiqi didn’t understand. But she didn’t say anything. She merely nodded.

Her uniform was given to the chubby girl. It took over 10 minutes for her to get into the uniform and cover herself up.

Pei Qiqi and Xiao Liu both helped and were sweating from this project!

But good things never last. In the end, that uniform was ripped apart. The threads broke and all her fat squeezed out…

The image was beautiful!

Xiao Liu rolled her eyes, “Guan Xiaoning is troubling us on purpose! Truly when the tiger is away, the monkey calls himself king.”

Pei Qiqi laughed but Xiao Liu felt unfair for her, “Look at you laughing. You are being asked to mop the floor.”

“It’s all physical labor anyway. There’s no difference!” Pei Qiqi was optimistic.

The chubby girl stood there with her fat. Her face was a little red. “I’m sorry I stole your job.”
