Chapter 10: Brother

James POV'

Its been three days since the pack meetings and know about me being their alpha's mate. And now they are giving me respects the same as the alpha.

It is really a boring day I missed my best friends. We didn't even talk anymore. Since Angie found her mate she give all her time and attention to Jasper. Even though I'm always in alpha's office with my mate to help him to some paper works there I didn't see Angie with Jasper. And if I ask him about her he will just say 'she's with her friends' or 'she's at home having some rest'. And I don't want to say I'm jealous about it but that is what I'm feeling right now.

And for Matt since his father passed down the tittle to him as the pack warrior leader, he just spend most of his time to prison cell where they interrogate the rouge that they've caught during the last attack. And I'm having a weird feelings about it. I really want to go there and see how they interrogate a captured rouge to give us information.

The knocking on the door snap me out from my thoughts and one of the warrior come in "Alpha we want you at the prison cell to help us to interrogate the captured rouges. He didn't even give us a piece of information yet."

Knowing that Adam is really busy right now I just did what I need to do. And I'm really want to visit that prison cell, I've never been there. "I'll go there and help just continue your work here Adam" I said to them and turn to Adam to give him my brightest smile.

He just stared at me and he looks hesitant at first but gave in none the least "okay, but be careful just mind link me if anything goes out of control" he said firmly to me. And I just give a nod and I follow the pack warrior who lead the way to the prison cell.

"How many rouges did you capture?" I asked the pack warrior just to break the silence.

"Just only one s-sir" he said nervously "hmmm Liam sir, by the way" he continue.

I smile at him "nice to meet you Liam"

"Were already here sir" he said and I look at the building it looks like an apartment building than a prison cell but I can still some smells in there specially blood. And I can smell something familiar there, its faint but I can still recognize it. I know most of the pack member didn't smell it.

"Liam, show me the way" I told him and he start walking. I feel something weird here.

We stop in a cell where the rouge are held captive. The smell is coming from him. I spotted Matt beside him with some pack warriors with whip in their hands.

And when I walk closer "oh my Matt! You look terrible. What happen to you?" I shout and I got the attention of all the people in the cell. I can see the way Matt look at the rouge. I can see something in his eyes love, passion, hurt and more.

The rouge looks lifeless too. What did they do? Is this the way they interrogate? And my blood boiled thinking about it.

"I'm fine James don't worry" Matt said but I don't believe him.

"Follow me Matt, let's talk" I said to him seriously. He follow me and find a place that no one can hear us.

"Now tell me. I want to clear my suspension about something, you look terrible and you look like you've been dejected or something" I told him a matter-of-factly

He turn away his face not able to look me in the eye. He know me well that I will not stop until he spit it out.

"MATTHEW ANDERSON!" I shout at him and that make him jump and his gaze back to me.

"Please James can we just talk about it another time. Not now please" he pleaded and I just nodded at him since we still have important things to do.

I back to the cell where the pack warrior whipping the rouge again to give us I formation. And my heart stings witnessing it. All you can hear in the room is the scream of the rouge. I look at Matt because he has the power to stop them but he looked away. Shit! I know now. And before they can hit the rouge again I shout at them

"STOP!!!" They all turn to me with terrified expressions.

"Luna we are just interrogating him and he refuse to give us information and even his name" one of the warriors said fidgeting.

"Shut up I do t want to hear your lame excuse. Is that the way you interrogate, huh? And if it is and he refuse to give you information just kill him since you can get nothing from him" I heard Matt gasped "But I will not let you" I said firmly and determined.

I walk towards the rouge who look at me the whole time and as I got closer to him something inside of me ignited. Like there is a bond between us and I know it is not a

mate bond.

I kneeled down to look at him in the eye and he look at me too and smile. Smile? Did he just smile at me?

"What's your name?" I ask him

"S-sh-shaw-n sir" he said stuttering and I know its because of his troat who is sore from screaming.

"Okay Shawn, why not tell me something?" I smile at him and knowing that he can't answer me directly because of his condition. I transform in my wolf worm and I started licking him to close and heal all his wound. "Now tell me".I said to him after healing him.

"Hmm can we talk in private... And can you stay?" He ask looking at Matt and I smirk at him. Matt nod and I order the other guards to leave us.

"Can you tell me now?" I asked him again.

"You really look like Father,brother. I only get moms look. And you can see that I have famine look but still you can tell that were siblings" he started smiling at me and it makes me speechless of what I heard. Did he really mean that?

"How can you prove that? And I didn't even meet my parents" I told him

"Yeah you didn't because of some circumstances and I'm only two years younger than you." He said and look up to Matt " Hi Mate".

I just smile at them and I think this will be a long day.
