Chapter 12: Big Bad Alpha

Adam POV'

Shit!shit!shit! He looks scary. It is like he's going to kill me any second now. How come I didn't notice it. They almost like the same and there's a faint scent that I can recognize and it the same as him.

Now I'm here like a cat afraid of being killed or devour by its predator. I'm pacing back and forth in my office with my beta, Jasper watching me and I can see the amusement glittering in his eyes. How stupid he is I hope he could help about it.

Ugh! Its depressing me to think about it and knowing my mate will be here any second now to kill me. I know it is really stupid that I'm acting like this and I am know as a Big Bad Alpha, but hey, I'm talking about my mate here and the way he face me earlier I can see that he want to kill me even though I'm his mate.

"Can you just stop pacing like your going to die any time soon and just relax?" Jasper voice out finally and I think he is really tired of watching like a paranoid one.

"How can you say that, huh? Did you see his face earlier when he face me like he want to rip me and skin me alive? Did you hear how he sounds like? His voice, there is so much venom in it." I stated to him. Its really the truth I'm really thinking almost an hour now.

"I know, I know but the way you acted will not really help you. And besides he's not here yet." H said the last sentence like a whisper but I can still here.

I sit on my chair to make my self relax and calm. I rub my hands on my face "gosh! I'm really going to die now." I murmur.

After a couple minute waiting for my mate to come I didn't know that I almost take a nap but when the door slam open and I didn't even smell him behind the door. Shit! He look pissed.

"B-ba-be l-let me ex-xplain" fuck I'm stuttering.

"Oh! What will you explain to me? That you didn't seem to recognize that he is almost look the same as me? You didn't even catch the faint scent that I'm sharing with him? TELL ME!!!" He yell the last part that makes the glass in the room crack and some got broken.

"Yeah I didn't be-because.." I didn't have an excuse here. Shit.

"You didn't because you are consumed by your anger. Did you think how painful it is to see him in bridge of dying because he was beaten up by your stupid and arrogant warrior? How they torture him, whip him and punch him just to get a piece of that fucking information.

And don't you know what makes me angry? I went there and saw my best friend there like a walking dead. He saw bow your warriors beaten up his mate and his afraid that if his father know this he will be forced to reject his mate or worse they kill him. I saw how terrible Matt look like.

But I know I can't blame you." He stated his long speech and its takes time for me to process the things he said and really like what?. Matt the new pack head warrior mated to his brother. And he saw his mate bested up during the interrogation. I can imagine it how painful for him to see it.

"I'm so sorry. Really I'm so sorry." I don't have any hung to say I'm really lost of some words. My mind can't think of what I'm going to say. I know that I'm acting like I used to be but now I have my mate and the Luna of the pack. Maybe, maybe it help me to run this pack properly and we really need to talk about it.

"I'm sorry I'm acting like this I just can't help myself about what happen. A d I understand it too, in your part. I'm so sorry" I watch him in shock in a sudden change of his mood. He crying now and I approach him and give a warm hug and comfort him anyway possible. I whisper some soothing words to him to calm him down.

"Its okay babe, everything is okay now babe" I said to him while rubbing his back.

"No its not, my brother already had a hard time in his life and his so young to experience those awful things happened to him. He show me everything. He said we need to prepare for a war against our parents.

They leading a pack of rouge wolf to get us to fulfill their desire. But for now we need to wait for my brother to wake up and we held a pack meeting to inform them and were going back here to make some war tactics considering our situation right now"

I listen to him carefully and I watch him stunned by him how can he changed his mood immediately but happy none the least.

"Okay, we'll do that babe but for now rest."

I told him firmly. And I try to look where my beta is but he is nowhere to be found.

"Hey, where are you?" I mind link him. And he replied immediately.

"Ohh, I went out to search for my mate. Its scary to look at James and I can't stand it. He's more scary than you." He stated with a chuckle and I can't blame because what he said is true.

"Yeah I know. But now we need to prepare for a pack meeting and we will start it when James's brother wake up" I told him he just reply with a "yes".

I look down to watch my mate who's still in my arms and I didn't notice that he already passed out. I carry him to our room and out him in bed.

Its been really long day and its not done yet.
