Chapter 18: A Visit

Shawn's POV

I've never imagined that I would fine such rare creature here. And an old soul is one of the rarest supernatural creature in the surface of the earth. An old soul, is a soul who separated from his human body after the death of it. It stay here in the surface of the earth and wondering and searching for a body to live again. They search for centuries to find the perfect body for them. They usually chose an unborn creatures like a baby that still in the womb of its mother. But as far as I know too that old soul only chose human for them to be able to control their body perfectly at the age of 8. And knowing Kyle is a werewolf is totally a surprised to me. And he will turn eight next week.

He's wolf will come at the age of 15 and it will be confusing for him since he has 3 creatures in his body, he's human identity, wolf, and the old soul. But what I'm happy about is that he knows how to fight and by next week he can use already he's old soul ability which is helpful for the up coming battle. I'm gonna train him for two months since werewolves only give birth in three months.

Now, I'm going to visit a place where people of ages were in. And I know they know everything, specially of what's in this pack. It will be risky and it might cause a commotion but I need to do it and I need to prepare myself since I don't want anything to happen to my baby.

Relaxing my body and chanting a few spell then there I am. In the building where all the elders and former alphas whereabouts. And immediately I was greeted by three guards.

G1(Guard1): (coming forward to meet me) hello sir, what cause you to visit such place?

Me: Well, I just want to talk to the people in there. It's really important. So, can you let me in?

G2: But we can't let you in here. This place is secluded and only those who has permission can go inside. So, it's better for you to go home.

G3: I guess we can contact someone in there. He said its really important so we can give it a try if they will let him in. (the third guard on the side suggested)

Me: Well, thanks for that and I hope you can give it a try because it's really important. (I can see that the first guard who approach me is talking to someone through mind link)

G1: They can't let you in since they're in the top floor having their meeting.

Me: I guess it can't be helped.

After I said that the three guards were already in their combat positions.

"Don't you dare make a move. We're not just a mere guard here." Someone said and I don't who said it because I'm focusing chanting. And before they can launch at me, I'm already in the room where the elders and the former alphas having their meeting.

Me: Hello ladies and gentlemen, greetings from the great white witch of the century. (I said with a booming sounds that really echoes through out the room. And a lady in her forties stand and she has a pendant in her chest that says Lyra)

Lyra: I guess it is Shawn, James's brother. (I nodded) And what makes you pay us a visit here and knowing that you know that we're in the middle of a meeting.

Me: Well, I guess you already know why I'm here and I know that the agenda of your meeting is me finding out about Kyle. And with that I want all the details for the preparation for the upcoming battle.(I said firmly. And someone try to throw lightning at me but it just gone back at him. "Reflection" I mumbled.)

Samuel: Don't act hastily you idiot. You didn't know who he is. (Elder Samuel said to Lucas. They all have their pendant that serveas their name tags. And I didn't told you that the one who's in here was the top or strongest elders and alpha in the pack. Each one of them can easily kill an alpha but they can't kill me.)

Me: I'm not here to cause a commotion. I'm here to discuss something really important. And don't you dare try to use your powers to me because I'm telling you, It's futile.

Samuel: okay can we all relaxed and discuss this things out? (After hearing what I and Samuel said, the rest just nodded and take their seats)

Me: Okay, you know that your pack was the biggest pack in the world. And knowing that you have such rare creatures in here. I guess that you know about it. (They all nodded and I continue.) I'm here to talk about Kyle since I know already about me and my brother. I want Kyle to be with me and I'll be the one who'll train him and of course with my brother. You know, old souls can be easily trained and can be stronger in no time.

Lyra: But we can't just trust Kyle to you knowing that you are new in this pack.

Me: I know that but I want you all to trust me. And I'm not that dumb to endanger my baby and mate. And also, it's my duty to protect the whole pack too. I'm really sincere about this matter. You all know that I put some protective barrier in the pack so that the enemy can't locate nor sense us. And what scared me the most is the time that I gave birth will be the time my parents will locate us and attack us because I can't hold the barrier any longer when that time comes.

Lyra: We are aware of that Shawn but you know that with all the elders and everyone in the pack we can win this battle.

Me: Don't underestimate your opponents Lyra. If I can kill you all alone here then my mom can do the same. You can kill all the rouges but not my parents and I know you know that. That's why I need Kyle in this.

Samuel: He's right. We know how strong that woman was. We are no match with her specially she's gone for about 18 years now. And we can already tell that she masters already such ancients spells. (Everyone went silent after hearing what Samuel said.)

Jeff: I agree to this. We should let Shawn and James train Kyle. This is for the sake of us. And I trust him with this job. And don't forget that we still have the council to take care of.

They just all nodded and some of them just stay silent and listen to the rest of the conversation and about the plans. And knowing that the council got already some information about this pack it will be too hard for us. The council is totally greedy when in comes to power.
