Chapter 4: Confused

Adam POV'

What the hell happen in there. I got speechless and it just like I forgot how to talk at that time. It is embarrassing that I'm the Alpha and he's only an omega yet I can't talk back to him. The way he look at me. That fierce brown eyes of him. Those lips that moves when he speaks and the way I hear his voice. Its like I'm listening to a lullaby. I got hypnotized by it. I want to touch him. Hug him. Kiss him.

My wolf keep screaming at me. He want me to mark our mate. Make him ours. Forever. But I can't do it. Even facing him or hearing him I can't do it even though how much I love it.

Its been a week since we found out that we were mate. I know I'm giving him a lot of negative thoughts. That I might don't like him because he is a guy, maybe I will reject him because his an omega and he is weak to be the Luna of this pack. But he is wrong. I love the way he is. But I think I need the right time to come for us to be together.

And now I'm so proud of what he did to the bitch. I know you will judge me as an asshole but Celina is only my slut and I don't have any feelings for her and I know that I made a mistake for that. But the way she treated James is unforgivable. I need to control myself or even my wolf at bay. I don't want to hurt her.

And now knowing that she got thrown by my mate, I'm so happy that he didn't even let Celina bully or discriminate him.

I know who is James. Not just his name but who he is. My dad told me before he went to the council.

Flash back:

"Son, now you have the title of an alpha. I want you to know a certain thing. Its about someone in the pack." My dad told me and by looking at his expression it is really a serious matter. Its making me confuse why, but I decided to listen to him.

"Who is it dad?" I asked Stoll confused.

"Its James Clark, one of our omega here in the pack." He said with something in his voice that I can't recognize.

"What is it about him? He is just an omega dad." I told him with an irritating sound. His making me more confuse about it. He is only talking about someone who is an omega.

"He is not just an ordinary person here in the pack, Adam. There is something more about him. But I want to tell you that you need to treat him well unlike for those other omegas who is been bullied by the pack member. He is not born from the family of omega. And he is not weak too. He can even as strong as the alpha when the time comes. But for now just keep an eye on him." He told me and it shock me and I don't know what dad means about it. That he is not born from an omega family and if he is not that weak the same as the other omega why did he put him under the omegas care. Why did he not adopted him instead?

There are lot of questions I want to ask him but before I can even do it he got up and said a good bye to me and walk outside.

End of the Flash back.

"...pha. Alpha?!" Jasper my beta calling me and waking me up from my thoughts.

"What is it Jasper?" I ask him.

Jasper is my best friend. We've been known each since we were kids and that because of our dads. His dad is the beta of my dad, the previous alpha of the pack and now working in the council.

"Why did you let that omega treat you like that?" He ask and that caught me off guard.

Honestly I don't know how to answer his question. I know were best friends and we never keep secrets from each other. But if I told him that James is my mate I don't know what will be his reaction.

"I don't know Jas why I didn't talked back to him" I just said it not knowing what I am saying.

"Ahem!" He cleared his throat and look at me with a knowing look. He is really smart and wise. And he really know me well.

"Is he your..... MATE?!" he continue and shout at me. It caught me off guard again.

Am I ready to tell anyone about it? What if he will tell the others about it? What if... What if.... 'Shut up!' My wolf scream in my head.

'What?' I ask to him.

'Stop, what are you thinking you jerk, huh? He is our mate and I don't care what people say about it. As long as I'm with my soulmate, the love of life, I will be grateful about it. So if you do something that I will don't like I swear to you, you will regret it.' My wolf scolded me. He is always like this but I love him.

'Yeah I know Alvec you don't need to told me about that. And to tell you I love him too. I know you know that well' I told him.

"Hey!!! You didn't answer my question and you keep spacing out dude." Jasper shout once again and cut my conversation with my wolf.

"Can you just stop shouting Jasper! Are you trying break my ear drum?!" I told him using my alpha tone.

"Okay okay but you didn't answer my question yet" he said calmly.

"Ahmm, okay... What if I tell you that he is indeed my mate"I ask feeling nervous.

"What is wrong about that Adam, he is your mate and the moon goddess gave him to you and you should be grateful. Don't you know why? Because this pack will become more stronger if we have a boy luna" he said with a grin attach in his face.

I can't help but to smile at him.

"So its true that he is your mate?" He ask smiling.

"Yeah he is my mate but I can't claim him right now and I know he knows already too that we were mate." He tried to open his mouth and I know what he will going to say so I cut him off " and yeah I know you will ask about Celina and I will talk to her as soon as she is okay. I think James got a big number to her." I told him firmly.

"Okay if that is what you want. I hope it will not take too long and you will introduce to everyone our Luna." He smirk and wink at me.

"Yeah yeah, so that's enough we need to rest. And Jasper I know you found your mate already and if you don't tell me as soon as possible you will regret it. I told you mine." I told him with a serious expression in my face.

"Ohh.. Uh.. Hmm.. Yeah soon" he said stuttering. I really want to laugh at his reaction and with his facial expression.

After we talked we go to our perspective room and take a rest.
