Chapter 16

Brandon's POV

"Your highness we arrived." I opened my eyes to see we were in front of the castle .

The sun was coming out. Good. I left the carriage and entered the castle , and headed to my room. Finally. My beautiful room. I was about to sleep when I heard small sobs outside my room. Wtf?! I stood up quickly and opened the door. One of the twins, Alexandra's sister was crying holding a teddy bear.

"What's wrong?" My voice came out rough.

"I want Alex!" She cried.

"Let me tak you to her room then." She shook her head . "Why not?"

"She's not here." She whispered. She's WHAT? Maybe she's in the kitchen?

"Where is she then?"

"S-she l-left." I tried to take deep breaths but couldn't. WHERE THE FUCK DID SHE GO?

"Come on little one let me take you to your room." She nodded and I carried her .

Once she was in I left to my parents room. HOW DID THEY LET HER LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING ME. I was angry. No I was enraged. I stood at my parents door and knocked hard. A sleepy mom opened the door.

"Brandon? Why are you here?!" She seemed panicked.

"Where's Alexa ?"

"She.... well.... uhm." She was looking anywhere but my eyes .

"Where is she ?!" I started to lose patience.

"She went back home." My dad said from behind her.

"WHAT? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?" I roared. I was beyond furious.

"What's wrong?" Alexa's parents were running to us.

"Brandon?" Regina halted when she saw me. She shared a look with Jake.

"Listen son. She left for a couple of days she'll be back."

"NO! I want her here now!"

"Brandon son. My dad is dying. He wants to see her and Harry." She teared up.

"Why didn't you go with them?"

"He... he don't want us to be there. He strictly sent a letter for Jake telling him not to go." She looked at the floor. Shit. I can't deal with such situation.

I nodded and went back to my room. I don't know why I'm so angry. Her presence was bothering me and now since she left I should feel relieved. I'm not going to have feelings for her. It's a trap and I won't fall in it again. One heart break is enough for me. I closed my eyes and drifted back to sleep with one face on my mind.

Alexandra's POV

"Hey grandpa!" We were finally there. After 7 agonizing hours we arrived to Graceland, to grandpa's mansion.

"Alex." He greeted me. Then he greeted Harry.

"Let's go inside get some rest your rooms were cleaned and ready." Grandpa looked healthy and that was good.

I went back to my old room to see... my friends? Angela, Christina and Jason were all here.

"Wha are you doing here?" I asked excitedly.

"We knew you were coming." Angela jumped and hugged me.

"I missed you!!" I laughed. After our moment of reunion we were seated on the couches of my room.

"So. We heard you are engaged." Christina said.

"Yeah."

"Alex you don't sound happy." Angela said .

"No I am."

"Look Alex we know you. You're not. Do you love him? " I sighed.

"No we don't love each other."

"Then what?"

"I don't know why I accepted." I told them.

"Listen Alex. I've known you since we were little and I know you've been obliged to this engagement." Jason said.

"No guys really . I accepted to this." I sighed.

"Okay then. We'll see you tomorrow right now rest a bit." I nodded and they left.

Dream.

"Alexa! Alexa why did you leave me?"

"Brandon where are you?"

"You left me." His voice was broken.

"No Brandon I'm going back!"

"No you're not."

"Why can't I see you?" My surrounding was white. I could hear his voice but I couldn't see him.

"Alexa!" His voice was fading.

"No!"

"NO!"

"Alex!" I looked up to see Harry looking worriedly at me. I bursted in crying.

"Harry we have to leave to Emerland."

"Why? Tomorrow we will leave."

"No I will talk with grandpa." He looked strangely at me but nodded.

After I took a shower I decided to wear a pink dress. I couldn't stop thinking about my dream. Brandon's voice was so broken that it breaks my heart every time I remember it. After I got dressed I put some make up on and left my room.

"Isaac!" I saw one of my grandpa's guards.

"Lady Alexandra." He bowed.

"Where's grandpa?"

"The duke is in the sitting room. He has a guest." Hmmm a guest?

"Thank you Isaac." He nodded and I went to the sitting room.

Two guards opened the doors of the room when they saw me. I smiled at them and entered the room to see grandpa talking with... Johnny?! What is he doing here?! He is supposed to be spending his vacation in Emerland. They seemed so engrossed in their talk that they didn't notice my entrance.

"Don't forget what we agreed on ."

"Yes sir don't worry. I'm sure she'll be happy."

"I'm sure of that too. I saw the love in her." Johnny smiled at my grandpa and drank his red wine.

"Johnny?" They both turned abruptly and looked at me with wide eyes.

"Alex!" He looked nervous.

"What's going on here?"

"Nothing honey. Johnny here was paying your old man a visit." He smiled.

"Oh okay."

"It was nice seeing you Alex but I must leave." I waved at him while he left.

"Grandpa I want to leave today. So whatever you want from us we can get it over with today."

"Why are you leaving so soon."

"I... uhm... I miss Sia and Bella."

"I missed them too. Okay wait for me in my office in an hour along with Harry."

"Okay." I wonder what he wanted from us. Grandpa left the room in a hurry and I was left alone. Well I better have a walk in the gardens for the meantime to ease my mind.
