Chapter 3

Alexandra's POV

"The town is so beautiful." I said amazed . Anna nodded.

"Let's go walk a bit. Lucas stop the carriage!" Instantly the carriage stoped and we exited it. The people here were so carefree and happy. All bowed to the princess with smiles on their faces. The people here loved the royal family it was obvious.

"Princess! Please help me." A man came running towards Anna.

"What's wrong?" She was concerned. And now I knew why they all loved the royal family. And for a 14 years old girl, she was pretty smart and worthy of the responsibility she is taking.

"Your highness I lost my job 3 days ago and I can't feed my family."

"Come to my office in 1 hour we'll discuss the matter." Huh? That was a masculine voice and not Anna's voice. I turned around and my breath hitched. There behind me was Brandon, standing confidently and wearing his royal attire. He was hot! Wait what? Stop Alex. He had his usual frown but his eyes showed kindness.

"Thank you your majesty." The man bowed and left.

"Brother you didn't get his name."

"Don't worry Anna. I know him." She nodded. When did he come ?! What is he doing here?

"Why did you come?" He raised an eyebrow at me . I blushed. That was stupid of me.

"I-I m-meant do you want to go with us to see your g-grandparents?" He nodded and we started walking. Guards were surrounding us as we walked and the people would bow and make way for us.

"Ours grandparents live outside the town when we finish our tour we'll take the carriage." Anna said. We bought baguettes on our way. Anna and me ate each one and the rest were for her grandparents.

"I love the town so much." Anna said out of the blue.

"Why?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Because it was the first place my parents met and well decided to get married?" I was confused.

"Well it's a long and complicated story. I don't understand it until now. My mom was forced to marry a person she used to love but due to a memory loss she forgot him an-"

"Ok stop. My head hurts." I laughed and she laughed along with me.

"I obviously want to know the story but let's not be busy. Our head must be clear so we could focus." Of course I wasn't focusing with my old crush, the ruthless and handsome soon to be king, walking besides me. I would glance at him and catch him looking at me.

"Alex wait here with Brandon I want to buy something for my aunt Elli ." I nodded and she entered a small shop .

"How was Graceland?" Brandon surprisingly asked me with a gruff voice.

"Fine. I missed it here but there is my life." He nodded and turned around.

"Brandon! Brandon!" A young lady was running towards us and screaming at the top of her lounges Brandon's name.

"Fuck!" I heard him say. " Anna hurry the fuck up." He was now angry . A lot may I say. Who's that girl. But before Anna could come the girl was already by our side.

"Elena get the fuck away from me." Oh the cheating fiancé.

"Brandon please they wouldn't let me get into the castle. Let me explain."

"I don't want to hear anything from you!" His voice was deadly. She flinched slightly.

"Please I love you don't do this to us."

"You did this to us."

"No Bran-"

"I already have a fiancé." He said. I looked at him shocked.

"Oh really ? Who!" She challenged him.

"Alexandra." He said calmly. But my heart was anything but calm. How dare he!

"This?" She said pointing at me.

"Guards take her away!" Brandon shouted. 2 guards came and took a struggling Elena. You deserve it bitch. Wait! He called me his fiancé.

"What the fuck Brandon?!"

"What?"

"I'm not your fiancé! And I will never be." He glared at me and was about to say something but Anna got out of the store .

"Why is the atmosphere so tense?"

"Because your brother is stupid!" Brandon suddenly held me by my elbow.

"Dare and say that one more time and you're dead ." I gulped but didn't show fear. I snatched my elbow from his hand and instantly missed the warm sensation of it.

"Dare to call me your fiancé one more time and you'll regret it!" I glared back.

"Uh guys." Anna said nervously.

"What?" We said at the same time.

"We should go."

"I'm going back to the castle."

"Thank god ." At that I received another deathly glare.

"Stop it both of you. What is wrong with you?!"

"Anna leave." Brandon said in an authoritative voice. Surprisingly no one was watching the scenery.

"Come on Anna." I said and we started walking towards the carriage.

"Don't mind he's going through hell."

"If going through hell means calling a girl you met 2 days ago your fiancé then fuck."

"Grandma!" We have been standing for 10 minutes knocking on the door but no response until now.

"Anna maybe they left somewhere."

"They know I'm coming to visit today. Lucas ask the neighbors if they saw them." The guard bowed and left with 2 others. After 5 minutes they came back.

"They said they left in a carriage but don't know where."

"Anna?" A handsome man came towards us from the back of the house .

"Uncle Harry!" She squealed and ran to hug him.

"How is the little princess ?" He kissed her forehead.

"I'm fine. Where's Sofia?"

"She went with your grandparents and your aunt Elli to visit her fiancé. They should be coming soon. Come in."

"Oh uncle this is Alexandra."

"Nice to meet you sir." I said with a small smile.

"Oh Alex as in Jake and Regina's daughter."

"The one and only." He smiled the biggest smile ever and hugged me.

"When did you come?"

"Yesterday."

"Great. Now let's go inside." He opened the door with his key. The inside was so classy and beautiful. This was a two story house with a dinning room at the right and the kitchen to the left. There was a small sitting room at the center and the stairs.

"Sit down I'll make coffee."

"Alex would you tell me what happened?"

"Later Anna." My voice was firm meaning there's no room for discussion. Harry came back with 3 cups of coffee and sat next to Anna.

"Where's Brandon he usually comes with you."

"He has some work to do uncle. You don't come visit us anymore."

"Princess you know Sofie is having a hard time with her pregnancy. " I looked confused.

"Sofie is uncle Harry's wife and mother of Sofia and John." She explained to me.

"Where is she?"

"She's laying upstairs."

"Is she in pain?" Anna asked with a sad voice.

"Yes." His yes broke my heart because his voice was so broken. I wanted this love in the future. Someone who would be hurt because I'm hurting.

"H-Harry?"

"That's Sofie . I'll check ok her. Alex come with me if you want she'll get her mind of the pain a bit." I nodded and followed Anna upstairs. We entered an amazing room where a beautiful yet tired woman was laying on the bed.

"Sofie!"

"H-hey A-Anna." She said tiredly.

"How month is she pregnant?"

"Nine." I turned around to see Brandon. Again?!! Why does he appear everywhere. I glared and looked back at Sofie . It wasn't the time to argue. Anna kissed Sofie's head.

"We'll let you sleep a bit." Sofie nodded her head and we headed back downstairs. 2 old couple and a gorgeous girl were standing in the sitting room. Anna ran and hugged them all.

"Who's the beautiful lady?" Her grandpa asked.

"Grandpa this is Alex. Alex this is my grandfather, grandmother, aunt Elli and Sofia. I waved at them and said a small 'hello'.

"Sofie's water broke!"
