Chapter 39

Alexandra's POV

"It has been your father's dream to walk you down the aisle." Mom said kissing my forehead.

"I'm thankful my dad is by my side in this day to walk me down the aisle." I replied with a smile.

"The bride is ready." Laura, the maid, exclaimed. My dad knocked on the door and opened it. He looked at me with teary eyes.

Mom was to my right and Lea was to my left. Along with dad entered Harry. He smiled at me.

"You look beautiful Alex!" Harry said.

"Thank you Harry."

"Let's go my beautiful daughter." Dad said taking my hand in his.

"Alex your bouquet of flowers." Maria gave me my bouquet. It was made from white flowers and 1 red flower. It was the flowers Brandon would bring me when I was in a coma.

I held it dearly and thanked her. Maria was my maid of honor. Anna, Christina and Angela were my bridesmaids.

We stood behind the double doors and waited for the song to start. 2 minutes later the song started and the doors were opened by the guards. I started walking with shivering hands and legs. My dad squeezed my hand and I smiled at him. At the end Brandon was waiting for me with an emotionless face. But I knew better. His eyes hold happiness and proudness. He was looking at me with heated eyes.

My dad gave my hand to Brandon and he helped me on the stairs. His tears didn't go unnoticed by me. I smiled at him and he couldn't but smile a small smile at me.

"We are gathered here to unite his highness prince Brandon Alexander Chaucer and Lady Alexandra Maria Marlowe in marriage. The essence of this commitment is the acceptance of each other in eternity as lover, companion and friend. Marriage ideally is a sharing of responsibilities.

Today you will be bound to rule this kingdom, Emerland's kingdom alongside. Taking all the responsibilities of the kingdom." The priest said. "Now for the vows."

"Since day one I hated your presence." The people laughed and I rolled my eyes. "But then when I asked you to be my fiancé and you accepted I started changing and I hated it. You made me feel new feelings and when I thought I lost you I turned crazy and I admitted my feelings. I would've fought the world for you if it was needed. You made me the person I am today. You're my world, my princess, my angel and soon my queen. I love you. I will always stay by your side in the good times and the bad times. In sickness and health." He kissed my hand and wiped my a tear that slide on my face.

"When mom told me we're coming back to Emerland I asked her "what awaits us there?". I didn't know you will be awaiting for me. I didn't know I would find love. I didn't know I will be in a kingdom where I'll be in love with it's people. And most certainly I didn't know I would find a person I would rely on him, would fight for me and keep me safe. My love for you was growing and I didn't know that until we nearly lost each others. I promise to love you in sickness and health. I promise to love out people. I promise to be the queen Emerland deserves. And most importantly I promise to always love you and stay by your side." I smiled when I finished my speech.

"Do you Barndon Alexander Chaucer take Alexandra Maria Marlowe as your wife?"

"I do."

"Do you Alexandra Maria Marlowe take Brandon Alexander Chaucer as your husband?"

"I do." I said with over joy.

"I declare you now husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest said and Brandon swiped me in his arms and kissed me deeply pouring all his love into this kiss.

"I love you." He said when he put me down.

"I love you too." I said back and we kissed again.

"If you kindly could come to the royal ballroom everyone." Ace announced. It was time for the coronation. Oh god. I squeezed Brandon's hand and we walked to the ballroom.

"Alex! Congratulations." I turned around to see Robert.

"Robert! Thank you! I'm glad you're here." I smiled and resumed walking. We walked on the stairs while the others stood downstairs so everyone could see us.

Ace raised his hand and everyone stopped talking waiting for their king to talk.

"As you all know, I have been ruling this kingdom for 20 years. It's time for me to give my responsibilities to my son. He has proved to me that he is worthy of the throne along with duke Jake's daughter Alexandra. I'm more than relaxed because Emerland will be in good hands." He then turned to us. "I now pronounce Brandon Alexander Chaucer King of Emerland!"

Everyone cheered to their new king and Ace put the crown on Brandon's head. Lea then walked to stand next to Ace.

"I've been a queen to an amazing people. But it's time I give my duty to Alexandra. She has proved to me that she will be a wonderful queen." She turned to me. "I now pronounce Alexandra Maria Marlowe Queen of Emerland!"

They cheered for me and she put a tiara on my head. I gave her a hug and a little thank you. I looked at my parents. They were proud of me. They gave me smiles while Bella and Sia were jumping next to them laughing. Harry was nowhere to be seen so is Anna. I smirked.

She looked wonderful today. Harry couldn't stand all the boys that were staring at her. I'm sure. My brother is possessive even though they are trying not to show their true feelings to each other. The other day when we questioned them they told us that they can't stand each other's presence and that they always fight. Harry even called her a stupid cat.

Yeah he's turning crazy. Stupid and cat really?

But we instantly knew Brandon and I that they have feelings for each other. I'm glad about that. But Brandon? He is another story. He hated the fact that his baby sister likes a boy.

"Come on my queen let's get our honeymoon started." We waved at the people and walked towards our carriage.
