Chapter 46

Alexandra's POV

"Hello sweetheart." Brandon said entering my room.

"Brandon." I squealed like a kid on Christmas and jumped on him.

"I'll take w shower and come okay?"

"Okay." He kissed my forehead and entered the bathroom.

I sat on the bed and closed my eyes. This has always been my dream. To welcome my husband. But I never thought he would be the king.

"Why are you smiling?" I was startled.

"That was a fast shower." I told him.

"I couldn't stay away from you longer." I rolled my eyes.

"That's sho cheesy." He chuckled and dropped the towel. "Brandon." I scolded him covering my eyes.

"It's not like you have never seen it before." He said.

"Yeah but still." I screamed.

"Oh come on babe." He rolled his eyes. He slowly came towards me.

He was above me in a second and took my hands and locked them above my head with his hand. He started kissing my neck and I shivered. He then kissed me on the lips while his free hand roamed my body.

"It's gonna be a very long night." He whispered huskily in my ear.

And indeed it was a long night full of love.

"Get up sweetheart." I opened my eyes to see Brandon looking at me with a smile.

"Why are you up so early?" I asked him in a sleepy voice.

"Early? It's noon sweetheart. Plus I have a kingdom to run." He replied amused.

"Noon? I should get going!" I jumped from the bed.

"Why? Where are you going?" He asked with a frown.

"To visit your grandparents! It has been awhile since we last saw them." I shrugged.

"I'll come with you." He said getting up.

"You're dressed." I said shocked.

"Well unlike you princess I had a meeting at 8 in the morning. I was up at 7." He smirked.

"You have too much energy." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm a king I should have all the energy." He chuckled. "Come on sweetheart get ready. I have a meeting in 2 hours." I nodded and went inside the bathroom.

I took a very much needed shower. I brushed my teeth and put the towel around my body and another one on my hair.

I left the bathroom to get dressed. I put on a beautiful yellow dress and decided to put my tiara after drying my hair with the towel and brushing it.

When I felt satisfied with my look I twirled one last time in front if the mirror and faced the door.

"You startled me!" I said putting a hand on my heart.

"I'm sorry your highness you look so beautiful that I couldn't interrupt you." Laura said.

"It's fine." I smiled at her. "Do you want anything?"

"Yes actually I wanted to ask if I could leave the castle for a couple of days. My mom is sick." She said with a sad expression.

"Oh I'm sorry. Yes of course. I'll talk with Brandon."

"No no need you can just sign here." She gave me a paper. I looked at it and before I sign it I red it.

No one can be trusted.

On the request of Laura Kaylen I king/queen of Emerland permit her to leave the castle for 5 days to visit her mom.

"I'll sign it for you. But Brandon must sign too." She nodded. I took the feather and dipped it in the ink. I signed my name and took the paper with me.

Brandon was like always waiting for me like the gentleman he is. He looked at me from head to toe but his face was expressionless. He was like that when someone other than our family is around.

"You look gorgeous." He whispered in my ear.

"You too." I whispered back. "Laura wants to go see her deceased mom for 5 days. I already signed my name. But I insisted you sign too." I told him.

"Fine." He signed his name and gave Laura the paper.

"Thank you Your highness." She bowed.

"Don't take longer than 5 days understood?" He said coldly.

"Yes sir." She nodded her head and left immediately.

"You should be a little bit nicer." I said with a smile.

"That side is only for you." He smirked.

"And our family." I nudged him.

"And our family." He chuckled.

"Where are you going." A high pitched voice said from top of the stairs.

"To your grandparents wanna come?" I asked Anna.

"Of course."

"Awesome." Brandon said in a a low voice.

She ran down the stairs until she was next to us.

"I'm coming too." Harry said walking to us.

"Double awesome." He rolled his eyes.

"Never mind him. Let's go." I linked my hands with both Anna and Harry and we made our way to the carriage.

"Glad to know I'm being left behind."

"Aw come on honey. We'll be late." I told him.

Conor knocked on Brandon's grandparents's door. 2 minutes later it was opened to reveal Harry, Brandon's uncle and Lea's brother.

"My god! It's you." He exclaimed and Anna ran and hugged him.

"Uncle Harry!" She yelled.

"Princess. How are you?"

"I'm fine." She said.

"Who came?" Harry's daughter, I think her name was Sofia looked at us.

"Oh Alex!" She hugged me. When did she love me this much? I barely know her.

"Hello Sofia." I patted her back awkwardly.

"I'm the king you know." Brandon joked.

"Yeah and I'll take care of welcoming you. Welcome to our humble home my king." John, Sofia's brother popped out of the house. We all laughed.

"Come in!" Harry said. Sofie, Harry's wife was sitting on the couch with her baby. The baby I delivered for her.

"Angel face." I exclaimed.

"He has a name now you know." She laughed handing him to me.

"He's an angel I'll always call him that." I smiled at the little boy in my hands.

"Hope to see your baby soon." She smirked and I blushed glaring playfully at her.

"Harry."

"Yes?" Both my brother and Brandon's uncle answered me. It was really awkward.

"I meant my brother." I laughed.

"Okay then call me uncle so that we can be separated." Uncle Harry chuckled.

"Okay." I giggled.

"Yes sister?" Harry was standing next to me.

"Here hold the baby." I told him.

"What? No. I can't. I never held a baby." He said immediately.

"You held Bella and Sia." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Those were my sisters. Therefore if I dropped them it would have been okay. But dropping someone else's baby. Hell no." He glared at me.

"Oh really? I wonder how you will hold your babies later. Anna for sure will teach you." I looked at the both glaring at me.

"Stop it Alex." He said.

"Don't speak with my wife like that." Brandon smacked Harry on the back of his neck.

"Ow! What was that for?" Brandon glared at him making him shut up.

"Who do we have here?" Brandon grandparents entered the room we were currently in.

"Grandpa. Grandma." Brandon said in a monotone voice.

"Hello son." Mr Carter said.

"Anna sweetheart." Mrs Carter welcome Anna.

"And the beautiful wife of my grandson." Mr Carter casted me a huge grin while Mrs Carter hugged me.

"How are you darling?" She asked me.

"I'm fine."

"Hello Harry." Me Carter nodded in Harry's direction.

"Hello sir." He said.

"Take a seat." Mrs Carter said. We all sat down on the couches.

On the right side of Harry Brandon sat blocking Anna. On the left side Mr Carter sat. Anna hugged and sat next to me. I tried muffling my laughter but she caught me.

"Stop laughing." She whispered yelled.

"I can't help it. Look at Harry he looks like he's having a seizure." I laughed more. She rolled her eyes but smiled with me.

"Poor Harry." She said under her breath but I caught it.

"Where's Aunt Elli?" Anna asked.

"She's home. With her husband. She can't handle 3 children alone and today her husband is on vacation so they are trying to spend so much time with their kids." Mrs Carter said.

"Yeah it's a good idea. Maybe we'll see them another time." I said.

We were back at the castle finally. I was so tired and sleepy. I couldn't wait to arrive to my room and sleep.

I was standing at the bottom of the stairs and looking at the long steps.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" Brandon asked me.

"I'm sleepy." I yawned.

Suddenly I was scooped in his arms and he took me to our room.

"I'm veryyy sleepy honey."

"But you woke up late." He frowned.

"I know. I don't usually get this tired. But it's like I was working hard labor while I did nothing." I said mirroring his frown.

"It's okay sweetheart. Go to sleep now. I'll wake you up for dinner."

"Yeah I still didn't see Lea." I said yawning.

"She's not here. She left with your parents." He said kissing my forehead.

"Oh okay."

"Sleep sweetheart."
