Chapter 53

Alexandra's POV

I was looking at the battle. Brandon said something but I couldn't hear what. I only got to watch the scene.

Suddenly arrows were shot towards the enemy and seconds later they attacked.

Oh god please protect Brandon. I put my hand on my stomach and continued watching. I couldn't see the faces clearly but I could recognize Brandon's royal suite.

It has been already 15 minutes and it looked like we were winning. Our warriors were merciless. There was lots of red everywhere.

I should go to the safety rooms. And that's what I did. I headed down. The halls were empty. Something was not right. Guards should be scattered here but it was empty. Good thing I was hiding a knife with me.

I started running towards my destination until someone gripped my hand. I yelped but they soon placed a hand on my mouth.

"Caught you." The man whispered in my ear. I didn't do anything but stay still. He let me go but I was surrounded by 3 more men.

"How did you enter the castle?" I snarled hiding my fear.

"I have my ways. You killed my uncle and you deserve to die." He said with an angry look.

"He tried to rape me!"

I saw one of them sneaking towards me but I quickly stabbed him with my hidden knife. He yelled and fall to the floor. Dead.

I killed someone. I watched his body with horror.

"You bitch! That was my brother." He screamed. The other one tried to take me but I plunged the knife in him.

He fell to the floor with the knife still in him.

"I'll kill you!" The third one took his knife and plunged it in my stomach. I screamed but he plunged it deeper.

I fell to the floor trying to catch my breath. I saw him looking at me with hatred.

"Now king Brandon will fall to our feet." He laughed and left.

When I was sure he left the castle I quickly took the knife from the blood bag I put on my stomach.

1. To protect me.

2. To fool them.

And I succeeded. But I have to go to Brandon to tell him I'm okay. Or he'll lose I'm sure of it. I won't let the kingdom's downfall be in my hand.

I ran to the stables and took a horse and headed to the battlefield.

When I was going I heard an inhuman roar. I knew it was Brandon. The news were delivered to him.

"Come on Cindy faster." My horse ran as fast as she could.

I halted when I saw the scene. Brandon was killing five at a time. They thought they will weaken him but they only unleashed the beast in him.

I waited longer. Let him kill as much as he can. They deserved it. I looked near me and that man was laying lifeless on the floor.

"Rest in hell bastard." I smirked at his body.

"My queen?" Andrew startled me.

"Andrew." I smiled at him.

"He said you're dead. You're bleeding!" He yelled.

"No no Andrew I'm fine." I assured him.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Yes." I breathed out.

"You have to stop Brandon he's going to get himself killed." He quickly said. I nodded and left my horse.

"Brandon." He stopped suddenly throwing the dead body he killed instants ago on the floor.

His body stiffened. He thinks he's hallucinating.

"Brandon look at me." He turned fast.

"Alexa?" His eyes widened. His angry look was back when he saw all the blood on me. He threw his sword and ran picking me up.

"You're suffocating me!" I said and he instantly let go of me.

"I thought you're dead." His voice broke my heart.

"I know. I let him think that."

"You're bleeding! Why are you here?" He yelled.

"Brandon it's fake blood relax I'm fine."

"Well well. You're still alive." Elena's voice made us all turn to her.

"You can't get rid of me." I smirked.

"It's time you die. Andrew kill Krayelon's king I want this to end." Andrew nodded with a smirk.

Elena didn't expect that Brandon would run so quickly. He plunged the sword into her heart.

"Goodbye bitch."

With that the enemy surrendered.

We won.

"So you're telling us that you're still pregnant?" Mom asked.

"Yes." They all screamed with joy. That wasn't the reaction I thought it would be. I thought they would he mad.

"Thank you Laura." Ace said.

"It's a pleasure to be the queen's savior." She laughed nervously.

Brandon hugged me from behind resting his head on my shoulder.

"Hey." He whispered.

"Hey." I whispered back.

"You're so smart Alex you know." Anna said.

"I don't understand until now why you didn't let me go to the battle." Harry grumbled and we laughed.

"I'm happy all ended well." I said and they all nodded.

"We're finally happy and at ease." Uncle Ace said.

"Now we wait for the baby." Lea squealed and we all laughed.

"I'm so proud of you baby girl." Dad said.

"Thank you dad."
