Chapter 1046 Remember My Warning Kisa pursed her lips coldly and said, “Stop pretending, Shaun.” Shaun looked at her with an innocent and puzzled face as he asked, “What are you talking about, Mrs. Kooper?” Seeing that he was still not giving up on the act, she stopped beating around the bush. “Care to explain yourself about the contract?”

“What kind of explanation do you want? Didn’t you read through that contract yourself? Did you forget that you signed it?”

“You didn’t say that there were terms and conditions that were not favorable to GK in the contract. You tricked me into signing it, and Gilbert didn’t have a meeting till 6:00 p.m. You set this whole thing up!”

Shaun did not refute. He just chuckled, “You’re right. I set it all up, but now everyone will think that you’re the one who made the contract, the one who signed it, and the one who deliberately wanted to harm GK Pictures.”

Kisa’s face darkened. “At first, I gave you special treatment because of Jensen. I allowed you to work in the office and retain your previous position. I didn’t expect you would be such an ambitious, sinister, and cunning person. From tomorrow onwards, you don’t have to come to the office. I don’t want someone who would frame me every chance he gets to be here.”

Shaun suddenly laughed grimly after hearing that. “I thought you would be happy that I took this opportunity to bring GK down. You’re still in love with Gilbert. But what about Jensen? It’s obvious that he means nothing to you.”

“Your heart is not in the right place. You’re just using Jensen as an excuse for what you’ve done.”

“Hehehe…” Shaun laughed weirdly. He pressed half of the cigarette in his hand into the ashtray and sneered, “Did you think… I did this for my own benefit?”

Kisa did not speak; she just stared at him coldly. “Gilbert hurt Mr. Kooper. Since you love him that much and didn’t want to avenge Mr. Kooper, I had no choice but to take matters into my own hands,” Shaun looked at her with a smug face and said. His tone was full of grudges.

Kisa frowned deeply as doubts started to cross her mind. “You’re saying that you did all this to avenge Jensen?”

“Hah,” Shaun sneered. “I see that you and Gilbert are a couple now, and you’re hitting It off. I’m afraid you’ve long forgotten about Mr. Kooper, who is still lying. unconscious in bed. But, I’ll never forget what you’ve done. Mr. Kooper is still so young and talented. Why can’t he have the chance to live his life?!

Kisa’s fists tightened as she said in a deep voice, “It’s not that I don’t want to avenge Jensen. It’s just not the right time.”

“Oh, stop making excuses. We all know that you’ve fallen into Gilbert’s loving arms.”

“Believe me or not, I’m telling you the truth,” Kisa replied softly. It did not matter if Shaun believed her or not. She did not want something similar to happen twice. She looked at him with a sharp gaze and said, “I know how to get back at Gilbert, and I will try my best to make up for everything Jensen has done. But, I don’t want you to do something like this again. Otherwise, don’t blame me if I no longer take your relationship with Jensen into consideration.”

“Hah. Just say you don’t want to avenge Mr. Kooper. If you actually want to avenge him, wouldn’t it be better if you and I joined forces?!” Shaun said sarcastically.

“I have my plans… Remember my warning.” After she finished speaking, Kisa turned around and walked out of the office. Shaun stared at her back and sneered, “Mrs. Kooper, would you go somewhere with me?”
