Gilbert saw Kisa going into her car and he strode in her direction. He shut the car door that was just opened by Kisa.

Kisa frowned and looked at him. “What are you doing? I need to go to the set now.”

“I’ll drive you there.”

“It’s fine. I can get there myself.” Kisa pushed him away as she spoke.

Gilbert stood in front of her car door shamelessly.

“Come on. Let me take you there.”

Gilbert smiled as he grabbed her arm and took her to another car.

Kisa turned her head and looked at him. She realized that he did not look like he cared about what she did about the contract, and he was even trying to please her.

Kisa could not help but feel guilty after seeing him like that.

She pursed her lips and asked, “Did you settle everything during your business trip?” “Kohen agreed to help me. I believe everything will be fine with his help. However…” Gilbert looked at her when he said that.

“I don’t think anyone can help me again if you screw me over another time.”

“Another time?” An awkward smile appeared on Kisa’s face. “You’re so clever and ruthless. Would you even allow me to do the same thing again?”

‘Ruthless?’

Gilbert frowned as he did not like the way Kisa described him very much.
