Chapter 1092 Ma’am Kisa was dozing off when Jolina’s bellow woke her up. The recliner that she was lying on seemed to have some kind of malfunction. It was as if one of the recliner’s legs was broken as it tilted toward one side. Jolina’s face changed, and she rushed over. Fortunately, Kisa was already awake and quick to react. She reached out and braced herself on the ground to prevent herself from falling.

Jolina rushed over to help her. “Kisa, are you all right?” she asked, anxiously checking Kisa’s tummy.

Kisa did not even bother to explain because no one believed her. So, she just replied, “I’m fine. Thank goodness you shouted just now. Otherwise, I would have fallen off the chair, not knowing what happened.”

The director heard the noise and also hurriedly ran over. He was even more anxious than Jolina was.

“Are you all right, Ma’am?”

Kisa laughed after hearing the director calling her Ma’am and shook her head. “I’m fine. Don’t worry.”

“How can I not be worried?” The director cried, “If anything happens to you and the baby in your womb, Mr. Kooper will kill me. How about this, you don’t have to come to the studio tomorrow? I will use a stunt double for the rest of the scene.”

“No. Doing this will ruin my reputation,” Kisa quickly said. After all, she was not pregnant in the first place.

“What if something happens to you in the studio?”
