Chapter 1388 Trapped in a Room Kisa’s eyes lit up at the thought. She ran wild in the garden like a madwoman. “Ahh… Something is after me! Go away… Help me! Help me!” she shrieked, pushing Leon and Isaac as she ran past them.

At times, she would run to the large tree and hug it, crying and laughing in turns.

She tilted her head, speaking to the tree, as if it was a person, “How pitiful! Are you hung to your death? What are you doing up there? Come down. Let’s play together,” she called out, gesturing toward Leon and Isaac. “And bring them with us. They can play, too.”

Leon and Isaac exchanged a look, the chill on their spines only getting stronger in the already cold surroundings.

‘Forget curiosity, staying alive is the priority!’ Leon barked at Isaac. “Let’s just get the crazy woman into the first room and get out of here. I’m outta here!” With that, Leon started making his way to the hall.

Isaac, seeing Leon leave, knew they could not linger any longer with Kisa becoming increasingly demented. He quickly grabbed Leon.

“Dad said to bring the woman to the first room together. You can’t leave me here!”

Isaac tugged on Leon, leading him back toward Kisa.

“Come on, let’s get her inside and then get the heck out of this place!”

The initial curiosity of the two had now turned into complete terror.

‘This basement is too darn creepy! No wait! It’s probably being stuck with this crazy woman that’s too darn scary!’

Kisa was not about to be caught so easily. When she heard them coming to get her, she took off running. After frantically darting around the garden, she ran into a few rooms. She did not go into the first room, instead, acting all crazy and pushing open each door. When she pushed open the doors, she even took a sneaky look inside, but she found nothing special. At a glance, they seemed just like the guest rooms in the Mullen residence, just more stylishly decorated with unique screens that added an extra touch of charm.

When Leon and Isaac finally caught up, she darted into the first room herself. Without a second thought, Leon quickly shut the door. It had a lock. To prevent Kisa from escaping, he quickly locked the door with the brass lock. “Bro, curiosity kills the cat. Let’s not be curious anymore, and get out of here,”

Leon’s voice echoed with the sound of the lock falling.

Kisa panicked. She did not know why Mr. Mullen Sr. wanted to lock her in this room.

“Okay, no more curiosity. Let’s hurry up and go report to Dad,” Isaac chimed in. Then, the sound of their footsteps gradually faded away.

Even though she did not know the reason Mr. Mullen Sr. locked her in here, the crazy play had to go on. She was afraid that there were cameras and Mr. Mullen Sr. was watching her every move.

Thinking of this, she ran to the door in terror and started wildly beating the wooden door. “Let me out!

Why are you keeping me locked up? Let me out! I don’t want to stay here. It’s so scary. There are ghosts! Let me out! Aah… ” Kisa roared, even adding a touch of terror and madness to her scream.
