Suddenly, she heard a vague sound of people talking. The voices sounded familiar.

‘That sounds like Anthony and Mr. Mullen Sr.’

Kisa stroked her belly as she thought about what would happen to her. ‘Every time I want to protect you, I end up putting you in danger,’ she said to the baby in her belly.

‘I’m such an incompetent mother… I wonder what Gilbert is doing right now. Does he know that I’m down here? Would he come save me if he knew?”

Suddenly, Kisa saw Gilbert walking toward her, almost like a hallucination from missing him too much.
