Kisa frowned as she looked at the man. ‘What does he mean by that? Was he actually hurt by what I said that day? Does he no longer want this relationship with me?’

Albert and Anthony were the ones to take charge of all the affairs after Mr. Mullen Sr.’s death while the other sons only cared about the family property. The old lady was getting too old to care for her family affairs, so she just went to the Mullen family’s ancestral hall and prayed every day.
