Chapter 1406 Distributing The Inheritance Everyone in the Mullen family was shocked when they found out that 50% of the family’s property and business shares were given to Anthony. Albert got 10%, while Leon, Isaac, and Joe each got only 5%.

Meanwhile, Vivian got 15%, and finally Mrs. Mullen Sr. got 10%.

Kisa was also taken aback when she heard about the distribution of the inheritance. She looked at Kelvin and asked, “Are you sure? The distribution numbers seem rather unreasonable. Doesn’t this mean that Anthony is now the head of the Mullen family? Wasn’t he the most unfavorable one out of them all?”

“Yeah. That’s why the other sons of the Mullen family went crazy. They’re saying that he killed Mr.

Mullen Sr. and forged the will. Leon, Isaac, and Joe are planning to join forces and sue Anthony.”

Kisa frowned. “What happened next? There hasn’t been any news from the Mullen family in the past half a month. Has the inheritance dispute been resolved?”

“The only reason there hasn’t been any news is that Anthony had something to do with it. After all, the argument would be a huge scandal. If it gets out on the news, their family will become a laughingstock to the public eye.”

Kisa nodded knowingly at the sound of that.

‘Looks like Vivian was right. Mr. Mullen Sr. favored Anthony the most. Jane must be the happiest person in the world right now since her son’s made her proud. I feel sorry for Lea. If she hadn’t killed herself, Anthony would marry her since he’s now the head of the house. No one would be able to bully her anymore if they got married. They would have been able to live happily ever after. It’s a pity now that nothing can be done now that her life is gone.’

Lea’s death impacted Kisa deeply. She finally understood that being alive is the most important thing to do because as long as one is alive, there is still hope for everything.

“Why do I feel like Anthony has changed into a completely different person?” Kelvin muttered as Kisa was deep in thought.

“What do you mean?” she looked at him and asked.

Kelvin popped a peanut in his mouth and said in disbelief, “He didn’t take the 50%.”

“What?!!” Kisa was surprised. She had always assumed that Anthony was a sinister person with great ambitions and a heart of vengeance.

‘How could he not want such an inheritance? Owing 50% of the property share is equivalent to owning the entire Mullen assets. How could he give it up so easily?’

Kisa was puzzled.

Kelvin also could not figure out why it happened.

“It really seemed like he did not want anything from the will. He handed the 50% to Albert and Ms.

Mullen, respectively. I wouldn’t have believed in it either if I hadn’t seen the whole thing happen with my own eyes.”

“It also seems like he wanted to leave the Mullen residence, but his mother did not want to go with him. Jane scolded him and cried so bad to express that she wasn’t leaving and wanted to die in the Mullen family home. Anthony still left after that. He even told Albert to take care of Jane and not to mistreat her. This sh*t happened three days ago, and the man has yet to return to the Mullen residence. Kisa was startled. ‘Did Anthony change because of Lea? This shows that he really loved her. What a pity…’
