Reborn Through Fire
Chapter 1420 If Youâre So Disgusted, Donât Kiss Me Kisaâs body tensed as she looked at him. âWâWhat do you want?â she asked, her heart pounding âYouâre always trying to please me, arenât you? So why donât you use your body to do it?â the man said as he unbuttoned her coat. His slender fingers reached into her collar, his dark eyes showing no desire, only a mocking grin.
âIf you want to seduce me, at least put some effort into it, wonât you?â
Kisaâs heart raced as she gazed deeply into his dark eyes.
âGilbert, please donât do this.â
Gilbert chuckled softly, his powerful fingers lingering on her neck, threatening to snap her delicate neck at any moment.
âThen tell me, what should I do?â
Kisa was speechless as his hand tightened around her neck. Despite his smile, she felt more. terrified and vulnerable than when he was angry.
âBut really, Iâm giving you a chance,â he continued. âIf you can lower yourself and please me, I might even fall for you. And then, you could easily kill me, couldnât you? Or maybe youâre always thinking about Jensen, so you canât do this? Iâm curious, what were you thinking about when we were together?
Did you imagine that I was him?â
As the manâs words grew more absurd, Kisa felt angry and helpless. She looked deeply into his eyes and said, âI have no romantic feelings for Jensen.â
Gilbert laughed softly. âWhich of the words coming out of your mouth are true and which are lies?â âI now⦠umâ¦â
As Kisa was speaking, he suddenly grabbed her by the back of the neck and fiercely pressed his lips onto hers. His dominant kiss was filled with roughness and aggression, and its dark intensity nearly consumed her. Kisa thought he would torture her, as he had done so many times before, but to her surprise, he kissed her for a few seconds and then pushed her away with force. The impact caused her body to collide with the car door, leaving her slightly dizzy.
Frowning, she yelled at him, âAre you insane?â
Gilbert did not speak, but instead used a tissue to wipe his lips, as if he was disgusted by her breath.
This made Kisa extremely angry. âIf you are so disgusted, then donât kiss me. Who asked you to kiss me?â
He lowered the car window and threw the tissue outside. He then quickly started the car, and a blast of cold wind rushed in, mixed with his icy mockery. âYour taste is nothing special.â
Feeling cold and trembling, Kisaâs face turned red in anger.
âNothing special? Okay, I will remember that. If he has the guts, he should never touch me again!â
She looked outside with indignation, feeling suffocated and her eyes filled with tears. She comforted herself by thinking that it was her fault for hurting his heart and making him misunderstand, which led him to humiliate her. With this thought, her anger at him dissipated a little.
The next day, Gilbert took her on the Kooper familyâs helicopter. The private aircraft had been out of commission, but it had just been repaired and flown over, although Kisa did not know if it was fully operational.
As she looked around the helicopter, she turned to Gilbert beside her and said, âWhy donât we just take a regular flight back?â
He leaned back in his seat, his long legs crossed with a magazine open on his knee, his eyes fixed on the pages. Kisa thought he would not respond, but to her surprise, he spoke in a relaxed tone.
