Reborn Through Fire
Chapter 262 Youâre Such a Gentleman Toward Women Jensen stood up in an instant, âYou canât give her to your brother!â
Kohen grinned lightly while his gaze was icy cold, âShe belongs to my brother.â
Seeing Jensenâs upset expression, Kisa quickly pulled his arms and said to Kohen, âWe donât want to continue this partnership; please return what belo ngs to Jensen.â
Kohen turned his gaze to Kisa. His deep gaze showed a hint of recognition. He chuckled, âDo you want to know what
that thing is?â
Jensen pulled a long face while Kisa stayed silent.
Kohen laughed out loud, âItâs a woman.â
âA woman?â Kisa looked at Jensenâs long face and thought of Mia.
Kohen leaned back on the sofa lazily. His slender fingers lay on the back of the sofa while an unlit cigar ette lay between his fingers. He gave a deep, meaningful look to Jensen, âI have to say, youâre such a
gentleman toward women.â
Kisa smiled, âThen, we are even more sure that we will not continue this partnership.â
Kohen smiled nonchalantly, âThere are plenty of people who want to form a partnership with me, includi ng Mr. Kooper from GK Pictures. I took the trouble and made a trip here. If youâre unwilling to cooperat e, I can just form a partnership with Mr. Kooper. Itâs fine with me either way.â
âHave it your way!â Kisa said as she dragged Jensen to leave.
If it required the sacrifice of Mia to get this partnership, she would rather not work on it at all. However,
Jensen pulled her back again.
She frowned as she stared at him, âJensen, this partnership requires too much sacrifice. I would rather
call it off instead of letting it disturb my conscience.â
Jensen could only shake his head at her. He stared at Kohenâs relished expression and replied with det ermination, âYou havenât given her to your brother, yes?â
Kohen laughed drily, âMy brother hates her.â
âIf you wanted to give her to your brother, you wouldâve done it by now. You wouldnât have waited till no w since there were so many chances before this.â
Kohen smiled coldly, â Donât be so sure. You wouldnât dare guess what I have in mind.â
âReally?â Jensen laughed coldly and took out two contracts, âIf you want to collaborate, then sign these contracts.â
âJensen!â Kisa protested anxiously.
She truly did not want this partnership. Yet Jensen only gave her a comforting smile, âSheâll be fine, trus t me.â
Jensen pursed her lips and was at a loss for words.
Kohen sat up with a light grin, â Since weâll be signing this agreement, then donât forget about the newly developed piece of land in the north of the city.â
Jensen furrowed his brows in disdain, âYouâre truly greedy.â
âWithout greed, how else would I reach the pinnacle of wealth?â Kohen quickly skimmed through the co ntracts and then signed his name neatly below.
Jensen passed the other contract to Kisa.
âSign it.â
Kisa hesitated, âMs. Mia, will sheâ¦â
âSheâll be fine, just trust me!â
Kohen gave a playful smile and stayed silent.
Kisa tightly gripped the pen. Under Jensenâs urging and assurance, she shakily signed her name.
Kohen stared at her writing and smiled, âYour writing is not bad.â
âThankâ¦thank you.â
Upon exiting the hotel, Kisa anxiously asked Jensen, âWill Ms. Mia really be okay?â
âI know Kohen. Despite his psychotic demeanor and cruel methods, heâs quite merciful to old acquaintan âOld acquaintances?â Kisa was shocked, âMs. Mia, Kohen and you areâ¦â
