Chapter 173
Love After Divorce by BELLA
Chapter 173:
She was just like a hedgehog. Seeing that she was about to leave, Sophia was so annoyed that she grabbed her wrist and raised her hand to hit her.
However, Stella caught her wrist in time and sneered, âSophia! Are you being so mean because you are afraid of losing your dear fiancé?â Hitting someone simply because they didnât get alongâlike mother, like daughter.
Stella raised her hand and pushed Sophia away. As she was about to leave again, she heard something that stopped her in her tracks.
âAs if that kid of yours is Reneâs! Iâm sure Adrian is just some b*stard that came out of nowhere. Stella, since there are no outsiders here, just tell me where you bought that child!â
Stella turned around and slapped her in the face.
She did it without any warning, so Sophia didnât even have time to dodge. She didnât even need to think to know what was coming next.
She was going to cry in front of everyone, saying that she had been beaten by a vicious lady.
Stella didnât care about that. Her palms were numb as she followed Sophia out of the bathroom. When she walked to the dining table, RK looked very dark, his expression ugly.
She didnât know what Sophia had just said, but she heard RK say coldly, âStella, Adrian will be mine in less than a month!â Then, he strode out of the restaurant without even touching the food on the table.
Standing there with a blank face, Stella sneered.
âLess than a month, you said? You are too confident! Back then, you wanted me to get rid of my son, and now you want to steal him from me. Is there anyone more shameless than you?â
She spoke into the air; however, Aden replied, âThere is. Sophia is much more shameless!â
âHuh? Sophia? By the way, since you were here just now, what did she say in front of RK? Why did he suddenly look like he ate gunpowder?â
She hadnât seen him have such a bad temper throughout the entire day.
Lá´tеst chαptÑrs ín gíªlнovÑls.Ñоí She couldnât figure it out.
âDid you hit her?â
Stella sat opposite him and answered honestly, âYes.â
âJust now, she covered her face in tears, saying that you told her although Adrian was RKâs child, you were going to marry Tristan soon, so you would never give him custody. You also said that you would make Tristan Adrianâs father!â
Hearing Adenâs words, Stella immediately understood what they meant.
Goodness, why did her words change so much after leaving the bathroom? RK was bringing up the custody battle again.
âAden, I feel a little regretful. I should have slapped her even harder!â Sophia was getting more and more outrageous. Everything that came out of her mouth was unpleasant. Not only that, but she had gone too far.
When did she say that she was going to marry Tristan? That was still up in the air.
âLetâs just eat. Arenât you hungry?â
Aden moved the spoon unhurriedly and looked at her. He couldnât help but think about his silly sister.
When they were angry, they were very similar to each other.
âNo. I canât afford this meal. Now that the rich are gone, if I eat something here, I would go broke.â
âGo ahead and eat! This is the first time I have had dinner with you since you returned to the country. Donât be so polite. We are still friends.
I hope you donât take what I said in the graveyard to heart. You know that I was angry with RK. It had nothing to do with you. I was just venting my anger on you!â
âItâs okay. I understand.â
She knew that he wanted Alice to be alive.
She noticed the way he looked at her; he was trying to see Aliceâs shadow through her.
âThatâs right. About RKâs daughter, you donât know who that kidâs mother is, do you?â
Thinking of the hug in the clothing store, she quickly asked.
Aden gently took a sip of soup and nodded, âThatâs right. No one in the outside world or even the closest people around him knows who the childâs mother is. No one knows where he brought the child from.
But everyone knows that he is very fond of her and gives her whatever she wants. Other than him, no one in the entire Kingston family can do anything to her.â
âYou donât have to say that. I can see that the girl is very arrogant.â
She pushed people away simply because she could get along with them. Recalling the time when she pushed Adrian to the ground, Stella was still not satisfied.
She was so angry; if she wasnât a child, she wouldnât have let her get away with it.
