Chapter 240
Love After Divorce by BELLA
Chapter 240:
When she was living at the Richard family home, Stella didnât like spending much time with her so-called sister. Now that she was at the RK mansion, things hadnât changed.
At first, she knew that Sophia and RK had something between them. She had rejected the marriage at first, but... maybe it was fate that brought her and RK together in the end.
Sophia said, âStella, of course, I came to see you! I wanted to see how youâre doing... My dear sister who stole my man!
How are you enjoying everything that belongs to me?â
âLook at youâhaving meals delivered to your bed. Stella, do you think youâre living a good life?â Sophiaâs eyes glinted sharply as she spoke.
Stella, on the other hand, remained quiet. Since childhood, the two of them had never gotten along, and as they grew up, nothing changed.
Sometimes, it seemed like it was just fate. When you disliked someone, even their strengths appeared as flaws.
Similarly, if you liked someone, even their flaws seemed like advantages.
As for Sophia and Stella, they had always disliked each other. They couldnât see any good in each other at all.
Stella didnât reply. She kept her head down and stayed silent, simply wanting to avoid Sophia.
Even if she had to speak, she wouldnât say a word to her. If they could avoid each other, it would be better to never see each other again.
However, Stella hadnât expected that even at the RK mansion, she wouldnât be able to avoid her. It was clear that Sophia had come looking for her.
âStella, are you living comfortably?â
Sophiaâs lips curled into a cold smile as she added sarcastically, âYouâre now Mrs. RK, enjoying everything that should be mine. Does that make you happy?â
gαâ Î·Ï Î½í âs.com is your story hub She laughed, but her words were filled with venom.
âLet me tell you something, Stella. Even if youâre Mrs. RK, Rene will never acknowledge you! Youâre alone here every day! Do you think you can live a happy life like this?â
Sophiaâs harsh words filled the room, and her laughter echoed in Stellaâs ears, making her feel stuffy and uncomfortable. A deep sense of disgust welled up inside her.
âSophia, do you think telling me this will change anything? Do you really think RK will marry you just because youâre saying these things?â
Stella continued, âIf he didnât want to marry me, I wouldnât be here.â
Wasnât that the truth? If a man didnât want to marry a woman, nothing could force him.
Now, although their relationship wasnât as close as other married couples, legally speaking, RK had still married her. If he had wanted to end things, he could have done so at any time. But he hadnât.
Didnât that speak for itself?
If he loved Sophia so much, why had he married Stella?
Stella sneered, âOr maybe you should talk to him about getting a divorce.â
She pretended to be calm, knowing that sooner or later, a divorce was inevitable. But for now, Sophiaâs words wouldnât change anything.
Otherwise, why would Sophia be here challenging her right now? Stella didnât believe that Sophia wasnât already whispering in RKâs ear. Whether it worked or not, though, was a different story.
âStella, donât get too smug!â Sophia spat angrily.
To be honest, Stella had expected this reaction from her. Their relationship was beyond repair, and it wasnât something that could be fixed in this lifetime.
Stella simply sneered and remained silent.
Sophiaâs anger flared even more. âRene will divorce you sooner or later! Just wait!â
âStella, youâre such a fool. Donât think Rene will fall in love with you just because he married you!â
Bang... there was a dull thud.
Something hit Stellaâs arm.
Sophia had picked up her bag and swung it at Stellaâs body.
Initially, Sophia aimed to hit Stella in the face, but Stella noticed just in time, so the blow landed on her arm instead.
It had to be said, Sophia was strong, and it hurt.
Especially since there seemed to be something heavy in the bag, and it felt like the hit went straight to Stellaâs bones.
It was summer, and Stella was wearing a short-sleeved shirt. If the attack continued, her arms would be completely bruised.
However, Sophia didnât seem to want to stop at all! She swung the bag at Stellaâs shoulder next.
âStella, donât even think about taking Rene! Iâm telling you, you should leave this mansion as soon as possible!
Otherwise, youâll only embarrass yourself in the future.â
As Sophia spoke, she continued to strike Stella with her bag several times in a row.
Stella blocked each hit with her arms, but after several attempts back and forth, her arms were red and sore.
âSophia, are you crazy?â Stella reached out to grab the bag from Sophiaâs hands, but her injured foot made it difficult to move.
âSophia! Stop it! Stop!â Stella shouted.
Sophia glanced sideways and noticed that Stellaâs right foot couldnât move at all.
Due to the treatment for her sprained ankle, it was in a fixed position, making it impossible for her to move. At that moment, Sophia realized Stellaâs vulnerability.
